Great place, the pub is iconic and a beautiful pub. AMAZING staff. Lush food.

We still haven't eaten there yet but we will. Service is always great and they serve a really good Guinness in my opinion.

Superb value for money meal in a beautiful old building with friendly efficient staff. Lunch offer of fishfinger sub roll with delicious chips and alcoholic drink x 4 for £40!! Amazing.

Visited to view a historic pub. Disappointed unfortunately. Requires a 'makeover,' but still to retain its individuality. Expensive, had 1.5 pints which cost us just under £9. We left.

First time going in christchurch just for drinks, joe’s bar service was lovely, treated my gyal and me to some fantastic cocktails, sure to come again for food and drinks soon

Quite difficult to evaluate this venue. A couple of really friendly, helpful staff, a couple less so. Some fantastic food some very average. The drinks were good, the atmosphere was fine. The chicken wings and pizza were perfectly fine. The nachos were awful. That's a dish that needs re working from scratch, and at 15 pounds just no! We would happily return for the excellent beers mostly great service and fun atmosphere

When you are selling a pint of Fullers London Pride for £5.60 make sure it is Drinkable. Would not recommend any real ale enthusiast to use this establishment.

Nice little pub. Food was good, our server was great. Really friendly and polite. You could tell he was enjoying his day. Didn't catch his name but, he has a Dory tattoo on his right leg. Lovely chap!

Had the Monday special 2 for 1 pizza deal. Nice meal, good service. Just one thing, we were sat near the food store and saw staff bringing out bags of frozen food. I appreciate food isn't always 'made to order' but always remember an old boss saying when I was a waitress years ago, always bring food from the store in covered bags, never let the public see food you are bri ging from the freezer. Lovely quaint pub, good location. Worth a visit.

Visited this friendly establishment on our first night of a week's break in Bournemouth. Although food was just 'good', the entire experience including the service and cuteness of the pub, made this a 4-star review. Receiving a 50% discount off the bill was the icing on the cake!

Sadly probably the worst Sunday roast ever. Only 3 options, beef, turkey or vegetarian. Weselected the beef to which we added some pigs in blankets as the menu said served with potatoes and vegetabes with Yorkshire pudding. It arrived, just 2 thin slices of beef. with meagre offerings of vegetables consisting of overcooked and soggy roast carrot, some savoy cabbage and undercooked cauliflower. 4 tiny, non crispy roast potatoes, 2 pigs in blankets and a missing Yorkshire! Had to advise we ordered extra pigs in blankets (6 extra for £2.50) which I wouldn't have ordered at all had I known my dinner arrived with them! Then he had to go and get Yorkshire puddings. To top it all off the meal was flooded with far too much tasteless and very runny gravy. Absolutey no sign of any horseradish sauce or mustard. We paid £19.50 each for the roast. £2.50 extra for the pigs in blankets. Huge disappointment for the money spent. Wishing we had gone elsewhere like the Thomas Tripp or Darceys in Pokesdown. Far better quality Sunday roast served there for less.

Excellent friendly atmosphere and hard working courteous staff..Very good range of food and drink to cater for most customers, including vegetarian and vegan..can recommend the Naturist pizza. Three food and drink areas, two inside and one in the courtyard. Very dog friendly. We pre booked and reserved a table in the Barn room for the Ebgland v Serbia Euros 24 game... Several large screen TVs set up in every bar area for good view in every area. Great friendly mixed crowd of all ages from 18 to 80. I must commend all the staff who were welcoming kind and really worked hard on a very busy night...thank you

We went to the Olde George yesterday for bottomless brunch and had the best time. Even though it was very busy due to the food festival being on we still had table service and was never without a drink! Vicki who was looking after us was amazing. Food was lovely, came out very quick and great atmosphere. Will definitely be going back again!

Attended a bottomless brunch yesterday at Ye Olde George and the service was 5*. Food was fantastic and served promptly, drink menu offered a variation of drinks and a great selection of cocktails. Despite it being an extremely busy weekend with Christchurch food festival on, we were really well looked after by the team. Will definitely be booking another bottomless brunch soon and have already recommended it to others!

If you like Ale... Southbourne Ales: Grockles is a fab session beer. Pub is an old coaching inn with a large courtyard..quirky ..small bar but they are pretty impressive juggling half a million orders at the same time...food looked pretty good.

Came for a Mother Day Bottomless Brunch and the food and service was amazing, lots of attention and drinks from Vicky

Just went for a few drinks and ended up having just the one, quite pricey over £5.50 a pint and first beer served tasted like vinegar but they did change it, service wasn't amazing though. They didn't turn the pump badge around so would still have served the beer had someone asked for it

Stumbled across this place whilst out for the day in Christchurch (we are about 30 mins away in Poole) It has a cosy traditional pub feel inside. We didn’t go outside. Was delighted to see there were vegan options and a kids menu. Decided to go for a vegan pizza and share with my son. It was the best vegan pizza I’ve eaten out. Even the side salad was very good. The staff were very friendly and recommended a wine that was on special offer. Thank you

Lovely pub but let down by bang average food sadly, visited with family from Australia and was frankly disappointed with their fare, it wasn't bad just not very good considering the fact there's a lot of competition in the town for trade.

Unfortunately we went new years eve it was packed with youngsters, very loud. Staff were really helpful finding us a quiter place in the pub, excellent service

A friendly welcome here at this dog friendly Inn early Monday evening, drinks prices reasonable. The interior has a good feel about it, good outside space front and rear although the front obviously gets traffic noise. Friendly clientele also.

Spent a really nice couple of hours with friends of mine from the Christchurch G&S Society, after going to watch a really fantastic production of Joseph at the pavilion, nice end to a lovely evening😃

Booked a table to watch the F1. Very accommodating to all our requests, moved table, F1 on our own screen with volume up. Food was nice, even grabbed me some extra Mayo. Roast looked nice. Fair pricing. Good couple of hours spent there

Very Poor Service as they do not Cater for Wine Drinkers in as Much the Staff are not Knowledgable to Provide that Service. Have not tried the Food.
