If you like Korean cuisine, this is the place to be. The staff is wonderful, and the food tastes great. Bhushan brought out the inner child in me by giving us the choco pie.A big shoutout to Bhushan. I'm definitely coming back!!

Food is okay when you finally get some to the table, but……. Booking for 7pm, allowed into the restaurant at 7.10. Can we look at a menu? No, scan the QR code but no connectivity, so very difficult to view the menu. When you finally do order you wait a while and then food comes out at random. Don’t bother ordering a meat dish and rice to accompany, the rice comes out quick and you might get your meat dish 15 minutes later. We had a large group across several tables, bills were massively mixed , not kept clean. Simply a very frustrating experience and not at all enjoyable.

Where to start? Our friends booked here for a meal, we turned up and apparently the booking wasn’t there, despite our friend having the screenshots of the confirmation. We were sat on the ground floor, squeezed in with other guests with barely any room for the waiting staff to pass. We were not given the menus and asked to use the QR codes on the tables. When asked to give us the physical menus, a waitress reluctantly gave them to us (didn’t want to start but we pointed out that other people had it). When it came to ordering, no one was showing up and had to hunt down for the waitress. When asking whether we could order, they rudely said that we had to use the QR codes on the table (which bear in mind forces you to pay service charge!) and we demanded to order to a human. Food eventually came and it was ok, nothing special and certainly not up to the standard the restaurant pretends to have (apparently it’s the Korean bbq restaurant voted in 2023). It was a strange and frustrating experience. Definitely will not go back.

We got spicy squid and kimchi stew. Spicy squid was great actually but Kimchi stew was just disappointing. It had lots of meats inside but it was just greasy and not the kind of stew you would think of.

It wasn’t too great I’m afraid. The belly of pork was dry and inedible, the bbq’d chicken was pretty similar. My noodles just looked like super noodles with a bit of chopped veg and chilly. The fried chicken wings were good though and were not at all greasy and the dumplings were OK.

I would strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant if you have any specific dietary requirements or allergens. I went for lunch, and you must order using a QR code. I had never been to this restaurant before, so I wasn't familiar with the dishes/Korean food. None of the dishes on the lunch menu at this branch had a description next to them. I could see a few tofu/vegetable dishes that weren't explicitly listed as vegetarian/vegan, so I asked one of the waitresses if she could tell me if the 'soft tofu jiggae' was a vegetarian dish and clearly stated that I myself am a vegetarian. She said she would check with the kitchen, and came back and told me it was vegetarian. I asked what was in the dish, and she said it's a tofu stew with an egg on top. I ordered the dish through the QR code system, requesting to have mine without egg. The dish arrived, but when I was a third of the way through eating it, I realised there were three variants of seafood (octopus, squid rings, and something I couldn't even identify) at the bottom of the dish, that had been hidden by the tofu that sat at the top. As somebody who has been vegetarian for eight years and had never consumed this kind of seafood before, I felt disgusted and upset. I spoke to the waitress who had originally told me it was vegetarian, but without saying anything to me she went and brought over another waitress. The second waitress didn't take me seriously, asking me if I wanted something else to eat which I declined seeing as you can't trust what you will receive. She also offered me drinks, which I declined. She didn't seem to realise that offering me more food was not going to solve the problem, and came out with the excuse that the waitress who told me it was vegetarian was a new employee. I've worked in hospitality and this is no excuse at all - are we to risk receiving the wrong food every time a restaurant employs a new member of staff? I left, and after this the two other people I had been dining with had another conversation with some of the waiting staff and they learnt that this error was the fault of the waiting staff and not the kitchen. The waitress I asked did not actually go and check with the kitchen if the dish was vegetarian, she was on her way to do this then another waitress told her that it was vegetarian and that she didn't need to check. We believe this was the second waitress who spoke to me. The people I was dining with were told they would be sent the contact details of the manager for me to take the conversation further if I wanted to, but two days later we have not heard back - highlighting again how they are not taking anywhere near serious enough. This was distressing enough for me as a vegetarian, but seafood is a common allergen and somebody could have ended up seriously ill or worse from the very same mistake had they been in my position. There was an option for you to include any allergies you have when submitting your order using the QR code, but allergens are not explicitly listed on the menu - it gives you incredibly limited information. On top of all of this, the service was poor all round - with dishes coming out at very different timings and poor communication even before the incident with my dish occurred. Needless to say, I will not be returning to a restaurant that seemingly has no care or respect for individuals' dietary requirements.

Had dinner on 3rd May 2023. We were greeted by Lisa, who was extremely helpful and wonderful. We needed to have a quick dinner as we needed to be at musical in less than 40 mins. Lisa was super helpful and checked with the chef if we could get our dinner fast. And they did. We quickly got our orders, and Lisa made sure that she checked with the chef again so that they could expediate our food quickly. The 된장찌개 (dwengjang jiggae)was delicious and had deep flavour while the 김치찌개 (kimchi jiggae)was ok. But we had a wonderful experience, thanks to Lisa. Would.come back again for the BBQ.

Despite reading loads of good reviews on google, our meal was extremely disappointing. I will not be going back. The Bibimbap was served in a luke warm clay bowl and there was very little beef in it. The Korean BBQ pork belly was dry and tasteless. The seafood pancake had no crispiness to it but was heavy and stoggy, and the chicken balls on the chicken platter were hard and dry. The main course came at different times so we could not enjoy our mains at the same time. It wasn't overly cheap. Worked out to be around £20-30 per head. Normally when we go out for Korean, we leave nothing. At Yori's we left a bit of everything.

This was the second time I had gone to this restaurant. For some reason, the first time was the best and that is why I returned. But this second time, the food was not up to much. Lets just say I ate it as I was hungry. I think I would have enjoyed a Macdonald’s more and at less the price. I like Korean food, but I think this has been so simplified it can not be recognised as such. Mores the pity. The place was also full to the brim and you had to eat and go so quickly. For the amount that we paid, it would have been nice to have at least had the time to finish my pot of tea. There will not be a third visit.

We needed a quick meal before we went to the theatre and Yori did not disappoint. We struggled with the on line ordering and couldn't find what we saw on the menu outside. My partner ordered barbecued chicken and I order a seafood pancake. My partners choice was amazing mine, I wasn't so keen but the complimentary starters filled me up. The service delivered attentively by Lisa, who was aware we had a tight deadline and needed to be fed and watered and out. We will definitely try Yori again.

Food was good however they were out of all fried chicken dishes except wings, service was poor, half of our order was forgotten while waitresses were standing around, no one checked on us throughout our entire meal and no-one came to clear our plates or ask how the meal was at the end having to ask for attention throughout. Gratuity was included in the bill also which considering how poor the service was, was another turn off.

As soon as we got there they didn't have our reservation. I showed email confirmation and the lady said "sometimes our manager doesn't write them all down"... great professional start. Restaurant is very small but they seated us in 5-10 minutes. Food was served very quickly... even before our drinks. Food was quite warm but not piping. All arrived at different times too, my noodle dish came about 10 minutes before my boyfriends chicken, and then he had to wait another 5 mins for rice. Our booking email stated we had the table for 1.5 hours... so was a lovely surprise when we were told just 1 hour into our booking that they had people waiting and needed to leave. We quickly paid the bill and left. Toilets were also very tiny and not particularly clean. Floor was soaking etc. Food was okay but definitely won't be back. Not a great first Korean BBQ experience

We have been here on a previous occasion and really enjoyed the food, particularly the fried chicken - so booked again for a birthday meal with friends on a Saturday. When we arrived, there was a lot of hassle with another table who either did or didn't have a booking - the hostess did not acknowledge us at all, and when I asked about our booking (now 10 minutes past the time, despite our arriving at the door on time) she was rude to me. When she finally sorted the other table, we were told to still wait more time outside (by now 15 minutes after our booking). The hostess was again rude and fairly unapologetic. She also said we would not be charged service, yet when our bill came the service had been added. As you order through an app, the service was minimal, and it took ages to get our bill and make payment as well. When we were finally sent upstairs, the table still wasn't ready. We booked a table for 5, yet the 5th seat was in the thoroughfare of the dining space upstairs so we could not sit comfortably. Despite arriving at only 7:30, many dishes (including fried chicken, which we came for!) where sold out. Finally, the toilets were unclean and very wet. The food we ordered was good, but we won't bother coming back - there are plenty of other good restaurants in London.

First of all, I have to dedicate at least part of this review to the Dak Gung Jang dish. Succulent and crispy chicken bites blanketed with an addictive, sweet and spicy sauce- it was the best fried chicken I have ever had. The free side dishes were a nice surprise, the bibimbap and udon we ordered were also perfectly tasty. The scallion pancake was okay, but lacking in scallions funnily enough. Most of the servers were also all right, although I have to deduct marks for the wait despite having a reservation. The waitress also offered no information or reaction when I told her this so I was left to hope and assume that we would not be forgotten.

Overall, I'd give our visit (7 ppl) about a 4.5/5. First and foremost, the food and service were both excellent for the most part. We did wait about an extra 10 minutes beyond our booking time but our waitresses Ava and Charlotte were brilliant and made up for it. Charlotte did have to be reminded of the complimentary appetisers and the dipping sauces for the BBQ but she was overall lovely and super accommodating. The food was delicious but we ordered another portion of garlic mayo fried chicken at the end which arrived not lukewarm but plainly cold. Upon returning the dish, our fried chicken arrived hot but it was clear that it was just microwaved. The issue with microwaving cold fried chicken is that it does not have the crisp of freshly-made fried chicken, it was unfortunately soggy, barely edible and just an unfortunate closure to a really nice dinner otherwise. A last addition, although the waitress tried to play it cool, the kitchen staff that returned the microwaved soggy fried chicken was clearly pissed off, might not be the best idea to do show that (conflict) in front of guests. Overall still 4.5/5 (thumbs up)

Dropped by for a quick lunch with a friend wanting a hot option for lunch and being a huge fan of dim sum. Ordered the lunch time option of a basket of dim sum, crackers and sticky rice. It was ok and did the job of filling me up, but I was not particularly impressed given the overall blandness of the food and for the price paid, a smaller portion than I would expect. The dim sum also felt overcooked and lacked the springy firm quality to the dough. This was particularly surprising given how it's owned by Ping Pong, who I would expect to be a bit more exacting with standards. I would not be returning and would rather spend a bit more time and money in a proper dim sum restaurant.
