No food sold but very decent priced pints and a lovely atomosphere. The jukebox is a fun addition and everyone working there was extremely lovely. I would definitely recommend.

Stopped for a beer and it became a couple. Landlord was enjoying a pint at the customer's side of the bar. Gave helpful informative views on ale selection. Fairly quite though local sewing group were busy when we left. Great to see locals making use of the premises.

What a lovely old pub, beer was good, inside was so traditional and reminded me of pubs my Dad used to use. Shame that when i was having a drink with my wife after a long walk the landlord talking to the only other customer (who he obviously knows) he was swearing every other word. I am used to being in pubs and hearing some bad language, but my wife wasn't impressed. Perhaps he needs to learn that customers dont need to hear this when visiting when on holiday.

As I arrived for a morning pint I was confronted with an extremely rude and aggressive man in a red t-shirt. With great distain he demanded that we do not come before 12. When I enquired if they sold Murphy's he replied "we don't sell that s**t in here". We decided to take our custom elsewhere.

Small, old and very low (duck or grouse) pub near the centre of town. Very much a local regular pub and can get a bit of a squeeze on Saturday nights. There's a yard/seating area out the back. Quite a good selection of real ales (Adnams). There's better pubs in St Neots if you're not a regular.

Since Pete and Sue took over a year or so ago (2011), Ye Old Sun has improved way beyond what it ever was, and it was never a bad pub. Always an excellent selection of real ales, and proper pork scratchings, not mass-produced Mr Porky stuff. In the colder weather, the fires are lit keeping the place warm. Music from the jukebox is rarely loud enough to be obtrusive. No TV. Food served, but I've not tried it yet. Typical pub fayre

We were only in St Ives for the one night....found Amore in the afternoon, had a couple of glasses of wine sitting by the water watching the swans. We enjoyed it so much, decided to book a table for the evening. It didn't disappoint, lovely food, friendly staff and a very relaxed atmosphere. I would definately go back.

For those of you using the helter-skelter please read! if you have an under 4 it's £3 entry... for everyone else just £1.50... Not at all discriminatory! Enjoy your day! 🐊 Public service announcement number 2. When your three year old gets offered sweets by the Witch in the woods, she will snap the jar shut and make them cry.... it's ok though... she will direct you to the sweet shop down the road which charges you £3 for a lolly. 🎃 However the place itself is great just want warn parents this Halloween half term
