Ye Olde Fleece in Gateshead

When I approached DJ he wouldn't let me sing 10:45 pm wouldnt let us sing it doesn't close till 10 to 12 people want to come home with ms & my husband which is wrong I bet if I were here earlier I would of got songs on the DJ is getting strict does he not understand I am the best not been big headed think they can do what they want this is a comment I'm not coming here no more after tonight ⁷/ 2 /25 you better believe it

Absolute dive of a bar. Been here a few times and the staff are disgustingly rude. The "regulars" are just as rude and make it a horrid place to drink. There are far better places in the high street to enjoy a good night out whilst avoiding this absolute dive of a pub.

The atmosphere at this bar is always great; the staff are friendly and welcoming, making it a great place to go for a night out. No matter what day of the week it is, you can always get a bargain on a pint of beer, with the Heed larger being just £2 a pint. It's always lively, with a great atmosphere, and the quality of the pints is unbeatable. I would definitely recommend this bar to anyone looking for a great place to have a cold beer; it's one of my personal favourites.

Great wee old fashioned pub with great music had a few drinks before going to the cinema and loved it. The girl that was serving was very chatty and friendly with all the customers excellent customer service

Dj needs to let people sing quickly, not play 5 songs between singers when 10 people are waiting 😤

The Fleece offers great entertainment, staff is friendly, fast and top equality, and beer is only £2.00 for a pint on weekdays. It's a lovely place.

The fleece is a warm friendly place to be made loads of friends me & my partner atmosphere brill what a welcome visit their is great music +I get to do my kind of song choice the DJs are class they get to sing while dj-ing can't wait til Friday comes around bingo on Mondays play your cards right Tuesday karaoke thursday s through til Mondays 8pm

Ok if ya desparate, it smells of the toilet blocks in mens urinals, enough to make your eyes water!! Thats before you walk in the door, its as small as someone's living room, very popular with the locals tho, always looks packed, ale isn't mega cheap

Lovely local boozer with real characters as customers. Can be intimidating for the well to do, but for your average Joe, you'll get in well here
