We stayed nearby and stopped in on our last night. The owner was charming and helpful in getting a football game on TV for us. New ownership has been working to improve the place since January and his plans seem like it will be well worth a visit the next time we pas/ through!

Enjoyed our visit. Good food and a friendly welcome for us and our old dog. Would recommend this pub if in the area and especially handy if using the nearby caravan club site.

We have visited Camrose many times over many years and every time we come we always say that we should try Ye Olde Inn as it’s literally across the lane from where we stay (Upper Calffield Farm). Well we did. What a little gem of a place, whilst the outside isn’t very appealing don’t let that put you off. It’s lovely to go into a traditional village pub that is still frequented by the locals and run by a family, both of which were extremely friendly and welcoming to us and we were very much drawn into the village chat. The menu was basic but the food was great, home made and generous portions. Drinks were also reasonably priced. We will definitely drop in again on our next trip to Camrose.

We had a most beautiful Sunday roast here (easily the best we’ve had in a very long time) so had to pop back for a midweek meal. The chicken curry and chips was so tasty! We had a few gins while watching a beautiful sunset in the garden. A must visit if you’re in the area, can’t recommend enough.

We had been staying in the area all week and driving past almost every day. We were not sure that it was open. So glad that we decided to have dinner here before heading back home. A simple lockdown menu beautifully cooked and served with a smile. Don't drive past, drop in! You won't regret it.

We were staying at a caravan site next door and were recommended to visit. We had a lovely welcome by the owners and barman. The bar has comfy seats with a wood burner. The Resteraunt has a seperate room with oldy wordly furniture. A small menu but lovely selection. We had stake with all the trimings cooked to our liking. From a selection of home made sweets we chose crumble and custard .Real ale was available for those who prefer. The bill was surprisingly good value. Would recommend a visit and the reviews are excellent especially for Sunday lunch

We are staying in Camrose Pembrokshire in Wales, and decided to book a Sunday lunch at the local pub, Ye Olde Inn. As they say don't judge the book by it's cover, there is a surprise awaiting you, when you go to Ye Olde Inn, Camrose Pembrokshire Very friendly owner/Chef and staff, very welcoming and all the customers too, nice olde worldly pub, dating back to 1735, timber beams in the restaurant lovely inviting wood burner in the bar. The food was gorgeous and loads of it, generous portions, cooked to perfection, and reasonably priced too, so generous were the portions that we couldn't fit in a desert, today 18/10/20, Roasts available Beef, Lamb and 1/2 a Chicken, with cauliflower and broccoli cheese, cabbage with bacon, roast potatoes to die for, crispy outside and soft inside just how I like them, creamy mash, carrot's, turnip, fine green bean beans and Brussel Sprouts, runner beans, Roast parsnips, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing with the chicken, and lovely gravy, with a jug of extra gravy for both of us. It's a pub in a very quiet area, with passing traffic and near a touring campsite and Upper Calffield Farm, holiday lets, where we are staying, I recommend you try which ever accommodation suits you and definitely try Ye Olde Inn, it is a jewel in the crown of Wales, not to be missed, or you will miss a fantastic piping hot meal fantastic service and friendly local people. We will be going back before we leave.

What a gem of a find! The pub is very unassuming on the outside but very cosy and welcoming on the inside. The staff comprised of mum, dad and daughter. They were so welcoming and did everything they could to make our meal there as enjoyable as possible. We had booked in advance and as my daughter is gluten and dairy intolerant, Kevin (Dad/chef) rang me a few days before to see if there was something my daughter would like that he could make for her. No restaurant has ever done that before! They really went the extra mile and the food was outstanding and plenty of it! My husband and I enjoyed the chicken breast stuffed with leek and mushrooms in a delicious creamy sauce, served with piping hot chips and delicious vegetables (especially the courgettes fried in salted butter). Then my daughter enjoyed a medium steak with all the trimmings, including some beautifully fried onions. The local drinks were cold and refreshing and the only downside was that due to Covid they are only open on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the moment for food, otherwise we would have returned a few times! Hopefully we will be able to return again next year.

The exterior of this rural local seriously belies the quality and generosity of portion size inside. Local produce is cooked very well and comes to the table piping hot. I had a fillet steak and chips, which was cooked perfectly medium rare and came on a fully covered large plate, including sweetcorn, tomato, peas, mushrooms and onion rings. The bill was eminently reasonable for the portion size and food quality. A good choice for an unpretentious pub meal, the Ye Olde Inn is a bit like Cuprinol. Does what it says on the tin.

This place may be off the beaten track but that means it’s had to be excellent to survive. Huge portions of perfectly cooked food are served by the friendly staff. The outdoor space is so peaceful looking out over countryside and away from any noise. My partner had the steak and said it was the best seasoned steak he has eaten! I had the lasagne which was home cooked and served with fantastic chips and a well dressed feta salad. We both had Prawn cocktail to start which was full of flavour and a generous portion again. We visited during Eat Out to Help Out but would have willingly paid the full price, lower than most nearby places and for better food. You will leave here full, satisfied, and feeling like you just got the best value meal out of your life!

Whilst staying at a nearby caravan site we pre-booked, advisable, Sunday lunch for four adults with 3 dogs. Upon arrival we had a very warm welcome with cheery staff & locals. There was a choice of 2 homemade starters, we all had the pate which was very tasty & well presented. Main course choice was 3 lamb & 1 chicken, beef was also available. When they arrived I was surprised to find my chicken was half a good sized bird. Meals served with a Yorkshire pud, roast potatoes, parsnip, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower cheese, broccoli cheese, sprouts, green beers & mashed potato. In fact it was difficult to fit it on the plate & in our stomachs, it was all cooked to perfection & piping hot. Such was our culinary delight dessert was going to be forced pleasure. Homemade sherry trifle, don’t risk if driving 😀for 1 & homemade bread pudding for 3, all excellent. Throughout our meal the family staff were attentive & happy, with nothing too much trouble. Our friends requested a lamb bone with some meat for there dogs to take away, the owners appeared at the end of our meal with a sizeable bone with enough meat to feed a family. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals & our only complaint was over indulgence, we will definitely be enjoying this family run establishment again. Well done team 👏

Nice local pub that’s relatively easy to access which is warm and has friendly staff and locals. After popping in for a cheeky pint one night the chef bought out some food samples. Based on how good that was and given the friendliness of the place will be back again.

This small country pub doesn’t immediately attract you in, but the visit is really worth it. Four of us visited and though there is a relatively small menu, there is still enough choice. Two of us had the home made steak and ale pie and two the sirloin steak. The pie was full of delicious tender meat accompanied by chips, salad and perfectly cooked peas. The large sirloins were tender and cooked to perfection. We could not finish the meals as there was just too much! After a suitable period we all tried the home made crumble and again we were not disappointed.Definitely a place we will return to.

We were staying in a house nearby and walked there for Sunday Lunch, we had booked as there were 12 of us. The welcome was very warm and the lunch was delicious - we didn't all have the same but everyone's was lovely, it was obviously cooked to order and at the end of the meal they bought a plate of lamb slices which were left over and we all tucked into those. We enjoyed it so much we ate the again on the Friday, our last again, again it was excellent, certainly worth a visit.

Had a really really good proper homemade Sunday lunch here a few weeks ago, we were heading into Haverfordwest for shopping and tought about getting lunch while out, and I remembered a friend of mine saying the food here is really good, so instead of opting for your usual chain food pub rubbish we decided to go here, so pleased we did and will be back as soon as I get another chance. And at £9.95 it was cracking value as you get a really good plate full, my only thing I would suggest is to have a bit of background music on, at the time we were there it was only us and one other table and sometimes you had that slightly uncomfortable silence in the room, but apart from that everything was spot on.

Heard about Ye Olde Inn from a friend. Thought we would try it out for Sunday lunch. There was a choice of beef, chicken or lamb, the home made horseradish persuaded us to go for the beef. One of the best roast beef lunches we have had. Staff friendly and welcoming. Children seem to be welcomed and catered for.

Our local when we visit Pembrokeshire so in regularly, more often for a drink and a natter but the food is good too (my steak with all the trimmings was a perfect medium rare) and in very very generous portions (be warned). Note it currently only does food only on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday lunch. Always two real ales on, decently kept.

We visited The Ye Old Inn after hearing that it had recently been taken over by new management.. what a mistake! We were the only people in the pub at the time and the atmosphere was severely lacking with one room filled with junk. We opted to sit outside which probably wasn't the best move, a combination of listening to screaming children and hearing how the chef hadn't been well all week was definitely not appetising at all. We were surround by broken pots and general tat. The menu was limited and expensive in comparison to the venue. We wished we'd travelled a few miles up the road to a 2 rosette restaurant for pretty much the same priced meal and 10000 times better dining experience!!!

The food we had was a really good portion. If you wanted more veg, we just asked and they would bring more.also cater for kids. They are in the middle of refurbishing. The room we were in was lovely. Nice and bright with a lovely log burner. Lovely traditional pub. Would highly recommend for a Sunday lunch. I can imagine once the pub has been fully refurbished it will be a little gem in the heart of the countryside. 10/10.

Thanks to Kevin & Gaynor who were very welcoming at the Pub. This was my second visit since the couple took over the management. We will go again definitely and recommend this pub 10/10.

I have been to the Olde Inne on lots of occasions but was driven to writing a review by Maria's addition. As a non Welsh speaker myself I was amazed at her comments because I have never even heard Welsh spoken and my dog has always been welcome...The pub has recently been refurbished and it is light and welcoming, a huge woodburner for the winter nights and a garden outside for the summer...

We may have caught them on a bad night, but this has to be one of the most unwelcoming pubs I have been in to since entering a locals pub in Anstruther twenty years ago. We were looked at with distain, a local immendately changed to speaking in Welsh as we entered and they could not have been more put out to serve us especially when we asked the unspeakable of getting water for oiur dogs. Shocking.

We arrived at the pub with food on a wet evening, what a warm welcome greeted us. Not many people dining, however the food we ordered was delicious, hot, well prepared by the chef. Ye Olde Inn is a hidden gem, situated in idyllic rural surroundings yet just a few miles from the busy hub of Havorfordwest. This is a cosy old country inn with a log burning stove and a selection of fine ales, wines and ciders but the real discovery here is the food! Choose from a varied menu of sumptuous dishes, all cooked to perfection by new owner Kev or try a Sunday roast that is a cut above the rest...This is not pub food, it's fine dining, so best to book ahead! Visited Ye Olde Inn, Camrose, a quaint country pub off the beaten track on the B4330, and had a delicious dinner of braised steak in wine and mushroom sauce with Dauphinois potatoes and green beans. The new owners Kev and Gaynor are friendly and welcoming, and offer a great range of meals. Serving from 6-9 Thursday, Friday & Saturdays and 12-3 on a Sunday, it might be a good idea to book in advance as the pub gets very busy! They also serve a great selection of beers, ciders and wine- I would recommend the local Gethin's Cider. They cater for groups too- but again, best to book in advance so Kev can rustle up some of his delicious food especially for you!
