Yeadon Stoops Beefeater in Leeds

Drove all way from Leeds on Saturday to get there and be told sorry no more tables as we are closing this was at 15:10pm, got told they had to close at 4pm and was told no way before that absolutely shocking. And nothing noted on website. POOR!!

This pub is closed we've just had to pay £6 for driving into the car park getting out of the van and trying to walk In the door.

Very rundown, lacked any atmosphere, noisy unruly children running amok. Service was the best part, food just ok. Sadly, not for me.

Called in for fish and chips, very nice and tasty just what you want and only a few minutes from the airport

Bad experience here over a week ago - food burnt, mixed up order, pricey for what we got. Never set foot inside this place again - complained to Beefeater and got a "so called" apology and to say my experience will be brought up in management meeting - Joke of a Place

Whilst we could not fault the adult meals or any of the desserts the quality of the 3 children's meals were quite disappointing. The mash potato didn't taste like freshly mashed potato, more like reconstituted powdered potato. The macaroni cheese was solid and dried up at the bottom and the burger was burnt. To be fair we didn't complain as the children were tired and needed to get home to bed so we didn't give any feed back. Service was prompt and friendly.

Good menu and a good choice. Good staff with a fast service. Food is good. A good price. Have been here twice in last week. A good royalty card.

We are at the beafeater Leeds Victoria rd. had a great meal but Ellie was amazing great service polite friendly 10/10 for her she is great

Went for breakfast booked in at 10.45 but oh breakfast finishes at 11. Not finishes serving but they clear everything away. Had to ask for bread to toast (which the waitress seemed very put out). There was next to nothing when we got there. Why let people book a table and then clear everything away? They cleared up around us which was very disorienting while I tried to finish my breakfast that I managed to get.

Food was cold apart from sausages. No fresh orange. Scrambled egg was grey and rubbery. Won't be going again.

Visit Yeadon Stoops most weeks for work and can say I have never had a negative experience. The food is always perfectly cooked with minimal wait times. Staff both behind the bar and on the floor are incredibly friendly and welcoming and will go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience.

We had a lamb dinner it was excellent . We were served by Ellie, she was absolutely wonderful catered for our every need we had an issue with my Granddaughters desert which Ellie dealt with swiftly and professionally to our satisfaction she was great throughout our visit and is a Credit to your team.

Ben for breakfast and it was good. Decent sausage and bacon and eggs cooked nicely. A bit strange ordering all you can eat but the service was ok, we did wait a little bit when it got busier. The continental breakfast is quite basic but nice enough.

Service was quick can't fault it. Food was disappointing to say we spent nearly £40 on 2 starters, 2 mains and a soft drink each. Atmosphere wasn't great but it was Tuesday lunchtime.

Called in for breakfast while travelling through the area, I ordered a cooked breakfast with 2 fried eggs. When it arrived there was scrambled eggs on the plate instead. I asked for the eggs that I'd ordered but when the 2 fried eggs were delivered they were clearly not cooked, the whites still being raw. I gave up at this stage and left, if you can't even cook an egg properly what's the rest of it going to be like!?! I know there's worse things happening in the world, but it was still very poor!

The staff in particular cannot be recommended highly enough for their professionalism. They take great care in their customer service and they were indomitably friendly, everyone from service to management. The food is also fantastic if you're a fan of steak.

Overall a good meal just let down by the beef and lamb on the ultimate roast it was mostly fat Service very good

I've always been a supporter of this chain, but our visit on Friday 8 March was extremely disappointing. I picked the 74 baconeater burger. I think they started cooking it in 1974. It was a very small 'beef' patty that was dry and tasted burnt. Along the way from 1974, the chef forgot to add the 74 bacon relish and to call it baconeater and offer one tiny strip of streaky bacon is stretching the realms of honesty. No cheese, no mayo. The coleslaw somehow tasted of fish and soap. It left a very odd aftertaste, not pleasant at all. My wife asked for a swap from chips to mashed potato with her Beef and Ale pie. The mash must have been quinelled with teaspoons as it was a very meagre portion, the space was taken up with a copious amount of peas. All good then 🤔 The place was not busy, so I can't even allow credit for the chef(s) being rushed off their feet. Staff were mostly attentive, but did not ask if we enjoyed our food. We paid and left. Sadly it will be some time before we return to this restaurant. A massive and rather expensive disappointment

I've been going there for years, never had a problem and the food is very good, especially the breakfasts excellent value for money.

Honestly, I thought it was a bit overpriced for what you got. The food was average, veg was cold. Portions were OK, not great. Also nobody told us the drinks had free refills.

Had breakfast here it was so nice. I definitely have to come back when next in the area

For the price of their breakfast (£9.99 all you can eat including drinks, and kids eat free!), you can't go wrong. Incredible value with a great selection of hot and cold food items.

Expensive but necessary when past searchs

The food was nice, it’s nothing grand just standard pub food but there were no complaints. The atmosphere was a bit rubbish as ot was really quiet so there was no hustle and bustle and the atmosphere that you get from pubs, it was very silent. The staff were really friendly and helpful and I can’t fault them for anything.

Just awful. Breaded mushrooms rolling around on an empty plate. Not even a little bit of salad for the presentation... The BBQ sauce was watered down with vinegar, or some such condiment, didn't taste like any BBQ sauce I've ever had. As for the Sunday roast. Appalling. Chicken looked like it had been washed not roasted. Lamb, couldn't cut it, and sirloin steak, cooked in middle, raw on the ends. Proper raw, the ends did not touch a pan! Soggy, cold vegetables and frozen carrots. Urghhh.. Never again.

Sunday lunch was adequate. The roast potatoes were far to salty (seasoned) for my liking.

Beware if you are going for a meal as my son has just received a parking ticket from Christmas day, he visited here for Christmas day dinner with his grandmother and didn't realised you had to pay for parking so now it's cost him another 50 odd quid on top of the 100 quid for the dinner out,.

I like to call here for a quiet pint when I'm in the area. It's a nice place to be to unwind. I've not eaten here, so can't comment on the food or service.

Went for a birthday meal on boxing day. The three course menu was fantastic and good value. Great service contributed to a wonderful experience

We often stay at the Premier Inn next door, and always book in for evening meals and breakfast, the staff are always brilliant, friendly and attentive, food is always delicious, visiting here always makes our stay fabulous 👏👏👏 had bad experiences in other beefeaters but this one is head and shoulders the best we have ever been to 😊

Beefeater Yeadon offers a mid-range dining experience. Cold food and burnt chicken are a bit of a disappointment, but the place has room for improvement. The service was decent, but the quality of the food needs attention.

The staff fitted 9 of us in on short notice after another restaurant messed up our booking. The staff were really helpful and friendly. I've eaten in different Beefeater's before and not had a great experience however the food here was great, all 9 of us enjoyed it.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. We didn't eat this time as we were meeting family before they flew to warmer climes. We will be back.

Disgrace no members of staff not sure what’s going on the chef isn’t in the kitchen so not sure where my food came from and to my horror got a £51 parking fine staff just sat on there phones

Chelsea was rude and standoffish from the moment we walked in...I asked for a booth but was told no she then loudly in an effort to embarras me that the high chair would block the way...buy the seats she offered also blocked the way woth the high chaif.. ..she then charged me double what I have paid for the last few years of coming to Yeadon stoops.

Had breakfast recently prior to a flight. Waited an eternity for anyone to take an order…. Unlimited breakfast, except yhey take a (limited) order. When it finally came it was the saddest breakfast I’ve ever seen… 2 teaspoons of beans for example. Never asked if everything was ok, wanted any more just left. £28 for 2 (allegedly unlimited) breakfasts with a coffee…. Shocking value

Don’t waste your money Waitress put hot plate on my phone then Walked away Drinks came ten minutes after food, I ordered a Pepsi and when we got the bill I found out it was unlimited free refills Staff were unhelpful and ignorant. Cold food. Really didn’t enjoy anything about it. No one came to ask how food was or even clear our plates we just went to bar and paid them left. Very bad experience - was £50 for two People and we only had 2 soft drinks

Had gammon was the worst I've ever had just a piece of grizzle.Its overpriced for the type of food they sell.

Great food, can't understand why we were the only customers on a sunday afternoon, had to ask if they were open when we walked in.

When you order poached eggs and ask for them not to be runny you get this after waiting 45 minutes, apparently no chef so the manager cooked this disgusting mess

First time here for Sunday lunch we had booked thinking it might be busy it was empty bar about a dozen people which made for an awful atmosphere (not the establishment's fault). The food was very good (although they had run out of beef which we thought was strange). The staff were pleasant and helpful. We did feel a bit sorry for everyone as we're not used to empty restaurants on a Sunday. Not sure why it was empty on a Sunday as I dread to think what it's like the rest of the week. All said the experience was average and won't be returning because of the Atmosphere.

Absolutely shocking. Tiniest bowl of fries I've ever seen in my life but they tasted fine. Unfortunately the chicken goujons that were supposed to be with them were delayed by half an hour. This was after already waiting an hour and twenty minutes for the food to arrive. Now let's talk about my friend's 'lasagne' if you could call it that... it looked more like microwaved dog food in a dish with a side of burnt garlic bread. When the poor girl came to clear the table I was amazed that she asked if everything was okay with our meal! Since most of it was left on the plates I'd have thought it was clear it was definitely not ok! We spoke to the manager who offered us a paltry discount on the lasagna and by this time we were losing the will to live so paid up and left. Safe to say we will not be dining here again.

The service was terrible. We ordered starters and mains for the same time. And yet we only got starters for one person and had to wait an hour for the mains for the other two people. By the time the mains arrived we weren't hungry! And all the manager could sat was a squeaky sorry and sorry and sorry. I wouldn't advise going there if your hungry, as you will pass out from waiting and bad service!

We booked a table for a large group we got half of the table first by the time they'd eaten then next half came out a huge portion of the food was cold....the only reason it got 3 stars is solely down to the fact the manager said don't pay would of been close enough to £100 for something nobody ate which would of felt like robbery...would love to give them a second chance just don't know if it's worth the risk

Didn’t open the doors for breakfast had to leave as it was going to make me late. Didn’t have some of the menu items the evening before either, wasn’t told this until after I’d ordered.

We called in on a Wednesday lunchtime and ordered 2 refillable cola drinks. After about 5 minutes we asked for menus only to be told there was no food until maybe about 5. We finished our drinks, then as we had paid for refillable ones, we decided to have another cola. After a wait of over 5 minutes someone came and got us our drinks. When asked about the reason for no food we were told it was an ongoing situation. Another gentleman was told the chef hadn't turned in. Finished our drinks and went for a beautiful pizza at Escape. Your loss was their gain. Surely a note to say no food would not have been impossible? We spent a totally unnecessary £6.80

Stay here ordered food took age to come .food was rubbish and manager didn't have clue

We booked a table hear today (thinking it would be busy) it was dead. I ordered the surf and turf, which was sirloin steak, calamari and kind prawns. Let's start with calamari... A favourite of mine, unless it's ice cold in the middle and swimming in grease on the outside, which this was. The prawns were like rubber, the fries were cold and as for the steak, well I'm glad I got a steak knife, but a chainsaw would have been more appropriate. I called one of the waiting on staff over and explained what the problem was, she kindly took it back to the kitchen and 15 minutes later the meal was represented. That steak knife I mentioned earlier came in handy as I had to literally saw through the first prawn, the calamari was indeed up to temperature this time but was sitting in a puddle of cooking oil. The second piece of steak, which I didn't think could have been worse than the first was pretty inedible, tough and completely flavourless, the flavourless part can't be blamed on the chef, that's down to what the cow had been fed on, but the shambles on the plate was entirely down the.... chef! If that's what the person was who cooked the food. Personally I'm voting that their chef actually called in sick today and they literally just pulled some random person in off the car park to cover the shift... needless to say the second plate of food went back to the kitchen and I pleaded with the waitress not to bring me a third plate... not sure I could have stomached it! I would like to say that the waiting on staff were very attentive and polite....

The staff looked very disinterested. There was no hot food on, so just toast, cereal, some yoghurts and some very old looking fruit. The toasters are very slow. There was 1 plate of croissants brought out and not replaced. All in all, not a good experience.

We have been visiting this venue regularly for the past 5/6 years but the last few months it has become very slapdash. Hubby booked a table (yesterday) for today at 1.30pm, anniversary lunch. He received a phone call approx an hour before to say it was cancelled due to not having any Chefs?? Went to Toby Carvery at Chapel Allerton instead, food quality and service very good. Beefeater's loss Tobys gain.

Vegetarian option not very varied had 3 starters instead of main meal.

Always used to be good food at a good price, the last few times we have been it's been dreadful, feels like they are pushing too much food out as quick as possible for too many people. Their only saving grace is the staff who are always attentive.

It's sometimes cold in the restaurant, close to Leeds Bradford Airport.

Very poor service the staff were to busy on their phones to be bothered to serve us . Had to go to them to get a drinks ordered taken and again when we wanted our sweets.. The food was under cooked and cold .. Take my advice don't waste your money..

Group of 4 of us went for Sunday lunch 24th July, service poor, food poor, really has gone down hill in the last 6 months. 45 minute wait for the blandest Sunday roast ever, nothing tasted fresh as if it had been cooked hours ago and kept warm. We were going to order deserts but after waiting ages for the table to be cleared, which never happened, we went in search of a staff member to pay!

Booked a table . Was left standing 2 staff members never acknowledged us. Finally got our table the place was empty. Sat 20 minutes before we were asked if we were ready to order. Starters came and were only like warm. The cheesy mushrooms were undercooked and there was hardly any cheese on them & the bread only toasted on one side. If that wasn't disappointing enough when my main came it was sent straight back . The chichen was gard and that burnt on the hedges & underneath it was not fit to eat. I would not recommend this place. The place is not very clean & the staff are not very attentive

As a family we often come here when offers are on, as the deals can be really good - value wise. Whilst the food is average (pretty standard/as expected) for this kind of venue, we all just wanted to give a special mention to Charlotte the waitress as she is absolutely lovely, what an assett to the team up there she is. I really hope she sees this review or that someone higher up sees this review and gives her the praise she deserves as you honestly have such a lovely, kind and friendly member of staff there and she is a credit to you all.

Absolutely shocking... approximately 10 customer's in the restaurant. After waiting 45 minutes meal still hadn't arrived (can't be that difficult to microwave pie and mash) . When it arrived that's another story, pie was harder than a brick and if that was mash it was more like cement to go with the brick pie.. Honestly my worst experience for food. If the staff that were supposed to be working instead of laughing and joking in the kitchen a little productivity to provide a service would of been good

Absolutely awful food - never again!

Absolutely one of the worst places I've eaten,poor waitress was on her own and did a outstanding job,quality of food was really poor,all frozen and was only just warm when it arrived,waited ten minutes to be seated and then forty for our food to arrive,so dont waist your money at yeadon stoops!

Short staffed one waitress around 16 years old running around. pleasent though Food was bland- roast chicken dry and roast potatoes not nice and gravy like rusty water. Burger not to bad, supposed to come with skinny chips but got thick dry chips. Got puddings with were better cheese cake and apple pie with custard that could have been a lot hotter. Cappuccino drinks not very warm also For the price of food overall very disappointing this place needs to have a good hard look at the operational side of it's business. Used a code for money off but not worth the money. So much so I will not be frequenting this establishment in the future. Whitbread plc you need to do a spot check here and find out for yourselves.

Waiting for ages to order food. Partner found hair in food and they didn't even offer and alternative. Partner ordered a refill drink and never got it. Kids Sunday roast didn't even get mash. Waited a hour and 5 min for main meal.wont be back here.

We arrived and waited 10 minutes to be seated at our reserved table, poor waitress was on her own doing everything she did an outstanding job. When I asked the manager where our drinks was after waiting 15 minutes he replied with “well there is only 2 of us in” the food was all frozen food, the driest food I have ever eaten and the quality of food was disgusting also, we watched several people walk out after waiting more than 10 minutes to be seated. Would defiantly not recommend and we will not be returning.

Really nice food, excellent service and very good prices.

Food was disgracefully foul. Badly prepared, undercooked, items missing from plates, most food was inedible. Drinks were poor. Dirty tables. Food all over floor. Dirty cutlery. Manager was rude and abusive and used foul language in front of my young children. So we left without paying.

Arrived and it was very quiet waited 15 mins for a member of staff as nobody was around to then be rudely told not taking bookings as the chef had just walked out

My dad and son enjoyed theirs, mine was poor. Ordered mixed grill. The rare steak I asked for was well done, no sausage, dry chicken and the skinny fries I asked for were replaced with chunky chips. Took nearly an hour to arrive. Table for three only had two place settings. Had to pinch an extra knife and fork from another table. Won't be going back.

The service was so slow. Well over an hour from order to table.

Went for father's day with family who my partner doesn't get to see as often as he'd like due to work commitments. Nice,clean condition but,we were seated at 9.30 and we then waited till 10.25 for our order to be taken and when the food came it was appalling,we couldn't eat it,the eggs not cooked the sausage and bacon were not good at all. All in all it was a waste of our time. I feel let down and bad for my partner and son in law as the day was to say thank you for everything they do for us.I cannot recommend this place at all

Ate here as connected with Premier Inn. We overnighter prior flight from LBA. Food was fine. We both dined on a steak option and the meat was good quality and cooked well to our requirements.

Absolutely shambolic, burnt calamari, burnt burger, not worth the money at all very over priced for what you recieve. We had pre booked with hotel but still cost an added 50 plus pound and no compensation for burnt food. One out of however many waitresses where lovely however the rest of staff was very impolite or childish I would love to go into this further and speak to someone ASAP

Went for food asked if we could be seated seated in bar to watch football and told we could, ordered at bar told couldn’t sit in bar as a couple of bus loads coming in after a long discussion we were allowed in the bar to eat (no bus loads of people turned up). Food came out the lasagne was cold and the fish ok, A replacement hot lasagne came and we watched the matched whilst eating, no one cleared the plates away. Fantastic location as we use the Premier Inn but would not use this restaurant if we visit again

People were walking out as they waited too long to be served. Clearly understaffed, people were running around trying to accommodate customers. The continental breakfast was like a jumble sale that had been ransacked Tables were left uncleared, probably due to lack of staffing

We visited for a drink as staying at the adjoining Premier Inn for an early flight. Massive problems as someone had accidentally cut through a cable so they were unable to take card payments for a couple of days. I ordered drinks and snacks but was only told afterwards that I'd need to pay by cash. As I didn't have any cash they took a record of my card details to charge at a later date. Staff really should have explained the situation when I arrived at the bar. I could tell the staff were pretty annoyed by the situation and who could blame them.
