Very poor. Don’t advertise 2 for £20 when you then halve the portions of the meals. Cheap gimmick which just makes your restaurant look low class. I’d have rather paid double for 2 decent meals as opposed to being duped into a promotion which is a complete lie as the meals advertised are half the size of their usual portion, therefore it’s a fraud promotion. Wouldn’t order again as this wasn’t enough to feed one, let alone two people.

Yo! is my favourite place to eat and I came here for my birthday with a group of friends to enjoy dinner together, we were greeted by a very unfriendly looking woman who asked if we were okay when initially approached, she mustn’t have heard our responses but proceeded to then ask us again in a very rude tone and generally just had a horrible look on her face the entire time we were there which was off putting while trying to enjoy our food.

Attended the Sushi school sessions that they run fortnightly. Even though I was the only one the chef made sure it was an excellent session and really knew what he was talking about. Thankyou for the amazing lesson James, was well worth the wait of being able to go. Also left with an amazing amount of rolls for the price and time.

We had a great time at Sushi School. We made a few different types and left with a takeaway box full! James the head chef was amazing, explained everything really well and making the sushi was so much fun. Would definitely recommend :) will be back for more sushi!

Lovely food, been going to yo sushi for years so it’s nice to have one outside of main city centre. Staff are nice & very helpful.

Devastating to see such a popular sushi chain lose its soul. I went here with my sister and my kids on one of the school strike days. Not only is this place eye wateringly expensive (nearly £4 for a soft drink) it has completely lost its soul. The staff don't actually wait on you. They sit behind a counter and bring you a drink. You have to pay on the spot for any dish or drink you order (as if you're going to do a runner) and sit and wait for it to appear on the conveyor belt. The whole atmosphere is dead. There are just bored looking waiting staff sitting behind a counter. I don't know why the food is so expensive. They don't do anything. It's more like a canteen. Overall, the food is mediocre at best. They've done away with the tiered pricing with dishes. Everything just seems to be £5 or more. The kids bento box is a bit of a disappointment. They can't have noodles, just bland veggie rice. They get maki (cucumber wrapped in rice) and a protein such as a chicken katsu. It's OK but... I brought my kids so that they could experience a vibrant interactive sushi restaurant. We could have just bought a box of sushi in Tesco, it was that exciting in comparison. Very, very disappointing.

I was a fan of Yo Sushi, but after that experience I’ll never go back. Waited an hour for certain dishes to come. In the end I had to ask staff where it was. Peoples dirty bowls kept going past our table on the conveyor belt which was a little off putting. Noticed a lot of people complaining in there. Yo Sushi 👎

Good for Japanese cuisine with friendly staff. Great selection of food with plenty of small plates to mix it up.

You know what you’re getting with yo sushi! Good food, delivered promptly and at affordable prices. This place is no different and the staff were really accommodating.

Ordered thru deliveroo, they accepted my order just to then find out they are temporarily closed and they took my money! I can’t even get a refund.

Delicious Tonkotsu Ramen, black garlic oil and Mirin Beef Rib. I’ve not had a beef tonkotsu before so this was a nice Dish to try out. The garlic oil gave a deep flavour to the soup. The beef was tender and combined well with all the various ingredients in the bowl. I found the servers to be welcoming and smiley.
