Can I just say a great big thank you to Hannah, Katy and Lucy for all their help with organising my wife's special birthday evening. The food was marvellous once again, everyone made comments as to how good it was. Nothing was too much trouble on the night with prompt and excellent service from all your staff. A special thank you to Poppy for her making sure everyone in our party was catered for, she's a credit to you. We will see you all again soon, very soon. Popped in for a drink as we've driven past the place a few times and the funky outdoor pods caught our eye. As expected, it's a really nice looking venue inside and out - a mixture of cosy traditional pub and modern bar. Inside, it's quite snug broken into three rooms - which all looked to have an emphasis on food. Outside, there's a large garden area with plenty of benches and a decent sized area for young kids. plenty of parking available. The pods looked really nice and looked suitable for large and small groups. Didn't try the food but everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked really good. Drinks were expensive and the bar service was quite slow.

All good, lunchtime visit. Not too busy, ideal for us to have catch up time with our daughter.

We went here for Sunday dinner as friends said it was an excellent Sunday roast. We were not disappointed. There is a very good menu which accodates for food allergies as well as vegetarian options. The meal I had was more than enough and the home made yorkshire pudding was fantastic

Cauliflower cheese was still partially frozen and sat in a pool of water. Roast carrots and parsnips were hard and undercooked. Nut roast was cold inside. When the bill came, we were charged more that the prices that were on the menu.

Amazing place to go eat or just have a drink. Always welcoming, staff can't do enough for you. Place is lovely and clean and well presented. Food is AMAZING, we haven't had a bad meal yet. Soon to try the new pods for a special occasion, very excited for that. HIGHLY recommend and visit. Also a lovely place to go sit outside in the nicer weather.

Great customer service, all the waiting staff are attentive and polite, can’t fault them. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice, no overbearing music or any loud groups. Nice low light and comfortable temperature. My wife had the ravioli and I had the garlic steak. The pasta was nice, and the steak was well seasoned. My only issue was that it came very rare, and it hadn’t rested so bled all over the plate, it was ordered medium. However, the waiting staff quickly took it back to the kitchen for another couple minutes in the pan, and they threw in some more fries. They were apologetic and it didn’t feel like any trouble at all. We’ve been visiting here for several years, and we’ve always had more good experiences than bad. I think standards dropped during the pandemic, but that’s to be expected as it was a challenging time for the industry. However, standards are definitely now back to where they were pre - pandemic. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a nice quiet mid week meal at a competitive price.

Sunday lunch was cold as were the plates.Do they pre plate then microwave?Ours had not been near a microwave.Previous trip for lunch resulted with 2 vegetarians of our party ordering veggie pies only to get meat pies.The did replace the pies but the rest of us had finished almost when they arrived.

Lovely meal and a cocktail, good portion sizes and a lovely atmosphere. Our young waitress was great too.

Absolutely amazing experience in one of the domes tonight! Lovely, warm and cozy. The atmosphere was wonderful. The waitresses did an amazing job too and were incredibly attentive. Food was phenomenal especially impressed with the gluten free options! Overall could not be more impressed. Thank you so much!

Had our Saturday nearest Valentine's meal there. Was great, second time I'd eaten there. Both times were truly delicious. Great food, great staff great location.

Food average expensive for what it is 1 had a thin based Pizza when it arrived it was cold steak pie was good the chips only average first time visit don't think we will be going again also had to wait 50 min for our food

Local friends ( Southwell ) invited us a dinner gathering . Luckily we get a parking space ( friend told most of the times was full , park road side nearby ). 1st look the Dome dining so interesting, but we only have indoor normal dining area 😞. Staff with nice services , the foods top class , as sure we will plan to return with Dome dining book . And one more’ prices reasonable & michilin presentation .

Quiet lunchtime meal for me and the group I walk with. Food was great but priced a little high for my pocket.

We went here to celebrate my brother in laws 40th birthday where we booked one of the larger seated Dome's outside to dine. To my surprise, the setting inside was lovely - heaters inside to warm the Dome and a speaker to play your own music through. Our server on the night - Ruby, was lovely, friendly and very accommodating and was great throughout the evening. The food was great too and everyone in the party all said how big their mains were, especially the fish and chips and pizza! The service was fast and efficient and drinks orders were flowing throughout the night - cannot fault the staff. All in all, I would highly recommend this venue for the food and service and would definitely revisit.

Disappointing Sunday roast I was excited to find a carefully constructed gluten free menu and good reputation, but was served a very dense Yorkshire pudding which I can only assume had been microwaved to make it so solid and rubbery that I couldn't eat it. I got 3 sad, small, pale potatoes that were soggy where they were even browned at all. My pork was nicely cooked but sliced very thin. Gravy was gluten free bisto (fine) and broccoli and carrot were fine, but one enormous parsnip compromised about a third of what was on my small plate. My 'crackling' was a scrap of uncrackled pigskin. I'd be happy with quality over quantity but sadly, I received neither. My partner was unimpressed with the same things, but his beef was nicely cooked (with a choice of pink or well done) and a nice Yorkshire - but there's no excuse for such rubbish, scanty roasties, and small portions offset by a huge parsnip! The decor was nice enough to ignore but we found the loud pop music hard to ignore. Staff were all pleasant and doing their best. All in all, this seems like somewhere that has designed the food and experience well, but is currently executing it poorly. We were happy with the starters - prawns and camembert, both were nice - but the main event was so disappointing that we wouldn't return for Sunday lunch. However - thanks due to the presence of reliable gluten free choices, we might give it another chance for regular menu at some point.

Excellent service today. the chef very kindly created a vegan sandwich for me when there wasn’t one on the menu. Also have the salt and pepper vegan fries - they were amazing and a very generous portion.

We booked here for a group of 17 people for lunch. All of us preordered beforehand and there was a mix of dietary requirements. Firstly, service was lacking, not very attentive, no check throughout the meal either, the server was very nice but not knowledgable on questions asked. Waiting times were incredibly long, for a three course meal we were still waiting for desserts three hours after arriving. Several people had to leave and cancel their desserts due to the long wait. About an hour or so wait between courses. I had the starter of sweet chilli cauliflower which was delicious, very well cooked and spiced. For main I had the Jerusalem artichoke ravioli, along with four other people in the group, unfortunately this was inedible. The ravioli had been cooked to a soft mush, there was no filling in most of the parcels, the watery sauce was so salty that it really was beyond unpleasant. Everyone who had this dish left some, or all, of the meal. Some of the other diners were unimpressed with their Christmas dinner, especially considering quite a high price point. One diner was given the wrong dish and by the time the correct meal was brought out the rest of the group had finished. When it came to staff taking away plates there was no mention of the left food. One of the diners raised the issue regarding the ravioli dish and was advised it would be fed back. All of us were charged full price for the meals at the till. I declined to pay for mine, as at £15 and half a ravioli parcel eaten, I was not prepared to pay for it. They did accept this and deducted it from my bill, I do feel however this should have been offered when full plates of food had been returned. I did not have a dessert as the vegan option was unfortunately just ice cream. Those that did really enjoyed their desserts however and they were a good size portion, particularly the crumble. Although for me just having had the cauliflower starter, and no breakfast, I left there pretty hungry and nearly fours later! The pub itself and the location is lovely. Not sure if it was just an off day and they were overwhelmed, but based on this experience today I sadly wouldn’t return.

My son’s 21 st Birthday tomorrow so today was a family meal for 5. Absolutely stunning food. Massive Yorkshire puds. Plenty of staff around so no waiting about. Leisurely afternoon with no hassle to leave. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Our 1st visit for the Dome Dining its been on my do list for a while . Closet we could find to home Loved it Warm with heaters on -2 out . Blue tooth speaker so we played our music . Food was lovely. The girl serving was fab Would Recommend Fab for a special party . Also got to see 50 plus young farmers in the christmas Tractors drive by We will be back .

Very busy but wasn't happy with my roast dinner. Meat tough, Yorkshire unedible, carrot hard, few Potatoes.

Had afternoon tea and can say it was absolutely lovely well presented and tasted great plenty of sandwiches and cakes Pot of tea each of well ! Definitely will go again

After being seated at our table it took quite a while for our drinks order to be taken, so when the waitress came we ordered our food at the same time. It didn’t take long for our food to arrive but was lovely and also nice and hot.

Great food , attentive staff and excellent service. Although when booking you are given a two hour slot but this was not mentioned and no rush to leave the table.

Service spot on. Very friendly & efficient. Lovely cosy atmosphere and decor. Food great! The pie could do with a touch of flavour or a slight kick, but personal taste. Sweet chilli cauliflower and panko katsu prawns were delicious. Sausage and mash the sausages were really tasty and meaty and good portions. Overall great!

AVOID!!!! Ordered two Ultimate Roasts ( 3 meats) , the young lady then came back and told us they had ran of out two meats (Beef and Chicken) BUT she said we can still have a Ultimate roast as they can just give us more pork but charge us £22.95, No thanks we will just go for the pork £15.95 please.. Our food arrived, it was literally stone cold. I told the young girl and asked if they can change it or at least heat the meals up. She came back a couple of minutes later with two different meals (smaller than the originals). i asked where is our extra mashed potatoes and cauliflower cheese we paid extra for, Whilst waiting I checked the food and it guess what the veg and majority of the food was cold except hot gravy they had put on the food. At this point i gave up and my partner was so hungry she eat her cold dinner, i couldn't eat it and when i asked for the bill the waitress asked why i hadn't eaten my dinner to which i told her it was cold again and i just couldnt be bothered to go through the same thing again and still receive cold food, she apologised and said she will take the meal off the bill and she went away to sort it, Then the manager comes storming over and says whats your problem? (abruptly) i said we dont have a problem apart from the food was cold. she said no it wasn't, Obviously it was otherwise I would of eaten it, she goes away and comes back with the bill and says ive reduced one meal by 50% yet i was told they would take the meal off. All in all very expensive, poor food and very poor custer service I will never eat from here again and id advice others todo the same

Flawless service. Superb food. Good choice on the menu. Ye Olde Bridge Inn has a well deserved excellent reputation. Attentive, immaculately presented, knowledgeable staff. Elegant and comfortable. The staff gave the impression that it mattered to them that we had a wonderful evening which we certainly did. Excellent 5 stars

Food was very good Service was friendly if a little slow (having to service the outdoor pods as well as the dining room doesn't help) but the dining room is very bland and completely lacking atmosphere. Also needs some lighting in the car park.

The pub is very pleasant. We visited on a very wet ,cold and windy day so it was lovely to see an open fire in the bar area. We had booked a table in the dining room and that is whenthe temperature went down hill . The room was very cold , no warmth in the decor and no heating . Our table was very close to a radiator which was freezing cold so we definitely did not enjoy our Bridge Inn experience A very light lunch ordered and it was lovely , though quite a long wait to take our order then a long wait for our food . The room temperature completely spoiled what could have been a very enjoyable experience . We will not be visiting this pub again during cold weather

Aware of people waiting for our table even though we had the table for a further 1 hour. Not a lot of food for the money although nice.

I had my baby shower here in the stables. There was 21 of us and it was the perfect amount, Staff were friendly and food was great. You get the room from 11am - 9pm which gave us plenty of time to set up and didn’t feel rushed. Only thing that would have made the experience better is if there was someone catering us drinks wise at the private bar in there as we kept on having to go into the pub to get drinks.

The beef was nice, but all the vegetables were hard 😕

Absolutely loved the dine at dome experience here. Cute and cozy for a rainy autumn night. The food was delicious, as were the cocktails (ordered from the Halloween specials list). The servers were wonderful, always had a smile on their face and a spring in their step despite having to keep coming outside in the rain (which got quite heavy) to us dome tables.

Real nice place, completely over priced for a pub meal, very poor menu, . Not worth the money.

Friday night again at the Olde Bridge Inn at Oxton We missed last week due to those horrible floods. Look forward to having a local news chat with Yvonne who is usually our server. She is quiet, attentive to our needs and always polite as are the other girls. The Olde Bridge is now our Friday night local pub, with quality food and a pleasant atmosphere. We fully recommend it.

The best pub! I’d always said I wanted to have my wedding at the bridge inn and what a place it is. Hannah was amazing throughout the entire preparation and everything just flowed with no stress due to her. On the day the staff worked so hard, the room was set up amazingly, the food was incredible and everyone commented on how nice the barn and pub were. We had more friends pop in that night to have a drink with us and again everyone commented on what a lovely pub it was. Thank you Hannah and the team for making our wedding day the best it could be.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED dining in these private domes. Lighting. Heated. Music speaker for your play list. There's is even a call bell for waitress service! Food wasn't the best I've eeeeever tasted however it was presented beautifully and I'd definitely eat here again 😁

Such an amazing place, delicious food, great service, we had my best friends birthday lunch here and they had a desert with a candle ready for my friend and its child friendly too. There is a kids menu for little ones. My little one loved it!! Thank you Lucy and team 😄. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back

Came for a celebration Sunday dinner with friends had a good time. The staff and service were great. However the Sunday roast was really pretty poor 1 slice of poor Quality beef, very few veg and a tough but impressive looking yorkshire. Given the price I don't think this is acceptable.. Other meals got a better review and apple.berry crumble was good if pricey. but definitely skip the roast which is the main reason to visit a pub on Sunday..

Booked this for a lunch treat for my parents, greeted by friendly staff, food was okay nothing special and thought it expensive for what it was £67 lunch for 3 people! It was ruined by being too noisy, also felt that the tables with benches were very tight and we are quite petite!

Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Meals came in good time and were excellent, so decided to have a dessert too!

Where do I start, right from booking of the venue. The number of times I called to make amendments thru to the food and the service . Everything was amazing and top notch. I am glad to have been there with my 12 other ladies in the new big dome. Definitely coming back and the ladies were in love with everything.

Found menu quite limited on choice. Ambience was not particularly relaxed, very bright lights, close tables so quite noisy. Waitress was slightly annoying, very forced calling everyone darlings and sweethearts which personally felt quite patronising. Maybe they were new or not completely comfortable in that role.

Disappointing this pub had been recommended several times so decided to pay a visit, staff greeted us and where lovely , we was seated served drinks but the wait in between waiting for staff was a massive let down, my meal was quite good but my mums was not so good , she had pork which was fatty and she could not eat it , the desert was a plain waggle and ice cream of her choice but was so hard even I could not cut it up , I did inform the staff and she did say I’ll let the chef no refund no took off bill , safe to say we not be returning, for a bill of £67 it was quite poor

Menu looked amazing on line and so was very excited to be meeting up with friends for a Saturday night meal. Setting was lovely albeit quiet inside with no atmosphere, all the diners were grouped together, with plenty of empty tables nearby which felt odd. No background music and very echoing (felt a bit like canteen dining). All four of us had something different and we all agreed that all of our courses were over engineered with too many flavours competing. Asian chicken felt processed. Curry wasn’t nice at all - too many conflicting tastes on one plate. Eton Mess - was the worst I’ve ever had. Very little meringue, just ice cream and too many berries (which hadn’t thawed properly). We only had soft drinks and tap water for the table but the bill was over £170 for four of us. Very disappointed and won’t be returning. At a time when eating out is expensive anyway it’s all the more important that it’s something special and feels worth the money. The only plus was the waiting staff - very polite and friendly.

Went here with my sisters and had a burger and fries. It was really nice my sisters enjoyed their food too. The vibe was chilled and eclectic. If you want to book the domes, I would say to book way in advance as they only have 3. Staff were kind and will defo go again.

We ate there last night....the serving staff were lovely, efficient and friendly....both starters were good but the skinny fries on my burger were over cooked, so couldn't eat them all....my partners duck was rather tough, wouldn't choose again.. The main problem was nothing the restaurant could have changed...it was the loud, rowdy party that came to sit alongside us.....they were constantly getting up and going outside, coming back, milling around....and just really loud....we left early because we couldn't make ourselves heard....not the pubs fault but for a bill of over a hundred pounds, there are better places to eat more comfortably and with fresh chips..

I wanted to give my feedback to the outdoor cinema last night. I feel like I found a complete hidden gem. It was absolutely amazing. So well organised and the set up was dreamy. So lovely staff too, everyone was so helpful. Big thanks to the chap welcoming everyone and serving the popcorn and the super lovely Hannah carrying so many pizzas around. Well done xxx

We really did enjoybour food, the mains, deserts and drinks were fab. With lovely members of staff serving us. The only thing that let it down was a table next to us for a 30th Birthday party who were extremely loud and started arguing with each other at one point. We could not even hear each other talk and felt like we were all shouting at each other. Obviously this was out of the staff's control but put us off visiting again unless we can have a private dome outside next time.

The Outdoor Cinema evening was brilliant on Saturday night! Great set up! Loaded chips were delicious 😋

Quite disappointed in the food, the tahini starter was tasteless, 6 of us had it and all said the same, and the beek crackers were dreadful. 5 people had the steak, at £25 each you would expect not to have to pay extra for fries and veg, £25 and it comes just steak on the plate, not even a garnish! I didn't eat it but some of the others said it was fatty and not cooked as they had asked. The veg had barely touched the pan and virtually raw, the scampi over cooked almost burnt.. A lady was constantly vaping on the opposite table and nothing was said, i thought it was banned inside, sorry, not impressed, won't be returning

Came for an evening meal with my mum, there was no disabled parking. In the garden area there were a group of school children who were swearing profusely, with an adult, they were customers, behaviour was not challenged. Bar lady who checked up into the...

Had the roast sirloin got 1 slice only of very fatty beef which i couldnt eat. Others in the group had pork and got 3 lovely looking slices. Not sure it is justified to charge £1 more for the sirloin and give 67% less meat....

Food was good had most of the tapas menu. My fav was the nachos. Found the pork over cooked and chewy, mentioned it to the waitress when she cleared the table and asked how it was and she said it was the second time that had been mentioned that evening, obviously didn’t learn from the first feed back but over all was a nice meal. Was made better when I got my bell and it had been reduced to compensate for the pork belly

This being my second visit in a couple of weeks. We were welcomed nicely on arrival, staff were all friendly and helpful, having booked this table for my daughters 18th. We had to go up to the bar to get attention to order drinks after waiting 20 minutes, we were getting anxious as felt forgotten. The drinks and meals order was then taken at the same time, then we continued to wait for the drinks to be delivered, which again seemed to take forever. Happily though they arrived and virtually straight after so did our food. We really enjoyed our meals, they were really well presented and very tasty. There also was plenty! We would definitely return but might order drinks at the bar on arrival. As the same thing happened on my first visit. Overall - Food lovely, Staff lovely, Service slow.

Me and my partner visit the bridge often for food drinks the fabulous atmosphere and brilliant children’s play area today we took my mum and dad to use the meal voucher they had won at our school leavers disco they throughly enjoyed it pizza and...

First and last time eating here ,went for Sunday lunch yesterday 3/09/23. our table was infested with flies due to the tables not being cleaned, this place needs to invest in some pest control. had to eat dinner quickly to avoid flies landing on food. the sunday lunch got served on what is basically a side plate .the food quality was OK to good but please serve this on a proper dinner plate, it looked like a child's portion. our table was under the gents toilets who's windows were open .not brilliant really. bar service incredibly slow, allways a que ,gave up trying to get a drink In the end. overall a very disappointing visit, and as mentioned our last . in need of improvements Mr k piggott Nottingham

Great village pub. Sat outside, lovely warm evening. Great beer. Food looked really good but we didn't have any this time. Car park can get very busy. Update: Disappointed that the prices have been put up so much. £20 for the vegan burger, fries and a small side of coleslaw in my opinion is too much. Still great food but for us, this have to be a treat rather than a regular go to.

The menu choice is very limited and very expensive for what it is. Steak is 24.99 without sides and a bottle of Pinot Grigio (cheapest white wine on the menu) was £26! Dessert menu even more limited than mains and almost everything contained chocolate so...
