We went expecting a conveyer belt experience (kids like it) and were very disappointed with the lack of it in Yo kitchen. This was the reason we travelled to Yo. We have some nice sushi places locally and the adults generally prefer those venues. Anyway it was a treat for the kids.... So whilst we got over it quickly, we discovered that the menu was pared down and very pricey. £6+ for the gyoza and £8+ for four pieces of maki. The gyoza were much better than those at Yo - these were pan fried and with a beautiful sauce. However, there wasn't really a choice of good sushi (about 5 options). The salmon maki was made with cream cheese. It was all a bit westernised/fusion... So we didn't order any. Kids menu was good value and plentiful. Kids enjoyed it. The food we chose was good, bit I don't think we'll be returning. I'd rather go to a proper sushi house or a better Japanese restaurant. I'd rather have eaten at ITSU.

I came here because Yo! was not the usual type of restaurant I would choose. When we approached the entrance to the restaurant, a lovely lady sat us down and told us a waitress would be with us in a few minutes. Whilst waiting, I admired the decor which was very modern and sleek. After a few minutes, a lovely waitress named Hazel came and asked us how we were and she introduced us to the new YO! Kitchen concept. She gave us some recommendations and took our orders. We ordered the Katsu Curry Arracini to start with, as well as Yo!Fries and 2 Chicken Katsu Curries. Not long after, our food had arrived. I was amazed by how quick the service was. Hazel was very attentive, she offered to top up our jug of water and give us some side condiments such as wasabi, ginger and sriracha. I finished the meal pretty quickly as I was really hungry (and as it was so delish) but instead of leaving me sitting there, Hazel offered me a dessert menu for me to read. This is what customer service is! Hazel really made our experience and I WILL DEFINITELY return just because of her! The others were lovely too, but Hazel stood out as one to remember! To sum up, the experience exceeded my expectations. The prices were reasonable and so were the protion sizes, which are much larger than Yo!Sushi’s. Service was outstanding! Thank you Hazel!

The concept of YO! Kitchen is to lift the brand from a quick grab and eat reputation to a restaurant brand. A good idea. The Westfield branch is beautifully outfitted, the staff are attentive and exceptionally nice. The food is superb, a cut above the YO! Sushi offerings. I had Chicken Katsu curry and Popcorn Shrimp. My companion had the Kickin Salmon Roll and both were tasty and beautifully presented. The only negative was how to actually find this lost treasure in the Westfield Mall. It is tucked so far away, we had to ask several people how to find it and nobody knew. Look and ye shall find. It is worth it.

Was very disappointed with the food here. Ordered a tonkotsu ramen, which just did not have the depth of flavour compared to other ramen places in London. The noodles were so soggy they had basically disintegrated as well, which is not what you want in ramen. My partner had the miso cod, which was a small piece about half the size of my palm for £22, and did not come with anything! And was definitely not worth it in taste either. There are much better Japanese restaurants in London. The plus side the staff were really trying their hardest (maybe even too hard and over attentive).

My boyfriend and I eat out quite often, and this was honestly the most wonderful meal we have had in a long time - the food was all exquisite (the Korean chicken starter was to die for), the prices were good, but most of all the service was absolutely brilliant. Jodie in particular was so friendly, funny, and lovely - it really made our night meeting her and she made sure we were both very looked after! We are miles away from Shepherds Bush but if we’re ever back we will make a point to come in again- honestly so wonderful. Thank you so much! :-) Chloe & Rob

If you are looking for a place with excellent food, try this place. Great selection of food. We had crunchy California roll, salmon and heirloom salad, Japanese corndog and other few dishes ideal for sharing. Everything was so fresh and really well presented. Our waitress Jodie was smiling and helpful and in general the service was very good. The place was busy anyway the food was served shortly after being ordered.

After a busy day at Westfield we stopped here for some dinner as I'd seen the opening on Instagram. We were served very quickly and the staff were lovely. They explained how it was different from yo sushi (no conveyor belts!) and how many dishes we should order between us. We ended up ordering four small dishes and two large which was plenty for two people. The food came as it was ready which was nice. The katsu arancini is incredible and something new, and the old favorites like crispy squid, Korean fried chicken and yo fries were great. We also ordered ramen and cheese and pork katsu which was also really tasty. Everything was presented nicely and it felt really informal and cozy. It wasn't too noisy despite being in Westfield and we had a great meal. It also was reasonably priced so definitely worth a stop if you're in Westfield and want to try something different.

We expected everything to be on a conveyor belt like Yo! Sushi but it was more of a restaurant feel. Amazing food and decent portions!!

I recently visited the new Yo! Kitchen in Westfield white city. Being a big fan of the Yo! Sushi restaurants in general I had high expectations for this new restaurant and I was very impressed and pleased with the service I was shown. I was greeted by a really friendly man called Ryan who showed me to my seat. I then ordered my food which arrived promptly and all that I ordered was incredibly delicious I could not fault it. I urge anyone who is looking for incredible fine dining and staff to visit Yo! Kitchen, they will not be disappointed!.

Great service, stunning new concept, dim the lights and you could be in Mayfair. This is no ordinary Yo Sushi. Everything is new and improved. The squid was the best.
