We visited this pub last night as sign outside said "home cooked food", reality was it was only Taco's, and they were disgusting. Return to bar and advised freezing cold and there was no apology. No one came out to replace with hot food. We abandoned the pub, horrible experience.

A real old fashioned Devonshire pub. Great Atmosphere and Staff.

We had the pleasure of visiting this lovely pub at the weekend. The warm friendly atmosphere was delightful. The staff were so kind and made us so welcome .I think the manager was named Brett ,he was polite friendly and professional. We will definitely return with our friends

This pub is shocking the manger of this place needs Fiering I had a very upset sister this morning after the manger had told her that her nan would drop dead if she saw the way my sister looked yesterday! This is rude and disgusting behaviour I will be having a call with the manger today she deserves an apology how disrespectful

This is a review regarding the owner, nick. I bought something from Facebook marketplace and it was sold in a misleading way (new when wasn't, foreign plug on it etc) . I asked for a refund. When collecting it he said he had felt undersupported by local people, and being new to the area, I had every intention of frequenting the pub. Never have I met such a rude patronising person in my subsequent conversation, so I will certainly not want to give him any business, and hope others don't either

Good local pub, nice food, good prices and friendly service

Beer was good, food OK, pleasant landlady, but just nothing to inspire you 😉

Stopped by whilst on a bike ride, allowed us to bring our bikes into the courtyard. Quick service and very accommodating.
