Me encanta sushi sagano. Yo solía comer de allí al menos una vez a la semana cuando yo vivía en Londres. Personal amable y buena comida. El restaurante es bastante pequeña, así que es muy íntimo si decides comer en pero siempre me dan la mía para ir.

This local sushi place doesn't look like much, but the sushi is always fresh and delicious. Features some creative and very yummy rolls. The Udon noodle soup is also very good. Good value for money; a real local asset.

I live nearby and go here regularly. The food and service are both incredible. Try the snow crab shumai!

Cucina giapponese davvero buona,niente a che vedere con le classiche catene. Qualità del cibo alta, quasi tutto preparato al momento ,piacevole locale ,abbiamo preso un po' di tutto , due persone circa 80 pounds, non esagerato per i prezzi di Londra. Da assaggiare anche i vari antipasti come le capesante in una zuppetta, la tempura di gamberi e l 'insalata di granchio.

This is one of my very favourite restaurants in London. Amazing food, lovely atmosphere and great service. I really haven't got a bad word to say about this place.

Love this Sushi restaurant, we often order and have the food delivered however it is lovely small restaurant to dine in. Nice decor and very intimate. I think that it is great for either a party of friends or for a couple

While the food was OK, the nigiri tasted quite old. I'd recommend going for the rolls instead - they get the texture right (shame about the freshness though). Waiting over 2 hours for sushi when you live 1.3 miles away is tough to stomach. Being told it's '20 minutes away' and then waiting an hour is just poor service. I might risk going in person in the future, but don't order on a weekday night (don't even attempt the weekend).

The food took 1h 40m to arrive. Original time estimate was 45 mins. Quality was very mediocre. Rice was dry, eel dry, fish sliced very thinly.

Outstanding food. Going back ASAP. Had gyoza, steamed sea bass, black cod (as good as Nobu's), steamed crab dumpling things, tempura. Get in there!!

We went here for a colleague's leaving lunch. Everyone had either noodles of bento boxes. The restaurant looks great and the lady serving us and at the till was friendly. The prices were also low for the quality of the food.

I ordered a beef teriyaki which arrived "blue", not even close to being rare. It was essentially slabs of raw meat, less cooked than tataki beef. I called the restaurant and informed the lady on reception, who went to speak to the chef and someone else, and then told me that as I hadn't specified in the comments how I would like it cooked, it was cooked medium rare and left to cook further in the juices in transit. I told her again that the beef was not even rare, not fit for human consumption. She spoke again with the chef and after 5+ minutes came back to tell me that I needed to seek a refund from Just Eat, and next time I needed to specify how I wanted it cooked. Note that the user interface does not give this option. She was insistent that this was not their problem. I said her response was unbelievable and they shouldn't be blaming Just Eat for the quality of their food - I just wanted the meal that I'd ordered to be edible. Note that this is a £15.50 meal! She said she didn't care about Just Eat, and cared more about their loyal customers. I told her I had been a loyal customer, but no longer. It was truly an incredible experience. Something has gone very wrong at Sagano. Quite sad as I have had many good meals in the past.

Sagano has become my favorite restaurant of all time... The food is just mouth watering and the staff are just incredible; welcoming, caring, friendly, and just simply amazing (how a real family business should be!).Even friends in Japan were highly impressed with the offerings and photos that got sent to them!I would seriously recommend to anyone living locally or remotely to try at least once while they can......... it will turn into instant love :-D I just wish it was possible to go there everyday :-)

Unfortunately the quality of the fish is no good, not fresh and the portions are relaly small. could be better. good price but not value for money.

This is the second time they claim not to have received an order from Just Eat. Waited 1.5 hours, called them, declined they ever received them. They then admitted to Just Eat they did receive order but were no longer able or willing to fulfill it as were very busy. Will never go back to these guys again. Food isn't that great either.

The food was great quality, however, portions were small or at least seemed small as it took over 1.5hrs to arrive- we were so hungry when it arrived we needed more! Not only that, the food had gone luke warm so was disappointing as we could tell if we received it sooner it would have been much better

Big fan of this place, but they have an annoying habit of forgetting chopsticks and soy sauce, which can really ruin an expensive meal. The food is very good though.

Have eaten in at this restaurant before and it's OK but the food quality varied widely in this order, from very good starters to terrible mains - the teriyaki beef was pretty awful, and very expensive considering it was made with cheap, fatty, gristly cuts.

Very decent I thought. Not a traditional Japanese. Modern and fusion take of sushi. Good options on the menu. Delivery is 30 minutes quicker than expected time. Friendly driver. A little bit pricey in my opinion. Good experience in general though! Thanks Sagano :-)

This is our favourite local restaurant. Friendly, polite, quick service and the food is always super tasty. I order at least 2-3 portions of the gyoza every time. One is never enough. The kataifi prawns are full and flavour as well. My boyfriend really enjoys the salmon and avocado hand roll.A real delight and reasonably priced. The sake is also really good.Definitely give it a go, or at the very least order from their takeaway service. You won't be disappointed.

I never leave reviews but this surpassed my expectations. The nasudengaku, black cod and snow crab shui mai were sumptuous and felt restaurant made. Above average pricing but absolutely worth it.

The spicy tuna rolls actually made me make sex noises. Small and perfect. I love this place with all my heart. I will be going at least once a week forever. The staff are super nice, the vibe is chilled, but it's all about the food. Just try it and you'll see.

I ordered salmon nigiri. They ruinned putting wasabi on it between the rice and the salmon. didn't enjoy it at all because i hate wasabi

I had the salmon donburi which I have eaten in plenty of restaurants in the UK and in Japan. The rice was nicely seasoned and tasted great. The fish was fresh enough, but unfortunately the helpings were rather measly. The salmon was cut very thinly which was disappointing.We ordered gyoza which were nice enough, but there were only 4. I don't feel like these were value for money. The green tea had unlimited refills which is nice, though.Bizarrely, they had a bento lunch menu but many of the popular items were unavailable to order for dinner. A real shame, as bar food like kara age or katsudon would probably be big sellers.I can't fault the service at all, as the waitresses were very attentive and friendly. However it was 7pm on a Saturday night and the restaurant was very quiet, sooo....

Seems very expensive for the food - not bad quality but wasn't hot enough temperature wise. Also the portion sizes are very small - glad I ordered two mains... The delivery man wasn't carrying change , great way to get tips I suppose. He did return later to give me my change.

Arrived considerably later than quoted and when it did finally did arrive the side of the paper bag disintegrated when handed to my husband pouring two pots of miso soup all over hall carpet. Luckily rest of delivery survived. (Lids not put on properly we think) Sagano blamed delivery driver. Delivery driver blamed Sagano. No apology received. Reluctantly refunded the cost of the miso soup. V unimpressed.

My friend took me here after a long day at work. I have been dying for sushi for a long while now and was looking for something different from all the generic Japanese sushi places. It was my first time going to this restaurant and I have to say I was impressed from start to finish. I was greeted within 20seconds of entering. I was made to feel at home instantly. The restaurant was very quaint. A ideal place to go on a first date or small meet up. The waitress introduce herself. Her name was Jenny and her customer services skills were amazing. Jenny Helped with our selections while taking our orders. Jenny made a few recommendations, which were all lovely, especially the yellowtail and Jalopons. The prices were fair and well worth the purchase. The sizes of each portion ordered was suitable (not to much but not to little). Jenny made sure we were well taken care of the who time. I have never experienced this level of customer service before. I work in customer service's so this was very refreshing for me. To receive the level of service I give back to me. I will definitely be going again very Soon.10 star rating from me.

I guess they'll see me a lot in the future. So close to where I live that it might become my second kitchen. Food was great, just wish to be able to order some Japanese mayonnaise as a dip!

Food was absolutely delicious, but: 1) It took 30 minutes more than quoted to get here, and: 2) The portion sizes are TINY. We spent over £30 on food and it was barely enough to feed the two of us. Really not very good value for money at all.

So last Wednesday night I went to Sagano on Askew Road in west London near Hammersmith and Westfield and what a gem find this is in London. It was midweek and quiet all up the street but the atmosphere in Sagano was buzzing with life. The decor is very inviting and more than hints that what will come is the full on Japanese experience.I had checked the menu in advance on line and it's really, really impressive looking. Just use goggle images and search some of the images online of the dishes and you'll know what I mean! Website Just-eat gives Sagano five out of six stars. I couldn't find anywhere they gave six. Armed with this I headed down thinking I knew what I wanted.I thought because I was tired that I'd only have some miso soup, a starter or two and maybe some chicken katsu washed down with an Asahi. I even thought I'll just phone ahead and go collect it. I could have phoned ahead and had it delivered as they provide both delivery and collect if you phone in. Just goggle Sagano and you'll find it.Well it all changed once I was seated. My waitress Jenny came over and talked me through the sections in the menu. It's quite comprehensive and some nice little must-haves in there. This menu is like one of the worlds great cities; when you see it you know you'll have to back again and again to taste more.I told Jenny I was tired having been travelling late the day before and would probably not eat much and start with some miso soup then some sashimi; the tuna and I thought one other - there was everything from sea bass to yellow tail to scallops to mackerel to squid and eel and of course not forgetting salmon. Being tired I though I'd pick one later.But sitting there and looking around and seeing how the atmosphere among the other diners was so alive I knew I wanted to stay longer. I now no longer felt tired and just peckish, I was now wide awake and absolutely starving.So it all changed and poor Jenny my waitress was writing and then striking-through what I had just selected as I changed my selection then selected something else. There was so many good combinations to go for. Worrying that Jenny's pen needed more ink for the other customers and my order already was a page of line throughs I finally ordered. I am joking actually as there were no strike-through choices on my order because once I had the menu in hand I just went straight for it.I went for the tuna and sea bream sashimi - the sea bream had me back there the next day for lunch it's so good - I'll say that again IT'S SO GOOD. I accompanied this with one of their delicious Bento lunch boxes which are great value for lunch any day.Next I had the katsu salad which gave me my chicken fix. This overwhelmed me. Both in taste and size. There was so much of it I thought this must be a full breast fillet from one big chicken. The salad leaves were seasoned and after dipping my chicken in the sauce provided, the salad leaves were the perfect next mouthful.Made even nicer when washed down by the Asahi. Which there was more than one of but more of that later.There was to be no miso soup. I had changed my mind on that (which when I said this to the waitress she offered to give me the miso gratis if I really wanted it but I didn't) I opted instead for the Black Cod & Sweet Miso which when it came was bigger than I expected. How did I expect it to taste? On looks alone I expected good things. But what I got. What I got was simply sublime.There's no need to chase sublime black cod at Nobu. I've dined there and having had their cod I'd tell you come here to Sagano just past Hammersmith. The texture was like Nat King Cole himself. Unforgettable. Soft. Though velvety in touch. In taste indescribable. This is how cod should always taste. Here's Aristotle's Form. This is what makes one think cod is great. This was Great Cod.And the Asahi I had more of as this felt like a party that everyone was happy I had turned up. This was good. As I looked around and saw the variety of colours on other diners plates I felt myself smile. Such a great find was Sagano on a Wednesday night.Not wanting to leave I opted for dessert; normally the reserve of when dining with an other. I choose two scoops of ice cream and was bowled over by one of them which I had left to Jenny the waitress to choose. I'll leave the joy of discovery to you to find out.So I'd say get you need to get over here tomorrow, get over here on the weekend, just GET here and see why this place has the best atmosphere in Askew Road on a normal Wednesday night during the week. Great food, great staff and the location suits as the street is generally quiet of traffic except for pedestrians so it feels calm when you look outside.Definitely one to put in the phone Contacts list; I'll be putting it in my speed dial. A great dining experience.

I've been here 3-4 times with my kids (who love Japanese).We've always found it very good. High quality food, good service. It's quite small, so occasionally full.

The sushi and sashimi seems really top-drawer at this place (fresher than your average high-street japanese places, with really good quality fish). I love it for a healthy take-away lunch/dinner. The non-sushi menu is quite limited - which is probably a conscious decision on the part of the owners (more authentic this way!) - but I usually like a few non-sushi dishes to complement the sushi. The atmosphere for eat in isn't ideal (with take-away customers in the same area), but nice enough for a relaxed evening

Sagano restaurant is one of the best restaurant in shepherds bush. Their food absolutely amazing that you'll fall in love to it. I love their food especially spicy noodles. Restaurant is like atmosphere. Service is fantastic and parking literally outside. Why not you come and enjoy the food there bring your family and friends and enjoy your real time here.

I have tried a few horrid sushi in the area.Sagano has been the best by far and will definitely be my new local! got delivered 20mins early! Sushi fresh and good quality! Go for it! Crunchy Tuna roll was great! Downfall was I should have ordered 2 rolls instead if 1 as it was so tasty!

I must say that the food, menu and price used to be much better under the previous management. The name and deco remained the same after the new management bought over. However the menu has changed slightly. It is now very limited. Mainly sushi and sashimi. Portions are much smaller. Food is still good there. We used to dine at Sagano at least once a week but have slowed down since the menu is limited and the increase in price. Would recommend this place only if you have a craving for sushi.

Very disappointing, I did not receive the rice ordered, the sushi rolls had collapsed en route and the food was cold. I called the restaurant to complain and they couldn't do anything, your lines were closed. I won't use just eat or the restaurant again unless I receive some sort of refund.

Although I placed 8pm delivery for my meal, the restaurant received the order for collection. However, they delivered at 8pm after speaking to them. I ordered sushi and the food was excellent.

The sushi is always delicious, only sometimes the rolls are not made quite tight enough, so they can fall apart. However, it is still delicious and I will order from here again.

I have been to many japanese restaurants and was first worried about ordering sushi online. But hands down the BEST japanese food in west London! Definitely will recommend it to everyone! Speedy delivery, great fish quality at a decent price. What more could you ask for! very generous with the soya sauce and wasabi as some places they charge you extra!

Food has really gone down hill.

I have ordered sashimi and some a number of their tasty rolls from here on a number of occaisson's and it's always great quality and also something a little different from other Japanese restaurants in the area! The Nasu Dengaku is amazing and the Yellow Tail Special with Ponzu is also very good! Go for it!

Sagano used to be my favorite Japanese restaurant in London. That is why I ordered from them when good friends of mine were staying in London. I would've contacted them directly if they had a contact email. Since they don't, here's what happened: The quality dropped from 5 stars to 0. Everything was completely undercooked, we even had to re-cook the beef teriyaki which was completely raw in the inside. I am not talking about food temperatures, even the rice was a bit crunchy. - Miso soups had a very bad taste in it, probably because of what they were cooked in which was really calcareous. - Chicken Katsu salad had its chicken katsu taste like it's been fried with more than week old oil. - Every single once of our nigiri and sushi rolls had undercooked rice. Thing is, they are nice people, they deliver quickly and are here to help. But that just doesn't matter when the food is awful. I don't think I'll order from them ever again.
