It was my first time dining at Cabin Bar at Leeds Bradford Airport and it was okay. The Food tasted good, the atmosphere was alright and the service was okay. There are some things that I did not like, like some of the dishes on the menu were not available and was not even mentioned anywhere. The only thing that I like about this place was the food but that's it. I don't think I will come back to this place, I wouldn't recommend it.

Bang average. Nothing special about the service or food although as usual for an airport it's really expensive at £16-£17 for a full cooked breakfast. Been.here twice in last 3 weeks what really let's it down is the poor standard of cleanliness (btw, as I type this a member of staff is tidying and stocking the bar area (only). Tables are left unwiped and sticky from spilled drinks etc, we've cleaned and sanitised ours (4 of us). Both times I've observed tables left not cleaned or tidied both on top and under. Today 23/10/24 we actually took a serviette to the dado rail adjacent our table to remove all the dust. (Table 33) Caveat- is it short staffed or staff don't prioritise I'm not judging. Time of attendance 07:15 - onward. Just watched a group of girls swimming group move onto a table behind us, table is terribly filthy with spilled drinks from previous guest and it's not even excessively busy but they need/want the larger table.

Always a great place to start your holiday. Nothing quite like the obligatory airport pint at 4am before heading off on your way to your chosen destination. The staff are friendly and the offerings are good. Yes the prices are higher than you can get in a regular bar/pub/restaurant but by now I fully expect that an airport refreshment will cost you more due to the environment and I'm personally happy to pay it.

Once you get over the scandalous £7 drop off charge at LBA (you don't, btw) you get to The Cabin Bar. Of course, it's gouging your eyes out on price - why should beer be £2 more expensive than a pub 1km away? Of course, it's got an overly complicated app ordering system which works one time in three and steals your data. Of course, the food is micro-wave, prepped off site, horrible. Fine, you kinda accept that at a UK airport, although I don't know why, but why is EVERY SINGLE TABLE constantly covered in dirty pots and glasses. They don't seem short of staff - one I'd waded through the filth I found five of them chatting behind the bar (the app was down, obvs) The time before last I saw one member of staff walk the full length of the bar three times empty-handed, past table after table after table covered in dirty glasses and finished meals with food left on them. Awful, awful place best avoided unless you like dirty tables and lazy staff. And outrageous prices.

Like the many other reviews, who get a "we're sorry" response but no change - filthy chairs, slow service and THIRTEEN POUNDS for a single glass of prosecco. Oh, and a huge glass wall onto the walkthrough to Duty Free so you feel like you're on the wrong side of the glass in the zoo with everyone staring in trying to figure out how to come in for an extortionate drink. Expected really for an airport, but one of the worst I've visited.

Don't expect a cheap round, it's £15.38 for two pints of San Miguel! If you don't have a table number you can only have plastic glasses too. The chairs were absolutely disgusting too, they looked nice until you pulled them from under the table and they are badly stained and full of food debris

Like every moment spent in Leeds Bradford airport, time spent in this bar is a miserable experience. The only reason you should go in is that you have a 0.5% chance of getting a seat, rather than 0% in the rest of this over-crowded mess of an airport. Crap service, awful food and crazy prices even by airport standards. Only very slightly more preferable than standing in one of the leaky, freezing portacabins they try to pass off as boarding gates. Do yourselves a favour and just fly from anywhere else so you don’t have to visit this bar. And if there are no flights from other airports, consider walking to your destination instead. It will most likely be more pleasant.

Genuinely shocked by the state of the bar. Floor filthy from the door inwards. Food, including bits of pasta someone could have slipped on and what looked like crisps, left lying on floor the entire time we were here. Napkin holders at bar empty and encrusted in grime. Windows looked like someone had spilt beer down them weeks ago and had not been cleaned since. Clean glasses put back on dirty shelves with smeared mirrors. Tables also filthy, wiped ours using our own wipes, which came away black. Sticky rings visible on every table around us. Fabric chairs stained, with bits of food encrusted in the upholstery buttons. Bottled condiments left sitting in the sun and visibly sweating. Was handed a menu that had clearly been used as a beer mat for several days. Two female staff members moving listlessly through the bar chatting intently to each other and flicking a cloth around with no evidence they’d been trained to clean properly, let alone focus on customer service. Pleasant but again clearly untrained bar staff. Just not good enough given the prices charged.

Pretty poor, and the management are missing a trick. 1. QR code service only. But no signs up indicating this. Meaning every new customer goes to the bar to ask for a menu, annoying both parties. And older demographics might struggle. 2. Meh staff. It was empty when I was in and despite this, staff seems flat and uninterested. No politeness, no smiles. 3. Filthy, sticky tables that should have been clean given how empty the place was at the time. One star for quick food service.

Rude staff unwilling to help customers who couldn't navigate the ordering process. We watched multiple people come in, sit down, struggle with ordering then leave without buying anything. One woman went to the counter and asked 'what happened to speaking to a person?' And the reply she got was 'well that's how head office wants it'. The woman subsequently left with a sigh telling her travel companion 'oh well, it was a nice idea. Sorry it didn't happen.'

The worst bar. Online ordering only with no other option to pay. I sat with my family and had to listen to the bar tender say" Online ordering only, take a seat and scan the QR code at the table" I watched at least 50 people turn around and leave during my 40 mins in here. Many older people with limited tech knowledge or a phone that can scan a QR have been excluded from the cabin bar. You need to do better.

Rude staff. Not enough tables but they won’t serve you if you don’t have one. Card machines at the till but they won’t serve you at the bar if you are paying by card. You have to use the QR code … which should be clearly explained before you wait for 20 mins queuing at the bar. And not all the tables have QR codes or table numbers. Drinks extortionate even for airport prices. Overall one of the worst airport establishments I have been to. Leeds Bradford Airport you need to sort this out!

This was supposed to be a simple transaction as credit cards not accepted I had to setup up a online order and payment took me 10 mins then sat waiting for the order that didn't arrive, I queried it with the staff who were very aloof told me to wait as its on line I just wanted a quick half what a faf, also quite expensive. I've used this particular bar at the airport the last handful of times that I've travelled, however last time I was here the bar staff weirdly tried to push me towards using an app to order two drinks. I pushed on to make my order and pay at the bar, like you would at a "bar". This time around they were insistent on me going back to my table and using an app to order two drinks, rather than paying at the bar, where I was already standing. Ridiculous operation. Just pass this one by and go to the next one. Modern times.

Review of the Cabin Bar, Leeds Bradford Airport. Having been up at 04.30 for an 05.30 taxi and an 08.30 flight we planned to eat breakfast at LBA. After some debate between eating at the Cabin Bar or Burger King, we foolishly settled on the Cabin Bar. We ate on the morning of Sunday 24 March 2024, ordering at 07.04 using the QR code method insisted upon. Our check number was 31827686-437 and my (cold – should have been hot) Cabin Signature breakfast cost £15.99 plus £3.39 for a small pot of (cold – should have been hot) tea. The price included a £3.82 tip which, we have just noticed, was added automatically. On the plus side, the staff are friendly, polite, and helpful. On the negative side is everything else. It’s poor value and slow service. We ordered using the QR code, which is a faff, but we did it. We were 5 adults in our party, but the order came piecemeal. My tea arrived about 15-20 minutes before my breakfast and was cold. When the breakfast eventually arrived, I complained about the cold tea and the waitress kindly and promptly brought a hot replacement. Then I realised that the breakfast was only lukewarm at best. With our Gate due to be announced at 07.50 it wasn’t worth complaining and awaiting a replacement. To the owners of this establishment: You are incompetent. Operating as you do in an airport, your biggest expense is the premises. The next biggest is staff costs. The food itself costs next to nothing by comparison, but it is on the food you are judged. It was a cold, small, portion, spasmodically served, and slow into the bargain. No doubt you think you can get away with ripping off your customers because they are just passing through, you’re not trying to attract them on a daily or weekly basis, and to a certain extent that is true, you can get away with that much. Your problem is that when you rip off a guy like me, I NEVER return. Bin the QR code system, set up a buffet of hot food, let people load up their trays, and have them pay at a till at the end of the line. Until you do, I’ll eat at Burger King when using LBA. I hope the staff, at least, got the automatic tip, because the owners don’t deserve it.
