Yokattara Sushi in Croydon

Really good sushi. We always go into central london for sushi but honestly this is one of the only local take away joints that is of an equal standard. The sushi is super fresh, you can see them making it. I’m surprised by the odd negative review and can only assume it relates to the hot food (noodles/rice etc) which is not what I would order from a sushi restaurant. Lovely fresh sushi, I’m a massive fan of the sashimi, mango tango and seared salmon rolls. Highly recommended.

Really poor tasting food. My wife had the Spicy Pork Belly Udon. She said it was plain and lacked any flavour at all. She was really disappointed with her dish. The sushi was also bad. Worst we've had from a takeaway. We ordered a variety of sushi and all were disappointing especially the Volcano which wasn't cheap! We spent over £30 and left short changed. Will not be going back ever again!

The family really enjoyed the Udon, with fresh ingredients and chunky noodles, and the Chicken Gyoza were a real hit - we'll be sure to go back and buy more for home. Friendly, fast service, and a personal touch for this vegetarian where I was introduced to the various options, including an incredibly realistic-looking vegan salmon. The Chicken Katsu Curry was also great, and very filling. Will go again, highly recommended.

Worst ramen I’ve ever had in my life. They literally just chucked raw noodles and veggies into hot water and delivered it to me (I ordered takeaway) Udon was raw, Pak Choi was raw, mushrooms were raw, pork was cooked but incredibly dry, also extremely thin pieces. I wouldn’t usually go in this much on a food place but you’re literally selling yourself as a Japanese restaurant and you can’t even get the ramen right. Insane The curry is okay, bit bland but much better than the ramen and I do appreciate that they put potato and carrots in the curry

We have been in several times for bubble tea and it is the only one I’ve ever finished! Really good tasting tea. They have a wide range of products and will try their sushi etc. in the future

We have order CLASSIC PARTY PLATTER, it was fresh and very tasty. The box contains: 52 pieces 8x salmon maki 8x tuna & cheese maki 8x avocado maki 8x salmon california uramaki 8x furikake tuna 6x salmon tartar gunkan 6x surimi gunkan edamame Very friendly and nice staff! Definitely I can recommend it that place.

The place is looking fabulous, clean and well run. Staff very friendly and food delicious. Chicken katsu curry the best !!! They offer very tasty homemade desserts

Very nice sushi and gyoza. A bit on the expensive side for products I took off the shelf for take away but extremely tasty. There are a few small tables to eat inside but it doesn’t seem like somewhere you’d go for a sit down meal. Service was friendly.

Excellent sushi, super fresh and very tasty. Service was also very great, the lady at the counter was very nice. I highly recommend it!

Just thought we'd try this new sushi place but were disappointed. The food was delivered quite quickly so we doubt it was freshly prepared which is the whole point of this kind of meal. My chicken katsu special roll was OK but the "roasted" almonds were dry and burnt; my prawn gyoza were wrinkled, the casing was hard and dry. My wife's "volcano" was better but there were so many ingredients that none stood out. We also had both the ordinary and spicy edamame beans, again not particularly fresh and the spicy ones which were 50p more simply had a bit of chili flavoured salt. All in all a disappointment, especially with Deliveroo's charges and we won't be going here again, a similar freshly prepared meal in the local Sainsbury is half the price and twice the value.
