But the food is so spicy I ordered this one before and it wasn't like that

Disappointed with the Salt and Pepper Ribs. They were tasty enough, but for the price £6+the amount was very disappointing

very expensive, and you don't get much.

Food was cold… there was no flavour to the munchy box the curry was plan and the chicken was not spicy

Ordered from here a few times previously and the good was great. However this time it wasn't enjoyable. The chicken was tough and dry. Added chow mein to my meal for an extra £3 or so and it was just plain dry noodles

Chicken curry was nice but forgotten the chips would order again

Food was disgusting crispy duck was cremated.. salt and pepper much box couldn’t eat as was too salty .. apart from chips thrown away

Took a meal to go here. The food was tasty, but not a 100% match of what we were looking for. Certainly can have a meal here, but we will probably try another place.

The fried squid and chicken balls are horrible. But salt and pepper chips and chicken is really good.

noodles were burnt rang up to ask for no sauce on one of the all in ones and the women on the phone was quiet rude

Guys .. have loved your food for ages .. and this one again no exception so not wanting to drop any marks .. but PLEASE PLEASE go back to the battered onion rings and not those horrible breaded ones. I can bang them in the oven for about 50p, certainly they're not worth £3.70. But as I say, minor niggles .. thanks again!

First time ordering from these guys and gals since moving into the area, top quality food, delivered bang on time and piping hot. Delivery driver nice and friendly too so will definitely be ordering again, cheers guys 10/10 :)

Lovely food! We’re a bit further than the usual delivery zone but the restaurant communicated ahead of time there’d be a bit extra to pay. Lovely and hot despite the extra distance and the driver was super lovely! Thanks guys

Food was lovely as usual but the delivery time was appalling. When order was placed the eta was 45 minutes. An hour has passed when I rang for an update only to be laughed at down the phone - a woman. She then put the phone down on the counter for a couple of minutes and I could hear her shouting in the background - a lovely man spoke to me in the end but her customer service was shocking. This is our regular Chinese and so disappointed by this - food was another half an hour from thag pgone cal

Hot and sour soup was awful, pancake roll soggy otherwise was edible

Everything was glupy even the curry sauce soup was the worst pick it up with a spoon and just a gelatinous mess waste of money first time ordering will be my last

Great food and service, highly recommend.

First time visit for us. A cash only establishment, which is clearly indicated by sign on counter. Ordered chicken chow main and chicken balls sweet and sour with boiled rice. Chicken was nicely cooked with lovely crispy batter. The rice was nice and the sauce was tasty nice. The other dish was served in a round container and was tasty, a little too much oil for me but that was easily drained off, the taste was the main component. The service was swift, food was piping hot when we came to eat it. The waiting area was fresh and clean and a large leather sofa to sit on while waiting. Definitely be back when next in the area.

Food was lovely bit tight with the chicken there was maybe 8 pieces for £7.20 🙁

Food was luke warm, chips were cold. Most went in the bin.

tasted nice but was over cooked so chicken was quite tough to eat and other bits were over battered so chicken wings had nothing left on them.

I order regularly from here my food was fezzing and late

Never again ordering from here again.food was rotten. munch box …, chicken weren’t salt n pepper just cooked normal, chicken wings were scraps , nothing was salt n pepper about it . If you want a gd salt n pepper munch box I wouldn’t order from here. All went in the bin !!

Best Chinese in Darlington easily, just decent Chinese food each and every time.

Food was late and cold tonight. Tasted OK but needed to be warmed up so the chips went soggy!

Curry was too sweet and had a gloopy texture and had more mushrooms than chicken. Chips were like bullets. Not the best and we have had much better from there previously, so maybe just an off night

Taste was unreal , the bag of prawn crackers was huge would of done a whole family

Prawn crackers were very poor quality for such a large order (I’d rather we were just told to pay for the fresh ones). Quite cold but overall was quite good!

1st time ordering from Yarm road Chinese and it will be the last. Chips were far from crisp as tho they had been microwaved. My special curry was tasteless and chewy. My wife's crispy chicken was lacking in chicken and what was there was far from crispy. 1st time leaving a bad review and 1st time still feeling hungry after spending £30 on food. Sorry guys but that was bad!!!

Absolutely awful food. The rice was stodgy and we couldn't eat it. Never had such a bad Chinese in my life. Very expensive and really poor.

Food was terrible, ordered the salt and pepper beef and there was no beef at all. Food was cold and just tasted like battered flour. Complete waste of money. Prawn crackers were undercooked and greasy too and chips were not crisp and soft in the centre. First time ordering here. Definitely won't be going back.

Wouldnt go back. Duck rice was ok, chiken balls and sauce were fine but £3 for a tiny portion of salt n pepper chips were not a pleasant eat.

Ribs were luvly....actually ate prawn toast aswell and don't normally like it as everywhere else is really greasy but this was nice

I was notified that there would be a delay. The delivery driver was very apologetic and this is only the first time it's happened.

Really tasty, seem to be as good as the best I've had before. Looking forward to trying them again for more dishes!

Have ordered takeaways twice from here first time was the meal for 3 and couldn't fault it second time we all ordered individually and we were all disappointed as prawn toasts were overcooked and hard not crisp and foo young was a well done folded omelette l could go on will not use again

I ordered the meal at 5.00pm to be delivered at 8.00pm I had to phone up twice and it was cold and 25 minutes late .will not use this Chinese again
