Monday lunchtime so quiet but the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent.

The atmosphere when arriving was really welcoming and the smells coming from the restaurant were lovely. The food was amazing quality and portion size. Service was very good but we did have to ask for the bill.

This is our first visit to Ye Olde Bridge Inn, the food was plentiful and the service was great and there was a lovely family atmosphere, we will certainly be going again. Ken and Ann

FANTASTIC! Booked a Dome for a birthday gathering which was fabulous. The service was superb, they give you a buzzer so you can order and a speaker to connect to and play music through, we had such a great time and the food was spot on. I would definitely recommend the Bridge, the staff are brilliant too and were on it from the start, can't thank them enough for helping to make the day a special one!

Food is fantastic, staff are brilliant and a lovely cosy atmosphere. We had a couple of sunday roasts (one a nut roast), a couple of burgers and a kid's burger. All the food was great and the service was top-notch. Will definitely return.

Was looking for somewhere local to the Tithe Green Natural Burial ground that could accommodate 10 persons for lunch, visited a few places the week before and booked at Ye Old Bridge Inn. We were not disappointed and had lovely meal, thanks

Delishious! Had the pie and mash...so so nice, full of flavour served with a rich gravy 😋 The coffee (Americana) was huge and very much enjoyed. Service was very good, making the whole experience very pleasant, will definitely be visiting again.

We had a combined birthday party this weekend and the team was very accommodating . The table was perfect and in a quiet area of the pub . Aesthetically from the pictures on the website the place looked amazing .. The decor was cute inside and the stables was really lovely for summer vibes The first round of drinks were left on the table behind us by a staff member by mistake , it wasn’t until a party member saw them and realised they were ours so she had to reach behind her to retrieve the order , also our pre orders were all wrong and we had to re order again at the table . The dishes are very mixed reviews in the fact the vegan tacos were a hit as was the prawn starters, however the Caesar salads were very very disappointing, the lettuce was limp beyond help , and very soggy . I was ravenous and when it was placed before me I wanted to cry , we asked for a fillet to be added on top and we got the dishes back with some vegan oomph covered in bbq sauce - they were truly dismal for the high end prices and quite frankly they looked like they needed mouth to mouth resuscitation Two other main courses including a burger main bun was burnt to a crisp and the patty very dry flavourless and also disappointing. And one of the chicken fillet burgers had to be sent back as the fillet was dry , over cooked and inedible . The pizzas for the kids were good , and the pies looked great . The service was very good and the waiters and waitresses accommodating and sweet , the waiters were unsure of which starters were vegan and which were not which made the non meat eaters feel a little uneasy . An apology was fed back to us from the chef and a 20 % reduction made a little difference , however the items which were being fed back as inedible should have been removed in my humble opinion . In all honesty some of us left feeling somewhat deflated, as we all had very high hopes for this establishment , and as a family of foodies and chefs it wasn’t the culinary experience we had hoped for some of our party but overall was a pleasant experience

Went for a lovely Sunday lunch with our dog. We were in a quiet room which meant we missed out on the Christmas atmosphere, but can't fault them for that, we had a great meal

My friend and I ate here yesterday evening. The decor and ambience were great. As was the food we were served. However, the service was very amateurish. Examples include: - We were seated but not brought menus or offered drinks (we asked for menus after 20 minutes) - The waiter took my friends food order, then turned and left (I was not offered food, this was very upsetting) - My friends dessert came, but with no spoon to eat it with - My friend ordered an extra drink but it did not arrive Very bizarre. The staff seemed very young and whilst friendly they were clearly lacking in any sort of training or organisation. This could be a 5 star pub with some more experienced staff.

Our first visit here & we were delighted with the Sunday roast. We went for the Ultimate roast! The roast beef was outstanding. Topped with pork loin & succulent turkey. The stuffing was perfect, crispy on the edges. And a gnarly price of crackling. Yorkshire puddings were the tastiest I've ever had! Service with smile. Couldn't fault it. Highly recommend! We will be back.

Booked a table of 8 people including 2 grandchildren for my husband’s birthday. Hannah was amazing, after being unable to book online I emailed the restaurant and she sorted us a table even though they were very busy. She emailed me back quickly to answer any questions I had. The meal was lovely, grandchildren ate almost every bit ( little one is very fussy but he finished his whole meal) Service was excellent - staff regularly checking if food was ok and if we needed more drinks etc. The pie and mash was delicious with large chunks of steak, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their pizzas, burgers and chicken meals. My daughter is coeliac and had plenty of choices and she said her meal was delicious. Brought us plates and a knife for the birthday cake - very accommodating. Many thanks for such a lovely evening.

It was our first time at Ye Olde Bridge Inn, it was recommended by a colleague for our work Christmas Lunch out. The recommendation was really good, I have to admit the staff were all very polite, friendly and very helpful and the food was really good, I cannot fault the food at all. It was quite busy and everyone was being served both food and drink by the very few staff members that were on duty. Although this led to a slight delay in service, not by much, 10 minutes or so. I would definitely recommend Ye Olde Bridge Inn, as a good place to go for good value food and service, in a wonderful place.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming and relaxing. The food was excellent, with plenty of options for vegetarians. The staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely come here again! ☺️

Fantastic meal tonight haven’t been here in a few years. by God I was shocked with how nice it looks after a refurb. Staff was very friendly and Helpful and made sure everything was good with our meals It was our best meal out we’ve had an over a year will definitely be recommending to friends and coming back credit to the chefs 🍔 ❤️👌🏼

Another amazing meal here with my step dad, the food is incredible, the interior is beautiful, but ultimately it’s the staff who make it so special, they were so busy, but first class service as always. It’s a special treat pub, for us, but worth it every time. Thank you

Amazing experience, fantastic staff!

Place was very busy as we arrived but we were seated and served very quickly. Nice to find that the voucher I was given on our last visit was still valid. Food was really lovely, full of flavour and well presented. We thought all the staff were lovely, professional and courteous throughout the meal. We will definitely visit again soon.

Went for a Sunday roast, and it is gooood. Everyone’s meals were excellent, well cooked meats, good roasties, impressive Yorkshire’s tasty veg and genuinely lashings of gravy. Orations a lot bigger than expected so great value for money, fast service and really nice staff. One member of our group is Gluten Free and they went the extra mile to ensure everything was gluten free, rare to find somewhere that does a roast where literally every dish is gluten free so no missing out, really impressed by this. Will absolutely go back

My first meal here and really enjoyed the brazed steak pie. My wife had scampi and said said the chips were the best she had all year. Will definitely make sure we visit again.

Absolutely gorgeous food! Today i had the parmesan chicken from the autumn menu and it was delicious! By far my favourite meal I've had here, so good that i thought id leave a review.

We have loved this pub/ restaurant for years, after just visiting we were hugely disappointed. The Sunday roasts are served on small plates so children’s portions are received, the stuffing was so small, and the crackling was the size of a 50p! The worst thing is the service, I actually felt like I had put the staff out by being there. So disappointed, the usual family who are there were always so helpful and friendly. ☹️

We booked a pod for a family gathering and we all had a really nice time the atmosphere and the staff and the food was amazing the young waitress that was there is a credit to you business

Had a wonderful meal last night celebrating my dad’s b’day. Food was outstanding however the service from Sophie is what truly made the experience out of this world. She was attentive without being overwhelming, she knew her products and was able to give us recommendations, her friendly manner made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant. This pub has the best pub food I have ever had, second to none. It is more like good restaurant food. Visited from reading a review and was blown away and after this, this pub became myself and friends go to place. Visited tonight for a work retirement do and all of my colleagues were blown away by how amazing the food is. The pub itself and decor is beautiful and the staff are amazing. Visited here today weds 18th Sept 2024 on our way home from Southwell. Plenty of parking and lots of outside tables. We sat inside, menu was ok though a bit pricey to what we normally pay. Food was good, well presented and hot.

We came here on bank holiday Monday for a family meal, I’d booked a dome as we came here before last year and saw how cool they looked. We had a speaker in there to connect our phones to - to play our own music, loved that! Fairy lights and a fan which was perfect as when we got in it was a little warm. All food was beautiful, it’s not often you go out for dinner and can say that all 3 courses were great. You have a little button to press for a waitress but we didn’t actually need it until the end to ask for the bill because the staff were so attentive. Upon booking a £45 payment was taken for the dome, I thought this was a deposit but it was a hire payment for using the dome, completely my error for not reading the small print but for a special treat or an occasion this is perfect. The play area at the back is great, lots to do including trampolines and a big play park. We will definitely be back, thank you 🥰

Food was sublime, we really enjoyed the lunch set menu options. Service was impeccable too! Khaya catered to our table and she was an absolute pleasure throughout. Definitely worth the trip!

Have been a number of times in the past but felt our most recent visit was a let down. The staff seemed to not care, they weren’t great when dealing with food allergies and the food which we received was adequate. Not sure I’ll rush back.

Lovely as always - we keep coming back! Food is always delicious, really accommodating of allergen requirements and very friendly staff. Menu changes every so often, so you always have something new to try. The outside area is lovely, and suitable for so many different occasions and celebrations. Highly recommend and will be back again and again!

Fantastic choice of place to celebrate my 30th birthday with family! We had a dog friendly private dining area. The staff were very attentive. The food was fantastic for everyone. We had starters and main. The staff then brought out my cake and gave me a card too. We couldn’t have asked for better. We will most definitely be back!

We got to the pub 4ish on a Sunday. We had a table booked. When we got there we were told there were no more Sunday dinners left!! We were offered either sausage dinner or the vegetarian dinner. I had a salad!

Had to pre order 16 oz steak ,which the only option cooked ,was well done,also when it arrived it was only a 10oz ....very disappointed

Lovely pub with good food but the old woman behind the bar was really grumpy and a bit rude. Maybe she was having a bad day, but that wasn't my fault.

Another lovely meal at this nice location. Sat outside and enjoyed the outdoor seating Food was lovely and I think my Greek Bean Salad was the best I’ve eaten in a long time Homemade Nachos were really good! We also ordered the Parmigiana Chicken Burger which was loved by the person who ordered it.

Popped in for a drink as we've driven past the place a few times and the funky outdoor pods caught our eye. As expected, it's a really nice looking venue inside and out - a mixture of cosy traditional pub and modern bar. Inside, it's quite snug broken into three rooms - which all looked to have an emphasis on food. Outside, there's a large garden area with plenty of benches and a decent sized area for young kids. plenty of parking available. The pods looked really nice and looked suitable for large and small groups. Didn't try the food but everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked really good. Drinks were expensive and the bar service was quite slow. Update: been back to try the food and was as good as it appeared in photos. Had the mini fish and chips and tacos. Fish and chips was outstanding. Update: Been back several times now, all good I've tried has been outstanding.

We went here for Sunday dinner as friends said it was an excellent Sunday roast. We were not disappointed. There is a very good menu which accodates for food allergies as well as vegetarian options. The meal I had was more than enough and the home made yorkshire pudding was fantastic

Nice place, perfect for young kids with a great outdoor area, shame the food let them down, starters were nice, got the sausage main and had lumpy mash, found a whole boiled potato in mine. Someone else got the same meal as me and they got barely any mash compared to mine, when they asked for more they were told they would need to order more! Friendly staff and nice atmosphere just a shame about the food and how they handle dissatisfied customers.

Such a lovely establishment. Large children's play area. Outdoor pods are a quirky bonus. A giraffe. Lovely food. Excellent service from pleasant staff. Khaya in particular was excellent. Highly recommend this for a fabulous dining experience.

This pub we pass a lot on our travels between Kelham and Nottingham via Southwell. We moved to Kelham about a year ago and like to go out for Sunday lunch as a family. We have tried other freinds recommendations around the area, where we live and have been really Impressed with the standard and presentation of the food. We decided to try this pub last Sunday. Nice welcome on arrival, and duly sat at a nice table. A young waitress looked after us and was very efficient all the way through our meal. We placed our orders and the food came out. The food looked nice but on a closer inspection my meal was served wrong, but the waitress soon changed it for me. My wife was dissapointed in her meal as there was only one slice of beef and the size of the plates were small compared with other pubs we have visited. My elderly father had a child's beef and he also had 1 slice which was fair enough. I made a comment, only having 1 slice of beef, then a team member brought my wife another slice. The Cauliflower cheese was a bit watery and the stalks were tough. The taste of the food was good but for the price of £18 for a roast, and only 1 slice of meat this was not good value for the money. The Yorkshire pudding was very big and it made it hard to navigate the rest of the meal with being served on a small dinner plate. Like I said earlier the service was great and deserved the 5* rating.

The food was marvellous once again, everyone made comments as to how good it was. Nothing was too much trouble on the night with prompt and excellent service from all your staff. Cauliflower cheese was still partially frozen and sat in a pool of water. Roast carrots and parsnips were hard and undercooked. Nut roast was cold inside. When the bill came, we were charged more that the prices that were on the menu.

Amazing place to go eat or just have a drink. Always welcoming, staff can't do enough for you. Place is lovely and clean and well presented. Food is AMAZING, we haven't had a bad meal yet. Soon to try the new pods for a special occasion, very excited for that. HIGHLY recommend and visit. Also a lovely place to go sit outside in the nicer weather.

Great customer service, all the waiting staff are attentive and polite, can’t fault them. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice, no overbearing music or any loud groups. Nice low light and comfortable temperature. My wife had the ravioli and I had the garlic steak. The pasta was nice, and the steak was well seasoned. My only issue was that it came very rare, and it hadn’t rested so bled all over the plate, it was ordered medium. However, the waiting staff quickly took it back to the kitchen for another couple minutes in the pan, and they threw in some more fries. They were apologetic and it didn’t feel like any trouble at all. We’ve been visiting here for several years, and we’ve always had more good experiences than bad. I think standards dropped during the pandemic, but that’s to be expected as it was a challenging time for the industry. However, standards are definitely now back to where they were pre - pandemic. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a nice quiet mid week meal at a competitive price.

Sunday lunch was cold as were the plates.Do they pre plate then microwave?Ours had not been near a microwave.Previous trip for lunch resulted with 2 vegetarians of our party ordering veggie pies only to get meat pies.The did replace the pies but the rest of us had finished almost when they arrived.

Absolutely amazing experience in one of the domes tonight! Lovely, warm and cozy. The atmosphere was wonderful. The waitresses did an amazing job too and were incredibly attentive. Food was phenomenal especially impressed with the gluten free options! Overall could not be more impressed. Thank you so much!

Food average expensive for what it is 1 had a thin based Pizza when it arrived it was cold steak pie was good the chips only average first time visit don't think we will be going again also had to wait 50 min for our food

Local friends ( Southwell ) invited us a dinner gathering . Luckily we get a parking space ( friend told most of the times was full , park road side nearby ). 1st look the Dome dining so interesting, but we only have indoor normal dining area 😞. Staff with nice services , the foods top class , as sure we will plan to return with Dome dining book . And one more’ prices reasonable & michilin presentation .

Quiet lunchtime meal for me and the group I walk with. Food was great but priced a little high for my pocket.

We went here to celebrate my brother in laws 40th birthday where we booked one of the larger seated Dome's outside to dine. To my surprise, the setting inside was lovely - heaters inside to warm the Dome and a speaker to play your own music through. Our server on the night - Ruby, was lovely, friendly and very accommodating and was great throughout the evening. The food was great too and everyone in the party all said how big their mains were, especially the fish and chips and pizza! The service was fast and efficient and drinks orders were flowing throughout the night - cannot fault the staff. All in all, I would highly recommend this venue for the food and service and would definitely revisit.

Excellent service today. the chef very kindly created a vegan sandwich for me when there wasn’t one on the menu. Also have the salt and pepper vegan fries - they were amazing and a very generous portion.
