YO! Heathrow T3 in Hillingdon

Food is ok, but I am disappointed at the customer service. While I was eating, I was told only cash as they had a technical issue. After I finished eating, I waited at the restaurant entry in order to talk to the waiter about payment, the whole time I could totally walk off as the waiters are busy with other things , but I didn't. While I finally got to speak with the waiter, I explained I don't have cash in pounds with me and going to the ATM is not an option either. But I am willing to wait for some time since I am not in a hurry. And I am willing to pay US dollars if they accept it. I asked if I could wait at the airport waiting area which is right next to the restaurant as the restaurant seat is too narrow. But they insisted that I have to wait inside the restaurant and the ETA to fix the card issue is one hour. I don't want to sit inside the restaurant for one hour so I offered to pay US dollars, eventually they let me go by taking 30$ for 15 £ of food. I think there are many ways this situation can be handled better and I am not the only one who had cash issues. I understand technical issues could happen, but they should not offload this problem to their customers. And also not even letting me sit in the waiting area facing their restaurant while waiting is a very bad experience for me.

I usually love YO and eat at its restaurants in most airports (although I feel Itsu is better in terms of being able to eat at a table and higher quality sushi) . But this one just didn't cut it The takeaway options are so so and they had no bags even though it's before 10am, seems badly prepared. Unfortunately would not recommend it in this location

We eat here very often and we love it. Very quick and convenient. Thank you to the manager lady and Sam for always being so kind to us :)

Delicious sushi, good prices, unlimited miso soup.

Very nice little restaurant while waiting for our flight. the sushi is made in minutes and the choice is interesting, on the other hand my fried rice was very very spicy... Good value for money overall

At Terminal T-3, the food options at the airport were quite limited, but we came across YO! Sushi, which seemed to be a popular spot with travelers waiting and enjoying sushi. One of the best features of YO! Sushi is its conveyor belt, offering a wide selection of sushi, including vegetarian options, alongside the regular menu. We had to wait 30-40 minutes before getting seated. Once seated, we ordered from the menu and also picked sushi from the conveyor belt. From the different options available, we went with Chicken Gyoza, Salmon Dragon Roll, and Veggie Volcano Roll. The food arrived quickly, and while it was okay for the price, the Veggie Volcano Roll stood out as our favorite--it was tasty, well-made, and flavorful. Overall, YO! Sushi is on the pricier side, but if you're dining there, the Veggie Volcano Roll is a must-try!

Poor. Ordered the poached eggs & salmon on toast and looked nothing like picture in menu. When it arrived it was cold and toast was rock hard, so much so couldn’t push the fork through the toast. Was pushed for time due to departure so tried to eat the eggs and salmon of the top of the toast… quality wasn’t great, felt queasy afterwards. Asked for coffee to be extra hot but told by sour faced manager not possible because it came out of machine. When coffee came in take away cup half of it was foam and amount was was miniscule, again nothing lime what they show you on the graphic. Don’t waste your money here. 👎🏽

A taste that places importance on filling the stomach

Super expensive. Not fresh food, staff takes forever to get the check. It’s especially important in an airport to check out people quickly when people are rushing. Would not recommend.

The scope of the selection is not magical. Changeability ok, the belt moved nicely quickly. You could also get extra portions from the list. Rice lager is a refreshing and pisitive tasty surprise. The flavors are just right, the prices are high, the stomach was full.

Wonderful Service and Great Food! Had a fantastic meal at YO Sushi at Terminal 3 Heathrow Airport. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Tatiana made some very well delicious recommendations on food I usually don’t go for and I took some to go as well . The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Even with a bit of a wait, their warm hospitality made it worthwhile. Highly recommend!

Price is on the high side and it is in pound. Ordered 4 plates for 2 people for 28£ and we were not full. Good taste still. Still reminiscent of Japanese food. Fun environment with the sushi plate conveyer. Friendly service

Overpriced, soggy sashimi and sushi rice, nothing taste fresh, a mass production without soul. Also slow service asked for a tap water and waited 10 mins - they simply forgot.

It is a airport restaurant, so food as expected not very good, it was okay. The dumplings in my noodle soup was actually not bad. The place was extremely busy and narrowed space, so don’t expect much service - the last sit beside me said the miso soup was bad - and suggest them to not serve to others.

暗黑料理 Overpriced!!! not Japanese food. Please check carefully of the price… a plate of machine made sushi = a KFC burger… I tried the chicken ramen… I will say.. cup noodles is better than it. A cup noodles is around £1.5, while the so called ramen was > £15.00-. Must skip it…

Sushi was ok, nothing is very fresh. My main complaint is that after getting the plates from the conveyor belt, they still charged me a non optional 15% service charge! For what? The service charge was also not disclosed anywhere. Felt scammed.

We enjoyed the experience but I wish there were more vegan dishes on the conveyor belt to select from and marked as vegan and vegetarian.

Limited sushi train selection, meh

Just bought the take away sushi but they refused to let me sit at the bar and eat. WILD! I understand if I’m taking space away from another customer but there were many open seats available. When I showed my disapproval they didn’t care so so sat at Cafe Nero. The guy let me sit there even though I didn’t buy anything from them. Honestly crap service!

Good food! However it amazes me how little professional the staff are (mainly Indians) They were constantly bantering each other, swearing in Punjabi ( I am African but I speak their language) they probably didn’t realise I could understand them, using racial slur towards me as there is no black people eating sushi. I wouldn’t step a food into this place. I still think the food was nice but the Indians working there should have a hard look in the mirror

Lovely experience here, first time trying anything like this but the staff were very helpful and the food was delicious.

Poor quality of food, but most importantly very low quality of hygiene. We were not offered water at the table, the chopsticks provided were sticky and the soy sauce dishes were filthy. We asked for new dishes and they were the same level of cleanliness.

Only used DROP OFF MY FAMILY AND EXPECTED BARRIER PAYMENT ON VC EXIT SO HAD TO GO ROUND ONE WAY AGAIN AND RETURN TO TRY AND PAY . I phoned 2 numbers on the signage but unable to pay as I DO NOT KNOW THE PHONETIC ALPHABET WHICH WAS UNREASONABLE REQUEST. WHEN I RETURNED HOME TO CANTERBURY KENT 2 Hours Later I phoned again and the VOICE RECOGNITION WAS VERY POOR FOR MY PURE ENGLISH ACCENT AND TOOK 9 MINUTES WHICH IS A DISGRACE . OLD PEOPLE DO NOT ALL USE INTERNET PAYMENTS ETC AND SHOULD NOT BE BULLIED INTO RIGID RULES TO SUIT YOU AT A PUBLIC AIRPORT DROP OFF SPACE .

What a pleasant surprise to get a good sushi experience at the Heathrow airport. We had our lunch before our flight and we enjoyed ever bow creation. They have a good mix of hot and cold Also must try the firecracker dishes and the teriyaki dishes Food was flavorful The prices for quantity could be better valued but we enjoyed the experience They also have alcoholic/non alcoholic beverages Our server Rish was very friendly and helpful.

I didn't receive service. What kind of service do I need? A three-point plate weighs 6-7 pounds. Ottogi flavor with a curry menu that never fails There was food residue in the cup and they asked me to pay, but I told another employee because I had finished my work and didn't come. How on earth did you survive?

Great sushi at T3 in Heathrow. The food is extremely fine, with really friendly service. The “assembly line” is original and actually typical for the type of food. You pay according to the color of the plate, the pricing is fair, but not exactly cheap. The space is a bit tight.

Japanese food is not standardized so it is hard to make it right. This place, the noodle is wong for ramen. So I think they don't even care, as long as there is good business. Teriyaki chicken noodle can be spicy and a noodle soup! That's against my belief... Don't expect sushi chef will make his hand clod to cop up with the expected temperature of sushi. Some Japanese food are fast food, but there are still technologies on how to choose noodle, how to cook.

Good food. One of our dish was very good, and the other was okey. The restaurant was nice except the loud Asian EDM-music that was mixed in with ”normal” songs. Only complaint there. The service was good and the server XXXXX was nice. What I didn’t like was that we felt very pressured to write a review before we paid. We got a QR-code to scan that we first didn’t understand what it was for. But it was to here, to sign a review. He was standing behind and looked while we should write a review. He made sure that we plublished before he have us the card reader to pay the bill. He even had a note how to spell is name so we didn’t missed it. Reviews should be optional and not pressured in to. That’s why the low rating.

The food and juice was good. All the staff are friendly and professional. Sajan was exceptionally receptive and professional.

I’ve always been a Wagamama person but it’s safe to say, I’ve now switched to Yo! Samzhana was absolutely amazing!!!

Such a friendly and fun place. Experienced it with my 10 and 15 yr old and they absolutely loved it. Taste is perfect for Indian/ Asian taste bud. Huge variety of food including tons of vegetarian options. Potions look small but actually is very filling.

Jassi was courteous, helpful and very kind to me and my daughter when she served us.

Delicious!! Fresh, quick our favorite stop every time we are in this terminal. Our server Jassi made it extra special with her recommendations and great service.

Food was absolutely delicious but I could tell the prices had gone up a lot since I last ate here. Also had a service charge of 12% which is also quite steep. Our server Rabina was very friendly and helpful.

Jassi was helpful in guiding us with rotating table, navigating the cutlery and helped us get quick service. She us very approachable.

Came in on a slow day with very little people, wanted a table but it was reserved for minimum 3 person - as we only was two people we got only option to sit on the line with bar stoles - i explained that i got a bad back problem after surgery, but still the lady up front refused me. Embarrasing situation. Also the lady up front was wearing a singlet at a sushi bar, extremely unprofessional and unappetizing.

Couldn’t find it in departures or arrivals so perhaps it’s still being built or refurbished.

Avoid at all! Food served in a very small portion, not fresh, as u can see in the pic😅Fired thing not even bigger than my hand! Ramen should be spicy, but not spicy at all, and have worst taste, just like Instant noodles. Oh the service is also bad too, can u believe that I was seated by a person who I don’t know, all because I came here alone, and once they gave me categories, they put two pairs of chopsticks together, tissues and plant as well…… so embarrassing…. Avoid at all, read the comments before you came, and take care of your wallet!

The sushi available at the counter were fine, although I would prefer having more than 2 types of fish.

The sushi here is way overpriced and while the fish is ok, the rice is not sushi rice. There is also not much variety. I only saw salmon, some vegetarian options, and some deserts.

Food far from fresh, cheap sushi rice they use, teriyaki bowl taste as old chicken with cold rice. Try to find better place pls

Nice to be able to get Japanese food in Heathrow airport. Perfect place to have a quick meal before getting on the flight. Prices are a bit expensive and foot quality is ok for conveyor belt sushi.

A lovely meal with the company before a long flight. We had very good service from the staff and lovely food. It’s nice and relaxed here, perfect when you’re a bit tired and can’t be bothered with anything/anyone.

Happy surprise stumbling upon this restaurant during our layover. The sushi was delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. Loved the pumpkin croquettes. The servers were great and Tatiani went above and beyond. Will definitely be back if/when we fly through Heathrow again!

Obviously terribly overpriced and the 10% obligatory service charge on top of that adds to the “very little food” for “very high price” experience. For this skyrocket prices you would think one would be able to spare some money to pay to their workers. Also, please, wash the plastic tea cups properly, they are very stained, it doesn’t add to the experience.

Good food, can’t complain about the service. The foods sitting right in your face.

"I was excited to try *Yo! Sushi*, but was shocked when they refused to let us in because we had a baby trolley. Seriously? A family-friendly place that doesn’t allow trolleys? Disappointing and frustrating."

It seems Indian cook, they don't eat fish, so how do they know how fish taste like, you cannot cook japanese rice like Jasmine, different water and cook time. Staffs are slow and it seems questioning themselves why they are working there. Ramen had salmon chunks, never had Ramen had salmon chunks in it. Save your money, I mean it is fastfood sushi. But not cheap tion either.

Awful. Horribly overpriced, rude staff, bland, cold food. Hideous airport exploitation. AVOID. Go to Wagamama instead, at least there you get a seat with your overpriced food.
