Yong Sheng Chinese Takeaway in Wellingborough

Thoroughly enjoyed munching on the munch box, munching the munch box really satisfied my munchies. Spring rolls were nice and springy and gave the meal an extra spring which was welcome. The sweet and sour was both sweet and sour which really was great and what i was hoping for when i ordered sweet and sour because i ordered sweet and sour hoping for both sweet and also sour tastes. The crispy chilli beef was crispy and that was good because i ordered it crispy because it said crispy chilli beef. It had a hint of chilli with the crispy beef which i enjoyed and that’s why i ordered the chilli beef and and overall i enjoyed eating the crispy chilli beef. The king prawns were nice and big which must be why they were called king prawns because king usually means big so that’s why i ordered the king prawns and when the king prawns arrived i was happy with the king prawns. The prawn toast was nice, it was pieces of toast with prawn on it which was good as it said prawn toast and i fancied prawns on toast so when i ordered it and the prawn was on the toast that made me happy Chicken chow mein was noodles but i don’t know where the chow or the mein was but oh well it was still nice and on the bright side it still had chicken in it. Overall 10/10 would order again, many thanks to both yong and sheng.

Honestly the most amazing Chinese I’ve ever had, ordered a few times now and it’s honestly never disappointed, our go to Chinese! I would highly recommend!

Thought I’d give this place ago, let’s just say it got delivered it got tasted and it got binned never again. Plain chow main just utter rubbish, duck looked like it been in a blender.

We ordered various dishes and again lemon chicken was tough. This has happened the last and the time before, my husband took it back immediately. The chicken balls also had very soft batter. Dreadful - will not use again

I am so impressed! I don’t leave reviews often but I am so shocked, in a good way. It was my first time ordering from here, I ordered way more than my ‘usual go to’ and yet it was much cheaper. From the point of ordering to it arriving at my house, it took 16 MINUTES!!! We opened the bag to find there was free prawn crackers, fortune cookies and spring rolls, I thought at this point it’s too good to be true, but honestly the food was amazing. I definitely won’t be going anywhere else x

I've been to good and bad chinese takeaways. I found that the foods always piping hot. And tastes good. With enough to feed 4 people for under 30 pounds.

Fast delivery and food was good!

Ordered our food , paid by cash as they don't accept card payment. Food was cooked in front of us and we left within 5-10 minutes. Meals were still piping hot and tasted great . Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Sorry. But just had the salt box. It's not worth the 12 pounds they charge they should pay me to try a eat.

I have used the take away delivery service for years but last week they got the order wrong and when I contacted them said they were sorry but refused to deliver/exchange the items they had got wrong!!! Latest order last night and the containers of food were only half full and when I contacted them I was told I could return the food for a refund otherwise that was it!!!! I will never use them again and suggest you think twice about using them, they were great but have gone downhill.

Ordered food for takeaway. Had a few dishes and shared with my daughter. Directly after eating, daughter had bad stomach and I was violently sick. Extremily disappointed

Absolutely brilliant the best Chinese I have ever had large portions and friendly staff

It's ok but only takes cash.which is irritating if you only use your cards.I ordered my meal and said I would find nearest cash till and be back in five minutes.I returned in five mins and they had not bothered to prepare meal and waited another ten mins. Grrr.

I went all the way from Leicester to try this place out today. And loved the food we had salt and peppercorn chicken wings and crab claws in bread crumbs . Mains delicious king prawns in black bean sauce with egg fried rice and thai chicken curry . They were extremely caring and kind and gave me a little freebie! I loved the food and would love 😋. Very tasty good value for money and good quantity. Would love it if they had their place closer to home. Glad to have found this place. Best Chinese takeaway in Wellingborough. I'm not normally a fan of Chinese food but yong sheng is beautiful. The food is cooked in front of you (if you're in the takeaway, not so much under covid rules) so you know that it's going to be good and exactly what you ordered. The staff are lovely and friendly. I would definitely recommend yong sheng. The chicken balls are amazing

They got my order wrong and would not come back out as they were to busy and they offered a discount next time I ordered. I rang 2 days later to which she laughed at me and did not honour the discount offered. Terrible way to treat regular customers, customer list for life
