I met with my friends for a birthday. Waitress was a bit moody. Maybe she was tired or something else but it effects your mood also. She showed us a bar stools but we said nicely to be seated on one of the regular table and there was an empty one. She called her manager. Then manager offered us that table after cleaning. She cleaned by herself and she was soo hospitable, friendly. She took our orders and asked how was our orders during the meal. Orders was great, especially ramen portion was so satisfying.

The staff were friendly enough but the service was a bit slow. They ordered the wrong dish for me and I had to wait for so long to get it that my partner had almost finished his. Admittedly, they deducted 15% off the bill and apologised profusely. It's not a cheap place to eat and I'd have expected quicker service.

I have been going regularly to Yo in for the past 3 years and always enjoy the food and the service there. I visited recently and was told that they were about to close down which is very sad for me and my family as I am always looked after well. I would recommend anybody to go to the shop to experience it before they shut it down. There are two young boys who work there and they always treat me and my family so good and main reason we always try to come back as much as we can as they make us feel at home. Very sad to see it closing down. Will definitely be going one more time before it shut.

Me encanta Yo Sushi, así que pensé que me daría un capricho y me iría a ver a Yo Sushi en Kensington durante mi hora de almuerzo. No he estado en esta sucursal antes y definitivamente no volveré. Inmediatamente me sentí no deseado e inoportuno en el momento en que crucé las puertas. La camarera se limitó a señalar algunos asientos y me senté. Estuve esperando un poco solo para obtener un menú y cuando pedí ver un menú, muy groseramente (en su tono de voz) me dijeron que esperara. Ten en cuenta que realmente no estaba ocupado en ninguna forma. Una vez que tuve un menú y supe lo que quería pedir, cortésmente le pedí a la camarera que aceptara mi pedido. Se detuvo en seco, dio un suspiro profundo muy sarcástico y luego tiró todas sus cosas (ropa sucia y esta cosa de basura) en mi mesa. Realmente no me hubiera importado si solo me pidiera que esperara un momento cortésmente, en lugar de hacerme sentir realmente incómodo. Recibo Yo Sushi en casa (área de lectura) regularmente, así que ordené mis habituales. Conseguí el Avacado Maki que estaba bien, pero definitivamente no parecía tan fresco como de costumbre. Sin embargo, mi Tofu Katsu Curry no estaba realmente fresco. El tofu generalmente es suave y se rompe más fácilmente, pero el tofu estaba tan seco que dificultó su separación. This a great restaraunt and is really cool especially because they put different dishes on a conveyor belt and the dishes pass by your table. You can take them when you want. There is also a menu which you can order off of. Great food, service and atmosphere. I reccomend it!

Yo Sushi is still great But this branch is the worst I’ve ever been to Food was awful ... and even though it was quiet (it used to be packed so that says something) the staff were slow and really moody. It was like I was bothering them asking for a drink and it took ages to get menus. So rude staff and terrible food (at this branch) ...... what a combination I still go to you sushi just not this branch. Shocking really

Afternoon. Just a couples of table. The waitress showed me the tables I could use but after more than 10 minutes nobody came to take the order. I tried several time to catch the attention of some waiters. One of them said to wait....but forgot. When finally the waiter took the order he was unfriendly and without interest about his job. Maybe they could even sit on the conveyor belt few glasses of tap water or beer :-D In my opinion the pieces of uramaki (roll with rice outside) are thinner than usual so the piece of sushi break immediately when you take with chopsticks.

Popped in here for quick lunch & what a mistake. AVOID at all costs. First the staff are atrocious, rude and have no remote concept of what customer service is, or any English. I was charged 2.90 / or 3.90 for a can of drink, and after I had already ordered I saw literal flies in the restaurant, not to mention that the blonde girl at the checkout literally threw the fork down on the table instead of having the basic manner of handing it to me. 10 minutes after leaving the place I feel really dizzy & dosoriented and 100 sure its food poisioning. If something happens to me I will literally sue you. Shame on you people!! There is a reason why this place is permanently empty

We went here after the Design Museum. We don't usually expect a lot from Yo Sushi but it's usually decent and it was a convenient place to eat. However, this is probably the worst branch I've ever been to. First off the service was lacklustre as best - the staff took ages to get to us and took ages to take any of our orders. The place was extremely hot, which always seems like a terrible idea when there are plates of raw fish going round and round. There was extremely loud Middle Eastern club music playing, which was extremely off-putting, and when I went to use the bathrooms they were extremely dirty, as were the stairs and corridors. The sushi was OK tasting, but far below the usual standard for Yo Sushi, I have to say that we didn't feel very good after eating. No food poisoning but we had that bad stomach feeling where your body is trying to flush out something that you just ate. Overall I would never come back to this branch, and I'd recommend you completely avoid it if you're in the area unless you like warm sushi, dirty bathrooms, and loud music.

Before a planned visit to the Design Museum very close by we had a late lunch at This yo Sushi branch. They were not busy but seemed short staffed. We waited awhile for service. We were told several times we would be attended to before our order was eventually taken. The food was delivered promptly. Addition drinks and dishes were difficult to order and took some time. The bill also was very slow in arriving. A bit disappointing.

Traditie om met mijn zus bij Yo Sushi te eten. Ook bij dit filiaal eerder geweest. Maar dit was drama. We zaten er wel 15 minuten voordat iemand een drankje kwam opnemen. Werden compleet genegeerd. Je kon wel 10x op de service knop drukken, geen personeel te bekennen. Dan de sushi. Het menu is veranderd. Maar niet ten goede! Sushi met een drets saus eroverheen. Onherkenbaar. Je weet eigenlijk niet wat je van de band pakt. Toiletten onpersoonlijk en naar in de kelder, unheimisch. Achter ons werden mensen kwaad aan een tafeltje over de service. Zaak zat lang niet vol maar vreemd genoeg has het personeel het druk met kennelijk belangrijker zaken. Sushi op de band heeft een tijd op de deksel staan. Veel bakjes met 17 en 18 uur erop, het was al bijna 19 uur...is dit normaal? Er waren ook schaaltjes met 21.30 erop namelijk. Hoop dat we morgen niet ziek zijn!!!!

Up to standard Yo Sushi restaurant really, perfectly good and fast service, it was Blue plate Monday so great value. Orders (squid and Katsu chicken) were cooked speedily. Service was good, I was in and out in 23 minutes! Great stuff when dining alone! I’ll be back, probably tomorrow night!

I have eaten here numerous times, never been more disappointed then tonight.... the place was relatively busy, not packed but a good number of tables occupied. One person was working the floor, and at least three in the kitchen. We sat down, and no one attended our table. I understand the place serves food on a conveyor belt, but drinks at hot items are not. After 15 minutes the waiter found time to come to us. We ordered drinks and hot food. This arrived eventually, after I had seen it sitting on the kitchen pass for almost 5 minutes. The katsu curry was very dark, almost black, and did not taste very nice. It just all felt very poor, from service to food. £60 later we left disappointed and hungry.... I think it’s time to find another place for our sushi cravings, plenty on offer on the high street.... we deserve better value for our money...,

Yo muy a menudo a esta rama yo sushi como es amable y la comida es estupenda. Soy local y me encantan para pescado crudo de vez en cuando. :) Me gusta este lugar porque es muy luminosa y tiene un ambiente positivo. Me gusta especialmente el personal muy agradable en el restaurante como Daniel y al parecer Jamilla. Siempre son muy amables y serviciales. También es un gran lugar para traer a los niños porque parecen disfrutar realmente de esta experiencia. Sin duda volveremos! Gracias!

When we arrived, it was fairly quiet despite being Sunday lunchtime. We ordered quite a few hot dishes and it took at least 30 minutes before the first one came. We then had to chase some dishes 3 or 4 times. We were told that the kitchen was busy but it did seem as though there was a mistake as other tables around us were being served. The manager was great and gave us a couple of dishes for free, which did go towards making us feel better. He was also endlessly apologetic. Whilst he was great, the rest of the service g staff could have communicated the delay better. Shame, as the food was delicious.

I lunch here often but find the quality of the food very variable no doubt depending on which cooks are on. On this occasion I had the worst tempura I have ever had but this is not always the case here. The sashimi was above average however. The service is somewhat similar - it just depends on the day and how busy they are.

As a first time visitor to Yo Sushi, I was really impressed with my recent visit to the Kensington branch - despite being a Friday night, it wasn't that busy and we were seated and served very quickly. We had 9 dishes and a large Asahi, for £30, between two of us (as there is a current sale for £2.80 a dish). The highlights were the takoyaki, the surprisingly delicious and addictive furikake fries and the tofu katsu curry - recommended.

I love this place. Very nice sushi restaurant on High Street Kensington that is part of a large chain well known to everyone. The kitchen and chef staff are great, and the regular waiter/waitresses are really helpful. When Robert is working, you especially know that things are going to go well... he really is a special talent and one that Yo Sushi must be delighted to have working with them. Highly recommend.

I'm going frequently to Yo Sushi in High Street Kensington and I can say that is my favourite place from all.The restaurant should be considered an example for the other ones. In this place I'm always treated with a friendly respect from the staff thing that I love and makes me go more often there.The food is excellent and always looking very fresh. The conveyer is always full of food and plenty to choose all plates looking exactly like in the pictures. I know that one of the leaders of the restaurant is Robert and I would like to say that he is doing an amazing job, I'm visiting the restaurant for a long time and I can say that he is doing a great job and I can see great great improvement in the restaurant. Great job Robert !!!I'm always welcomed there and I will go more often than I was going. Many thanks for the beautiful moments spended in Yo Sushi from High Street Kensington. I recommend to anyone the restaurant is a great deal for a great time.

We went there on a week day in the evening, it was quite full. It has an American diner interior style. Then plates started rolling on the belt. The choice was mediocre, food looked old but then tasted ok, far from enjoying it. We ordered other hot dishes but they were also not great, beef was overlooked. The service was great, very friendly and fast. It's an ok place to eat on the go but they really need to do something about the food taste!

Generally a fan of this chain, however very unhappy with the service here. Waited ages for two dishes. Others tables that ordered after were getting served the dishes we were waiting for. When we questioned this we were told it wasn't an issue and when the dish turned up the wait staff said 'see'. Still hungry but going somewhere else to eat.

Yet another branch to cross off the list, it has gone down hill badly! I went about 6pm and there were only a few choices in the belt which meant I had to order all but one of my dishes. The hot food I ordered took an age to arrive and when it did it wasn't exactly hot, which was confusing as there were only 4 tables taken so they were not exactly rushed off their feet. One dish arrived burnt, I would have asked for a replacement but I knew that it would mean an extra wait. Having to press the attention button so many times to order or to ask where my order was meant I got the look of "what now" from the staff! Such a shame as only a few months ago I gave this branch a good review. Will now avoid!

Both fiancé and I are both usually fans of the chain however both feel utterly let down by this one. Service was absolutely atrocious. Acknowledged by staff but then left to seat ourselves, will point out that the restaurant was pretty much empty apart from a few other tables that had a few seated. Once seated, we ordered a jug of tap water that took half an hour to arrive and only then arrived since we had to ask our server again since she'd forgotten. You'd think it'd be hard to forget a simple order in a empty restaurant. Our next server was a French woman who did give off the vibe that she was an ex teacher who'd been given the difficult class one too many times. Was made to feel completely unwelcome. What struck me as the worst thing though was how there was two people seated down across from us which was fine and all until at least two of the servers sat down with them (in their uniforms) and another server seemed to have a good gossip with us sitting right there still waiting for a forgotten order! The button you press on your table makes a small noise which interrupts the music playing to alert a server of you wanting assistance - though even when this happened, we were still ignored and it sometimes took two presses of the button for us to be seen. In a pretty much empty restaurant and our table being the only one who's button had been pressed, it gives off the vibe that the servers just don't care. Saw one of the chefs undoing an earring and presumably rubbing his ear with the same gloved hand he then went and prepared food with! As a chef myself, a simple hand wash and change of glove would have been a quick course of action to prevent anything spreading. Ended up leaving after three plates between us, (two plates of pumpkin katsu and one bowl of tofu curry) and were not even given a quick goodbye as all servers were too busy looking at their phones. Food was as good as usual in the chain but our French server admitted to most of the dishes being frozen from their supplier so this has changed my mind about the chain since they advertise freshly prepared dishes. If you love this chain, please avoid this restaurant. If the managers end up reading this review, please sort out your staff. Your good food is being let down immensely by an unwelcoming service team.

Sono stato a cena da Yo Sushi a dicembre. L'ambiente è molto carino, ricorda un po' i ristoranti nei manga giapponesi. Io e la mia ragazza ci siamo seduti ai tavolini; li ho trovati estremamente piccoli. Per mangiare ci sono due opzioni: aspettare che il rullo trasportatore, dove viaggiano i piattini di sushi, ti porti quello che desideri, o ordinare alla carta e attendere che i camerieri ti servano. Io, ogni volta che sono andato da Yo, ho provato il rullo, perchè in Italia è difficile trovare questo tipo di ristoranti; purtroppo però bisogna aspettare molto poichè non puoi sapere che tipo di piattini possano arrivare. Il cibo è molto buono, si sente che è appena fatto. I camerieri sono molto disponibili e gentili. Il prezzo è troppo alto: in due abbiamo speso 90 euro, mangiando abbastanza. Lo consiglio, ma preparatevi a spendere.

The service was particularly slow and my duck gyozo was far too crunchy and was not hot enough. Packed during lunch time (2PM). Were directed to a table quite fast but took forever to finally see our wanted dishes. Lack of variety in dishes so we ordered our dishes at the waitress. Average quality, defo not outstanding. Have had (far) better and more delicious sushi for far less at other restaurants tbh. If you have too much time on your hands and don't mind spending a buck, this is the right place to hang out. Otherwise I'd skip this joint and have a delicious sandwich or whatever rocks your boat somewhere else

I recently gave the Bond Street restaurant a 1 star review as it was awful, I have them a second chance hoping that it would be better if I went to a different location. Ok for vegans, though had to wait for long-ish bouts for vegan choices to come round, but then I guess they will cater for the majority who would want the fish/meat options.... So wasn't too bothered, at least there were a few vegan options. Ordered a couple of dishes that don't come on the conveyer belt. All very pleasant.Would go again.

I'm not a troll so feel assured when reading this review. I am a fan of yo sushi but this branch has no idea in terms of yo sushi's vibrancy like other yo sushi restaurants. Watch out for the female french waiter who comes across as the manager. Very rude and comes across as a ex teacher. The sushi is conveyor belt is not fresh. They get quite offensive if you tell them you want some fresh sushi to be made. I've been here a few times and i had the same bad experiences. You dont feel welcome. They dont remember you when you come back. And the waiter makes no effort to make you feel at home. The staff really needs training at this branch on how to give good customer service. If you want sushi i recommend eating at wasabi next to the underground. For something a bit upmarket, there is also a sushi place upstairs at whole foods which is ten times better and has a better vibe.

I love Yo! Sushi endlessly, never had a bad experience in my life and I go often to the one in Bluewater (Kent) and Intu Bromley (London borough). However experiencing this particular Yo! Sushi was upsetting indeed. We waited 20 minutes to be seated in a practically empty restaurant where we were greeted with a unenthusiastic awkwardness. The staff were painfully slow and more or less incompetent- I watched my food prepared and left on the side to go cold for 15 minutes (beating in mind there was one other table). For anyone who doesn't know, Yo! Sushi is a chain of Sushi restaurants with locations across London (and now the world). The concept is simple and fun - sushi (and other foods) travels around the restaurant on a conveyor belt, you pick what looks good, and you pay at the end based on the pile of plates you've collected. You can also order dishes directly from a waiter.The downside is that the sushi - particularly anything you pull from the conveyor - is average at best. This location in particular seems to suffer from slow turn around and service - our waiter went missing for long periods and seemed intent on pushing us toward dishes moving on the belt rather than those we wanted to order. They did seem to be doing a bustling 'take away' business so maybe that is this location's focus.But it is fun, bright, and cheery and it was Monday so the prices were (more) reasonable. But it is kind of sad that eating here made us long for the superior quality and service of their Heathrow location.

I'm a old lady. And I was so happy and surprised to see a face I recognised from Self ridges. The Manager Jamalia recognised me. It was magic. I came with my grandchild the food was perfect. The service excellent. And the top is to see Jamalia the same, smiling, attentive and a huge heart. I will come back because I know she's there.

A welcome addition to the eating places of Bromley. Limited to the opening hours of the Intu Shopping centre, it is still a great a place to go for a bite to eat. Obviously convenient parking due to location. Avoid going Saturday and Sunday around 12:1pm as very busy. Don't forget Blu Monday.There are a couple of items that are not on the menu in this Yo! Sushi, e.g. the crispy salmon skin, but the rest is great.What I like most is the attention of the staff, they are eager to please, smiley and very knowledgeable about their product. They will give you some good advice so don't hesitate to ask. The choice is yours like in any other Yo! Sushi. It is a fun place, it is good, and it is welcoming. Thumbs up!

We go here quite often as our kid loves the salmon nigiri taken right from the tiny moving belt. Sushi is so and so, same goes with the tempura. Sweets are good, especially the cream cheese mochi and our kid loves the custard dorayaki. Service is extremely average, they often forget parts of your order.

The idea was launched in London about 17 years ago in their first restaurant in Soho. The idea of ordering anything you want that is passing on a conveyor in front of you is amusing. You know the price of each dish according to the color of the plate of each dish. But the portions are small, and it is so easy to order food that you risk having a bad surprise when you get the bill.The food is fine, but never exceptional.

I went for a walk in Holland Park and on the way out in Ken High Street decided to pop into this place as i was hungry. The sushi on the conveyor belt was ok but the chicken katsu curry from the menu was very good as well as the duck gyoza although the cooking was a bit slow. Service is good and the staff very helpful.

Still good and food fine but service lets it down. Let's face it, the food comes to you so how can service be an issue but order a dish off the menu and you may wait a while. Last time we had to chase up three times the order clearly never having got through. Same thing previous time we ate here - manager offered a discount. It's still a decent place to eat but a bit more staff training wouldn't half make a difference.

We dined at 7 pm on a Saturday at Yo Sushi on High St Kensington. Although the place was not full we felt they took a while to take our order, and then bring the hot food. Cold platters roll on the conveyor belt so you just pick what you fancy. Variety improved as time went by so my suggestion is, go round 8 pm. The large bowls were very nice.

Je suis allée au Yo Sushi au mois d'août et j'ai bien aimé le concept des plats qui tournent sur un tapis. Chaque bol a une couleur qui reflète le prix et à nous de prendre ce qui nous tente. Nous pouvons également commander un plat à la carte mais c'est long, nous avons dû relancer les serveurs au moins 2 fois. Néanmoins, les plats sont bons et c'est très amusants.

we thought we‘d end our long day out with some sushi. We ordered one miso aubergine bowl, one fried salmon sushi roll and one sushi plate. the aubergine tasted completely like oil, the miso sauce was too salty, the rice not eatable. the salmon in the deep fried roll was completely dry. the edamame that came with the sushi plate were completely unsalted!! all in all NOT food that was enjoyable!!

Overpriced mediocre sushi. Slow service. Good for lunch, but wouldn't consider a destination place. Some weird choice to have a desert area too which doesn't seem in keeping with the rest of the food offered.
