The app told me it was delivered when it wasn’t delivered, rung the restaurant and they reassured me it was on the way. Might have been the bad weather but I think the app should sort its issues.

Always freshly cooked and tasty. Staff are lovely as well.

ordered my favourite food today, DUCK. but the Cantonese sauce was pretty indescribable but not the worst I've ever had, can't complain. Anyway I think that my eyes are bigger than my belly as usual because I have tomorrow's dinner in the fridge as I was served up so much, I'm so bloated. (never mind guys, thanks)

Prawn crackers were totally burnt and obviously days old, salt and chilli chicken chewy and definitely not fresh and curry sauce was watery. Disappointing.

Ordered at 6:55pm and did not arrive until 9pm!! Absolutely disgusted at the lack of communication and customer service. Not even offered any compensation which is a first for us…. Will not be recommending to anyone from now on.

ordered meal at 5:45 for 7:30pm delivery (estimated 70mins delivery max). Arrived at 8pm. Ordered chicken crispy noodles which arrived congealed with sauce. Sauce itself tasted delicious, really good Satay sauce. Prawns in other meal overcooked. Prawns crackers to go with meal were soft and chewy, obviously not fresh which is really disappointing considering how cheap and quick they are to make. Really disappointed

Phoned an order for collection today the prawn crackers were stale and the chips tasted like they were reheated! Very poor from a great Chinese usually

I asked for an extra Spicy Curry aswell as an extra Spicy Curry sauce, aswell as other item, they went above & beyond, absolutely magical 10/10 perfection

Lots of great choice on the menu, food was delivered 10 mins early. All food was very carefully packed and wrapped up so when it arrived it was piping hot. Dishes were all very tasty. By far the best Chinese meal take-away I’ve had in many years. Thanks folks.

Normally hands down the best Chinese in hamilton but have to say this one was pretty poor a terrible smell off the satay and no taste of satay off it all not sure if something was off but definately not normal soup was lovely duck curry was average duck quite undercooked

Not sure if it we were just unlucky tonight, but my main - Siam Beef was very gloopy, described as spicy & fruity, but it just tasted hot and horrible! The other main, special chow mein was bland. Both meals went in the bin.

Great food , good service, value for money, best restaurant in the Hamilton area ,in my opinion,it just gets better and better on each visit.

Chicken was undercooked. Sauces were greasy. Most went in the bin. Really surprised as the food in the sit in restaurant is usually lovely

Prawn toast was tasteless and burnt. Chicken udon tasted burnt and was dry. No flavour to chicken udon. Wuntun soup was far too peppery and broth was inedible. Very poor

Absolutely fantastic. Great quality food, massive portions so worth the money, and very very tasty! I had made a request for onion to be taken out of my curry, and they obliged which was good. Food came 30mins before the suggested time, but I had selected ASAP, so no complaints. A definite 10/10!!!!

AVOID!!!!!!: terrible service. My order was supposed to arrive at 8.45, after several phone calls, and being hung up on, it finally turned up at 10.20. food was very average, and had to be heated. I'll never use this place again! asked for refund, told no as they were busy. if you order through just eat and it gives you a timescale, frankly to be an hour and a half over is simply ridiculous, even if they were busy! again id AVOID!!!!! BETTER CHINESE TAKEAWAYS IN HAMILTON! POOR CHOICE .

Decided to get a lunch from here and that was my first mistake. All our meals tasted stale and re-heated, like the back of your grandmas cupboard. Prawn crackers definitely had been lying a while. All my friends have experienced the same issues, safe to say work wasn’t a pleasant sight in the afternoon between the sink and the toilet. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy

Got a takeaway from here a snack box for lunch chicken that was like chewing a leather belt, stale chips & prawn crackers. Curry sauce didn't taste like chinese curry sauce, meal was definitely a re-heated meal, phoned to complain the man took notes and left it at that.

Best Chinese in Hamilton. Chicken balls were amazing. Thick noodles were best noodles I’ve had. Salt and chilli chips were on point as well and their delivery driver was really lovely. Absolutely impressed every time I order👏🏼🥰

Excellent delivery time at what is clearly a busy time of the year. Everything we ordered was delicious - if I was being hyper-critical, the wings could be a bit crispier but will definitely be ordering from Yee Hong again.

Why can't Chinese restaurants/takeaways make chips? Have never seen decent ones, these were terrible. Greasy sweet n sour chicken balls and the sauce was like a set jelly. Will give it a miss.

Food was delicious. Was a bit late, but it was Saturday night too. Definitely order from here again.

Wrong dessert sent. Definitely not a chocolate fudge cake, more like black forest gateau. Rest of food was lovely but the dessert was put in the bin. It was also drenched in cream.

My order was estimated for 17:25 from kurry lounge. I phoned them and I heard the lady say to the girl I spoke to tell her its on its way. I have just noticed it now says delivered on app however I have still not received this order?? I checked front door incase it was left.

Avoid. I understand that there may be communication issues when the owners speak little English, but it is not my fault if my order comes wrong due to that misunderstanding. We were happy to pay for the extra (although it was already £19 for fried rice with barely any sweet and sour, fried chicken rice and a small starter!!) sadly the woman was so rude to us when we phoned back to ask about the chicken balls that I had ordered and refused to accept that there might have been misunderstanding, bluntly telling us she had not got the order wrong. When we drove back to get the rest of the order there was no apologies and the woman ignored us until we got the order. Whilst we waited I noticed that out of all 7 fish in the tank only one was moving. A toddler was running in and out of the kitchen. I enjoyed the food, but it was hard to not question it's hygiene standards after our experience.

Shredded chicken in peking sauce (chicken was chewy and bland) chips were cold and hard, rice was cold, pineapple fritter was soggy. All food was cold and tasteless and had to reheat in microwave. Will not be ordering from here again.

Been a long time since I had anything from the Yee Hong and I now remember why. The place it's self is run down and smells inside, no draft lagers just cans, atmosphere is none existent and food just edible. I will not be back again.

Soups were bland..even after adding salt n pepper. Mains were good.ordered beer and cider. Both warm and disgusting on a hot day. Trying to sell off cider as a pint in a cola glass. Shame because staff did seem friendly. This was a second chance because last experience on mother's day was shocking. There won't be a third.

This is a wonderful restaurant with great, reasonably priced food! The staff are amazing and couldn't be more helpful. It is spotlessly clean, and you are made to feel very welcome. Love the General Tao chicken! Singapore noodles are amazing too. Their spring rolls are made with cabbage and really delicious. We are going to miss this place and their team lots as it shuts down tonight! Very Sad. Hopefully, it reopens soon!!! Good Luck to all of you.

Very disappointed after they delivered the wrong food for the 3rd time they then said that they did not do what I had ordered even though it is on their menu. Girl on the phone was very cheeky and unprofessional saying she was the boss when owner was not in and refused to refund my money. Please be very careful when dealing with this business clearly cannot read or understand their own menu the girl on the phone also said was a waste of time talking to the owners as the don't understand English I asked if she spoke Chinese and when she said no I asked how she spoke to them she said in English obviously ....

Food OK service shocking had to ask for a drink , had to ask for prawn crackers , 3 different staff asking if wee wanted sweets when wee had already ordered , chef was serving food due to the obvious lack of staff one table walked out after waiting 20 mins. And also having to ask for drinks , needs staff training not a worthwhile experience 🙄

Didn't get chance to dine in as we waited over 45 mins after being shown table before we had to ask if anyone was going to take drinks order or food order, after which taken it took a further 15 mins before any drinks arrived ( 2 cans of diet Coke, 1 ordinary coke and diet irn bru was ordered) what they came to table with was wrong they took all of the drinks back even though only 1 of them was wrong and didn't think to leave the correct ones at table, this took a further 10 mins to sort out, during this time still no starters came to table after ordering and being at table for now for an 1hr in total and only receiving 2 bowls containing prawn crackers and eventually our soft drinks, after going to complain about the unacceptable waiting time with no starters we decided to leave and offered to pay for the drinks we received even though I was offered them free of charge and an explanation was given by whoever the person I spoke with said that they were short staffed and if this had been pointed out to us at the very start we may have been a bit sympathetic to the long waiting time but not acceptable when they had been prepared to sit you down at table and just ignore you till we had reminded them that we had been sitting waiting for over 45mins before hand to order, will not be eating at this restaurant again if this is the way customers are handled for service even if it was busy on arrival others at their tables looked as if they had already received some food orders or table had cleared of food, I accept busy places can have a waiting time for orders to come to table, but that's when the order has been at least taken first. So will not be recommending Yee Hong restaurant any time soon

Visit there on 31/12 Food was nice Place was like sitting in a freezer myself and family now down with flu because restaurant was freezing 🥶 then had to deal with 2 members of staff didn't understand FINISHED after being told 5 times then we'll over charged WONT BE BACK

The food was delicious. The staff don't speak great English, but we're efficient, if somewhat blunt. The restaurant was clean but really cold, I felt like keeping my Jacket on. Needs a little bit of a revamp, decor a little tired. But overall great value for money.

Allways nice staff and nice food probably the best Chinese restaurant in Lanarkshire see you again soon our bill came the last time we where there 2 soups 2 main courses and 2 pots of Chinese tea £47 oh that bill is wrong we never had a coke at £ 1,80 so we got it amended it came back it was suddenly £42 so there must have been more going on with the bill so watch out for the musical instrument it’s called the fiddle please scrutinise. your bill when you visit be vigilant people we come here often it’s a good place to eat a first class Chinese restaurant very good food and staff and the service is wonderful too

This used to be a great establishment, but on our recent takeaway, we were all very disappointed with the quality, taste and quantity. I ordered a chicken curry with fried rice, what I got was chicken pieces from a packet served on a bed of rice, it tasted nasty. My family were all disappointed with their food. I can only imagine that this has changed ownership and chefs. We won't be back. I would have given no stars.

Placed order (lady answered) 5.08pm was told not be long. Hour passed.... called back "no order here, are u sure you called here? " yes, they denied me calling, questioning if I called a stonehouse Yeehong. Regular customer. Took zero responsibility for there mistake. Will not be back now. Unhappy as i have a hungry family thats now not getting the meal they ordered. Totally let down
