Two people, ordered one side, a soft drink and a large plate each and it was £50! The grilled beef had an okay flavour but looked like cheap kebab meat, the spicy udon noodles were not in fact spicy and the small plate ordered had a very unappetising sauce lathered on it (see pic) that tasted like seen a clove of garlic at some point in it's existence. Disappointing and would not recommend, there are some amazing Korean places to eat and i can't say this is one of them. Personally didn't like ordering from my phone, the menu was boring and didn't make any of the dish jump out or some interesting and the table had not been adequately cleaned when we arrived.

We were really disappointed with Yori, the tables are too close together, building is freezing cold, the food came out randomly without any meals coming together, the meat came first and then the rice arrived 5 minutes before we left as we'd finished all the meat so it was a complete waste ordering it. Wouldn't recommend personally, better options elsewhere

The overall experience was really poor. Service was slow, inconsistent and sporadic. No one seemed to be incharge so we had to constantly ask for cutlery, plates, water etc. Food was nothing special. As others have pointed out, the toilets are grim, tables left uncleaned and the decor pretty tired. In summary, this place needs a face-lift and someone to make sure that service and experience are greatly improved.

Well, what do I start with. We went for the bbq that they do, we ordered garlic chicken, pork belly and beef bulgogi. All very tasty but the portions do feel a little small for the price you pay. The real let down was the service. We went midweek at 6pm so it was quiet. You have to order using a qr code not an issue for me but could be for some, but we placed our order and the food arrived before the drinks being our 1st issue. With the bbq tables they give you tongs and scissors to help you, but we had to ask to be given them, we also had to ask for chopsticks as they weren't on the table to begin with. Our drinks where left sat on the side for a while before being brought over, annoying considering its £4 for a 330ml can. The staff also very clearly priorities the delivery people that come through the doors. Tables left dirty in the hour and a half we was there. Then to top it off they add a 10% service charge on the bill, although I'm not sure what service I'm tipping for considering I've placed the order, I've had to ask for things to be brought over and I've had to cook the food. The only saving grace is the food was tasty but like a said small portions to price ratio

Tldr: Charged bizarrely much for below average food and not great environment. It’s just one of those restaurants that’s not really about their food. It would’ve been completely serviceable if you’re ok with kind of bad quality food (that’s just what the high street is like). It scratches an itch if you’re craving a Korean meal. But to charge more than £40 per person for the same quality you can grab from a fridge in a supermarket? I left the door feeling like I’ve really just paid for their logo. There was really nothing heinous, just don’t know where all that money went?? Beef brisket are the frozen rolls you get from Asian supermarkets, but they charge £12 for it. Same with pretty much all the other items. Kimchi is just scraps of soft mush. The bibimbap and the jigae are lukewarm (though tbf it might be to avoid people burning themselves). The dipping sauce is prepared next to the toilet in the corridor. The toilet is pretty grim, again, for the price they charge. No extractor fans so smoke everywhere. Underside of the grills hot under the table so careful with your knees. Much better food at Bibimbap House on Mill Road (£20 ish per person) or even the ones on Regent street.

Visited Yori BBQ in Cambridge with friends and family. The food was enjoyed overall, but vegetarians in the group may find the options quite limited. While the quality seemed good for those who tried the BBQ dishes, it would be great to see more variety for vegetarian diners.

Staff although plesaent where not attentive Food was completely un-seasoned. Had the BBQ 2 meats. Friday night, but took ages for meat or drinks to arrive. I feel some things should be included as standard: kimchi, sauce, seasoning. Although they give you a "complimentary" tray of 3 things, they are a teaspoons worth each. Not enough for 2 people. Shouldn't have to order lettuce wraps as extra. I do think people are "over hyping" this place due to the fact you ......"cook it yourself". Trust me, I've been to better!

In fact, I didn't think the food tasted good, it was obviously taken out of the fridge. There was no exhaust in the room, so it was very choking. The grill plate was easily blackened, but no one helped to deal with it. We chose the beef set, but one of them was replaced with chicken, and no one explained it until we asked and found out that it was out of stock. Although some compensation was given, I still felt a little angry.

The menu outside the local is outdated and they inform you about that way later. The service is non existing as you need to get up to ask about anything. The food is ok. But the price for the Korean beer was ridicolous (£6 for a small bottle)! They added service fee even though nothing was really done. The facilities were dirty. Avoid if you can.

was mostly disappointed by my experience here. the service was really poor- all of the food came out at different points, so the first person ate about 30 minutes before the last person at our three person table. the food also didn’t arrive with the sauces it was supposed to come with, so we had to wait additional time to flag down a server and get the sauces. the servers were also not apologetic about the meals coming out at different points. the food itself was also underwhelming, the bibimbap was fine but the kimchi pancake was burnt. the soju highball did not taste of soju at all and was very weak. maybe the service would’ve been better on a less busy night, or possibly they were understaffed, but overall i would not come back either way because the food was not good enough.

Firstly we booked at the wrong location and we had actually made a booking with their other restaurant around the corner but they were happy to accommodate us at this location instead. But it was all down hill from there. After being informed that there were some things on the menu that were out of stock due to "supplier issues", which I half expected to hear due to many other reviews on here complaining about the lack of choice. Upon scanning the QR code on the table to view the menu it was quite crazy to see how many options were out of stock, to the point where we considered leaving. The BBQ options were limited to either chicken or spicy pork belly - two of the highest markup meats on the menu, I might add. The drink options were also limited in regards to selection, with most wines and alcohol out of stock. But hey, I'm not a drinker so it didn't bother me. What DID bother me was the £4 price tag slapped on a can of coke from the fridge poured into a glass and the same price tag whacked on a glass of orange juice from the carton which would've cost 60p for a litre from Bookers. I understand a markup needs to be made but this place feels like a scam, and I don't say that lightly. The poor choice available even from the small plates makes you feel like a captive audience, having to order things you didn't really make the trip for at prices that just can't be justified. The quality was possibly the worst thing. Ok so we found some rice cakes and chicken, great, at least that was available! I'd rather they weren't either, chicken clearly from frozen with more batter than chicken. The rice cakes had the blandest sauce with some grated mozzarella dropped on top of it, still doing its best to actually melt. Our experience here felt like everything was geared towards margin and in a way that was hard to feel as though we weren't being exploited due to the limited menu. Maybe I would've understood that sometimes bad things can happen and we got unlucky, but not after reading other reviews. Change supplier, put some emphasis on quality.

Drove from Norwich (1hr 30ish mins) for Korean food as our brilliant Korean restaurant is off for the festive period. Very disappointed - was told on arrival that there was a meat supplier issue and things were out of stock. This turned out to be every beef dish and some pork/chicken. No noodles either. We ended up getting 3 small plates (veg mandu, ricecakes and fried chicken) and 1 Coke and 1 orange juice. This came to a staggering £41. Mandu was OK, deep fried. Fried chicken was OK - unsure if fresh. The real disappointment was the ricecakes. If anyone has had this dish before then you know how delicious it is. The ricecakes were presented well however the actual product was not. It appeared to be what you can cook at home with kits - very small ricecakes and no where near as soft as I was expecting it to be. The sauce aswell was not thick/sticky/sweet or spicy at all, just watery red sauce with basically no flavour. I was very disappointed. Atmosphere was ok, cosy, seats comfy - nice and warm. No issues with ventilation as only one table had the bbq on (doesn't surprise me that nobody else had bbq meat as ther was only 1 pork dish and the rest was chicken) Service was OK for us, but we did observe slow service for other diners. The only thing i can rationalise from this experience was that it's a chain restaurant for Korean food - what was I expecting? Although with a large international student population, was it fair I expected better? Do better. For Korean comfort food run by a Korean family, visit The kimchi Norwich and my review will make a lot of sense!

I ordered at this place as a pickup order. I got there and my food way still not done. So I waited 10 more minutes to only get food without utensils. I don’t know what I was meant to eat with so I then asked the guy who helped me if I could talk to the manager and he said they have no manager. Your customer service honestly sucks. Your staff is slow and they barely understand English. It’s very unprofessional of you which explains all the low reviews. Do better

Service staff seem lost and confused the food was expensive. The meat was from frozen and not fresh. The portions where average. No ventilation so be prepared for your clothes to stink. 10% service charge, dirty bathroom and you can see the dirty wash room out the back filthy filthy. I can not justify this place as compared to other Korean BBQ places I've left here with toilet problems and feeling sick.

Because of the novel idea of letting guests barbecue at their own tables in a small restaurant indoors, expect to leave smelling of smoke and grease. As they don't use traditional menus and rely on QR codes expect almost complete neglect from the staff. Wasn't particularly busy when we arrived yet drinks didn't arrive until half way through the appetiser. Mains was heavily delayed and when asking for the bill at the end we eventually gave up and went to the cash desk. I'm not a fussy eater and will generally eat anything but the mains of barbecue pork was virtually inedible as for the chicken' I would have had better quality in KFC. The seafood rice was quite nice though. Only redeemed feature was they admitted to the delay on the mains and gave us a 10% discount, without us having to complain.

VERY poor food from online. There was about 8 rice cakes and 4 fish cakes for £15?? and the sauce was watery? It's not a full portion of tteobokki and not how it is in store. Disrespectful. Can't get through to them on the phone to resolve. Plus the cucumber kimchi also tastes like it's been left in the fridge with the lid off, very weird and not their normal. Plus the pajeon was not crispy at all, very ubbery; again not their normal. How can you charge such premium pricing? So much for having a treat myself dinner, the opposite! :/ VERY disappointed. I want a refund. But again, no way to contact them.

Korean BBQ's are super-tasty, fresh, and interactive. I'd recommend one of the set BBQ meals from Yori, there's a selection of different meats, you can BBQ at your table, and if you speak nicely to the staff they will keep topping you up with lettuce and spices to make some great wraps. Great atmosphere, staff are fun, and food was fantastic. Like most places in Cambridge, there's no parking anywhere close, you'll have to walk or cycle here, but fully recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went in for lunch on a Thursday. Prime lunch time (1ish) we were the only diners. Half of menu was unavailable, of what I picked on menu my intake choice (despite showing as available) was also out of stock. Very disappointing. Despite ordering with partner my food arrived much before hers, my main arrived without rice and had to flag down server to give it after a lengthy wait. My dish was nice, if too saucy. My wife’s however was not good. It was lukewarm despite the longer wait. Had bits of eggshell in it. Service was appalling. Despite being the only diners we struggled to get the attention of the waiter. We had to ask for water and all meal accompaniments.

I got food poisoning here! On an overnight trip to Cambridge, I got the lunch menu and it turn out that the Kimchi was potentially mouldy. I did not eat anything else after this meal, and immediately felt pains in my stomach after one hour in the restaurant. The food handling by the staff was below average and could definitely cause cross contamination. Also, the bathroom is filthy and it looks like it hasn’t been properly cleaned in months.

We had dinner at Yori with my family. Overall, it was an ok experience. We ordered the beef selection for bbq. The meat was tender and the quality was decent. Couple downsides to the place is its quite small and the air ventilation isn’t enough. The tables are also quite small as we struggled to fit everything we ordered. Lastly, we were told that we had to leave after 1:30 hrs. I understand that there aren’t enough tables but after dropping almost £50 per person, I would like to sit and relax a bit more and not be rushed :)

Overall it was a very nice meal. We ordered a Korean bbq set to go along with 2 smaller dishes and it was really tasty and was more than sufficient for 2 people. The only reason I have given them 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is because the staff kept asking ourselves and others to keep the bbq hot plate temperature to low when I wanted it to be between medium and high. It just felt wrong to cook expensive cuts of meat at a low temperature where all the juices just leaked out and boiled the meat instead of have a nice colour and sear.

Very cute place. Enjoyed the food. The only thing service as its very popular nowadays the don’t give you physical menus you have to scan a bar code and order through your phone. I just don’t like this system. Also very difficult to understand some of the waiters (very thick indian accent) I myself am a foreigner with an accent. Had to ask my friends if they got what was said. Also requested a bill but been told to just relax and take our time. So we just waited for quite a while. Food was very nice and tasted fresh.

We used to come to Yori quite often when it was opened and this time I was looking forward to visit. Sadly, it was quite disappointing. The prices went up quite a lot whilst simple side dishes, usual for Korean restaurants in Korea fully disappeared. It was absolutely quiet in the restaurant and Indian music was playing at the back. Though Bibimbap I ordered was cooked up to standards, but the real Korean atmosphere I used to love was not there, sadly. I hope next time when I come it will be same Yori I used to come to some time ago.

Great food... fresh, very tasty, fair few options to choose and the Korean bbq was fun. Udon, bulgogi, fried chicken. Tried the mixed meat platters to bbq. Only gripe was small place and despite spending a lot (about 300 between 4 people) felt a little rushed out especially given we were cooking it ourselves. But definitely go back and try some none bbq dishes.

Currently staying at a hospital, so this was our second time ordering from Ẹkọ Kitchen via Uber Eats. The first time, we ordered ayamase and rice. It tasted really nice and we glad to see that it came with fried plantain. However, we found the rice portion to be a little small, so we paid SIX POUND STERLINGS for an extra portion of PLAIN BOILED RICE and we're very disappointed to see the tiny portion that arrived.... Such a shame... Apart from that, the ayamase sauce is a fair amount and tastes good.

Great independent coffee house. We had a great pit stop here whilst visiting Cambridge. The cakes were lovely, place was very clean and every order was served with a smile.

Diciembre de 2024 Nuestra segunda vez a Aromi y no decepcionó de nuevo. El personal es absolutamente en el balón, amable cortés y muy muy amable. La comida solo podemos decir WOW. Tan delicioso y fresco preparado mientras esperas y es simplemente delicioso. Definitivamente vale la pena intentarlo si aún no lo has hecho. Por supuesto.
