Yee-Tung in North Lanarkshire

Received my meal tonight and the dish tasted and smelled burnt,sick of paying good money for under par food,girl behind the counter was fine just the food needs sorted or watch closer and don’t burn it please.not sure if I’ll go back.🤨

absaluty disgusting dry af and way to much chilli powder on it up side the curry sause was ok and the crackers were nice phoned to complain and didnt even get offered to send out a fresh 1 or money back. will never order from there again

Ordered a chopped chicken breast curry with king prawns on sat night, it was excellent, I hadn't tried this Chinese carry out before as I usually go to the one at Newarthill cross or the Jade house in Cleland but from now on I'll be going here as it's far better, also service was quick.

Excellent food at great prices. The best chinese takeaway in Lanarkshire. Used by our group every saturday night for over a year and never been disappointed. Even when we are running a wee bit late due to work, they wait for us and never complain. Definitely worth a visit or a few.

Not even a sorry 😐 asked for my money back and then they asked for the food back, never again will we go back

Great local Chinese the gravy is to die for delivery service is great would recommend nothing to much bother if you would like to alter any meal

have been a regular customer for many years untill last week when i ordered the family a takeaway had put out our meals chicken curry rice chips and chicken balls and a portion of salt and chilli ribs we began to eat and when i put a bit of chicken in my mouth my god ive never felt so sick the foul smell and taste of spoiled chicken was so strong i spat it out and screamed at the kids to stop eating the chicken was off my partner had spat the ribs out as sour and off also we called them round and they said would send a replacement 10mins later sent a tub of chicken in curry sauce that was it the full meal had been covered in the previous sauce which was off so after spending close to 30 quid was not happy my partner called them back and explained this was not good enough the owner proceded to shout things in the background while the lady answering the phone was heard saying im not saying that to the customer no way so we had enough i scraped every bit of food into a carrier bag and jumped straight in the car dumped the bag on there counter and got a full refund the owner had nothing to say big man on the phone but lost his words when we went round customer service a disgrace and not a chance they didnt know the food was off you could smell it a mile off will never order from here again stay clear.

Chicken curry fried rice extra hot was about as good as ive ever tasted Delicious,piping hot,Chicken off the bone.curry sauce really spicy Will be in again when im passing.

Food was fresh and tasty , with a good of various foods on the menu. Telephoned order through and very quickly available for pick up .We defo be back Good value for money

Chinese takeaway food is OK but there is better locally

Best chilli box for miles although the Curry sauce is a bit too nippy for my baby tastebuds but the satay sauce is lovely.

This is the only Chinese I order from and have done so for many years curry are hot and spicy and food is great a few month ago they changed chef heard it was a son that took it over when I next ordered I was really surprised food and flavour was so much better and was just fantastic. However called last week for my takeaway and they were closed was confused as only closed on Tuesdays so left it and phoned for takeaway few days later I waited an hour and a half for my food which is strange as always delivers within 10 -20 mins food came stone cold sauce had all congealed it was that cold chips and chicken balls were soaking wet with condensation sitting in boxes I was shocked and angry at this so the last takeaway I ordered from here was yesterday phoned my usual and when it came was shocked that everything was different again battered chips clumped together different sauce have they changed chef again I feel this place cant keep the same for long its so inconsistent which is a shame because food was great for a while untill another change happened. Just don't know what your getting now scared to order to see what will arrive really wish they could keep consistency up.

After moving to carfin a few months back we have really had some awful take aways. Was recommended ye tung by a friend and i am so glad we took another chance at a local cal take away. I had the beef curry and fried rice, nice and spicy and the beef was lovely too. My husband had chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce (huge portion) and he loved it too.

Love this food come all the way from carluke for their curries,hot tasty goodness and real chicken breast!!,which seems to be unobtainable this side of wishaw ,keep up the good work !!

I have bought food from this takeaway several times & never had a bad meal, I would fully recommend this for fast food

La calidad de la carne es superior, sin embargo, el curry (cualquier carne) es demasiado caliente. Si pides suaves que simplemente agua por el curry con agua. Estas únicas ruinas la comida resultante en salsa acuoso. Demasiado calor! El curry chino no tiene que ser tan caliente. Nunca había conocido a ningún restaurante chino curry este servicio caliente.

I can eat hot curries but the chicken curry nearly burnt the inside of my mouth off, never again, one of the girls had sweat pouring down her face I much prefer the one in Brandon Street it's a wee bit hot but dos'nt leave your mouth on fire

Had a meal out of a few weeks back, The curry tasted different. The chips were soggy and raw inside.My cousin says the same, she had a beef dish and felt that the meal tasted funny as well. I wonder if they have changed chefs? Its not as appealing as before. So I have decided not to go back to here. Am sorry you are expensive but you arent providing the goods!I have been going to Wok World and they have been fantastic! Much Much Better!Sorry but you have lost a regular customer!Wont be back!

I've been going to this local Chinese for a few years now. I feel the food has improved ten folds recently, before it was like a rushed job. Now it feels it has been properly cooked ! I dont know if they have changed their cooking or hired a new chef, but it definitely tastes a lot better than previously. The curries are really nippy, but that's why it's a curry right? Lol! Staff are very polite and clean. I wouldn't go anywhere else because at least I know I am getting good quality food from them. It used to be closed on Tuesday's but now it's open 7 days a week , which is handy as I don't have to go elsewhere on Tuesdays. Keep up the good work!!!

would go back here for sure, the place was clean, staff were really friendly, food was brilliant and we didnt have to wait ages to get our food!

if you like a good curry well this is the place to visit they can be a wee bit hot but tasty ,i have tried every chinese in motherwell and none are a patch on the yee tung i get my beef curry well done oh its fab and especially for a hangover cure .

If you like your curries hot then try the Yee Tung especially the one in Brandon Street across from the Motherwell YMCA, good quality beef and the best chicken sweetcorn soup that I have tasted I must have tried every Chinese in Motherwell and Wishaw and by far this is the best Beef Curry about.

The beef used in the dishes, is the best for miles, their onion rings are amazing and their chicken balls fabulous. Only one grumble, the curry is nippy and if you aske for it milder, they water the sauce down, so we take it nippy and have rice with it to soak up the nippy sauce, but we love it, best in the district. Closes Tuesday nights.

The curries a red hot... even the mild ones would burn the skin off you from the mouth down... theres absolutely no flavour to the curry! Its just red hot. Anyone can make a red hot curry, not many can master flavour and spice.
