The food was to greasy and the battered and chips were cooked enough

Can't rate the food because it doesn't even arrive, guy I spoke to on the phone was absolutely useless. Basically I ordered through Uber and the Uber driver took my food said he had delivered, 0% help from Uber and from the shop. Downright theft. Bunch of thiefs. Avoid this shop wouldn't use it if it was the last place to eat on earth.

Food was average. Batter on the sausage was very greasy and not much corned beef in the pattie.

food was delayed. the batter was chewy, thin and -quite litterally - dripping with grease. the chips were dry, and the portion size was tiny. Very expensive.

Food was delayed, was undercooked and batter wasn’t crispy in the slightest. A bit disappointed tbh.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Ordered twice from this place via just eat and will never order from here again. The first order a week ago was two gyros wraps and paid roughly £18. The food arrived a little late and was luke warm at best. We assumed this was down to just eat, not sending a driver in time, and thought nothing of it. The food was pretty good. We decided to order again this week, and we ordered their box meals for roughly £16 each. This time we got three messages from just eat to advise that the delivery would be delayed, it was now 21:00 and we had to be up at 06:00 for work the next morning, we called the takeaway directly and arranged to go across town and collect it ourselves. The manager said he would call just eat and arrange for a refund of the delivery charges, and we went to get our food. Upon returning home and opening our order, we found that the food was stone cold and inedible. We were also shocked at the portion sizes as they certainly did not balance up with what we paid compared with our previous order! Essentially, we paid twice the price this time for one extra pitta, six haloumi fries, and the boxes they came in!!! We called them directly and requested a refund. The manager agreed, and we went back with the food and was told that they had once again called just to eat to arrange a refund back on to our card. We thought this would be the end of it, and we chalked it up as a "sign" that we shouldn't have gone for a cheeky mid week takeout. A few days later, and still no refund from just eat, so we contacted them, and they have refused to refund us. So we have been screwed by this place and just eat, who will also be getting a one star review as this is not the first time they have provided shoddy service.

appalling customer service, my flat buzzer is broken so I left a note to say to ring me but he didn't and when I eventually found out he was at the main entrance to the building my flat is in he moaned at me and tried to make me feel like it was my fault when it was his for not ringing as I specified on the order note he had to do, worst Just Eat experience I've had

one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time, was very quick too.

Always lovely but today’s order disappointed with heavy batter. Warmed up I think try elsewhere next time.

Absolutely rank got a sausage chips and gravy for £6!! Chips were cold and felt like they have been sat for a while the gravy if u can call it that was Luke warm brown water and the Sausage iv never had batter like it it was Chewy and was also cold. Never again

Chips lovely, fish bites lovely, cheese patty was average, gravy was lush hut mushypeas where not great. Sadly never got to try the battered sausage as my daughter said it looked like a sad dragon and I was forbidden to eat it 🤣🤣 would order from here again as everything was great minus the mushy peas.

From being notified food was on its way to delivery took 30 mins. What turned up was stone cold, looked undercooked and was soggy. Slush was completely melted and can of coke was in with food and somehow warmer than it too.

The spam fritters were lovely, but the parmo was not as expected. It seemed to be made from reformed chicken not fresh breast

chips amazing as always but I'm afraid the parmo was a frozen reformed chicken pattie so will steer clear of this in future

All the family had a good meal curry sauce a little week

everything hard and dry as though it had been sitting round for ages. I won't use them again, waste of money

great portion size and taste was incredible finally a restaurant that knows what a half pounder look like

We had food just after it was delivered and about 30 minutes later i started to feel unwell. Since then I've vomited it all up and am not well. My wife has also started to feel unwell too. This is all we have both had to eat today so. Can't be much els. The fish was rubbery and stringy. Left half of it.

False advertising. Parmo made with chicken fillet? Which part of a chicken is brown, flat, processed. Worst iv ever had! Cheese was nice though.. Kinda made up for the mystery meat

Hotshot parmo was a bit of a let down as don’t think there was any bechemel sauce on, cheese and pepperoni were nice but chicken really poor processed quality, looked flat and grey. Chips were good. Garlic slightly runny. Delivery driver polite and courteous.

Perfectly cooked here on time food hot what more could you want 🙂

Chips were "rubbery", far from fresh.

Disappointed. chips where old and probably cooked in old oil they had no colour or fresh taste whatsoever. Will not be going back

I am not impressed at all. The pizza is burnt and non tasty as well as the fish and chips

Ordered cheese burger, bun was burnt, burger was hard and the cheese had been put on so early it has almost melted to nothing. Also got a "jumbo" fish and chips, fish was barely standard size at best. I will not be ordering from here again.

Pizzas were not bad. Chips were lovely but chicken Parmo was not good. Cheap thin chicken.

Ordered large peas, a small one came. Ordered large cos it wasn’t large. Chips were over done and the food was cold.

Food was 7/10, meat quite dry, not a lot of garlic sauce or onion in the doner wrap. Lots of chips but not much flavour. An extra doner meat wrap and chips were sent also, not sure what happened there. Good value for money though. Thanks very much

Fish was so dry and over cooked to death it is unedible chips are stone cold the only good thing is the gravy

Not a proper fish n chip shop. Overpriced, small portions, too greasy, cold, badly packed, unsuitable opening hours, drivers in and out and shouting in a foreign language which is just rude. Apart from that, they were polite and friendly but I'll never go back.

Delivery driver brought one item (pizza) and forgot three, had to go back. Pizza and chicken burger were decent, but chips were an abomination, went here cos thought they’d be proper chip shop chips and they were just wet potato.

The food would have been good if it had arrived on time, but as it was 20 minutes late arriving it was cold. I got a text message at 6;32 telling me my order was on it's way, it finally arrived at 7;05, when it was ordered for 6;45, as i'm a diabetic on insulin it is important to eat regularly 20 minutes can make a lot of difference

Ordered food for delivery to work app said delivered and wasn’t phoned up said will be there any second .. 20 mins later it arrived barely warm had to heat it in microwave as had waited ages for food and couldn’t be bothered messing about, batter was think and stodgy curry had no taste and bread bun wasn’t buttered for the price absolutely want worth it a little bit gutted as yet to find somewhere nice in Darlington for food at work other than a Sunday

Don't think I've ever ordered from here before but was really craving fish and chips and they were really lovely! Big portions and food arrived piping hot. Curry sauce was really nice too.

Chips were great as usual but the parmo base was that soggy the paper from the box was coming off with the parmo. Had to sit and pick the paper off before eating and had to throw most.

Arrived 10 minutes late but positive is the food is hot the negative is very greasy and burnt food

Ordered a hot shot parmo. It came without any chillies/jalapeños on it.

The large chip portion was HUGE! The chips were lovely with a nice buttery taste. Arrived hot which is good as other places I’ve used have been lukewarm to cold. Definitely will use again.

Kebab meat was burnt, wrong slush sent. Called and fresh kebab sent with free bottle coke. Everything else was good.

We were not impressed with our food as the chips were cold, the nuggets tasted out of date. The Donner kebab wasn’t the best as garlic sauce didn’t taste like garlic sauce more like sour cream.

Absolute joke accepted the order waited 1.5hrs for it to phone up to be told the driver had to come back as it weren’t close enough (top of north road) really bad customer service

Although my order was 5 minutes late, the lady that did the delivery did apologise, the food was wonderful as usual, will order again from them.

Kebab was supposed to have salad, i expected tomato lettuce n onion not cabbage.Kebab meat appeared to be burnt on the edges and everything was clumped together apart from pitta. Cod bites tasty and hot, unlike the chips. Two poor deliveries lately. So wont order again.

The haddock is wonderful. Soft and flaky inside, crispy coating outside. The scampi was very tasty, flavourful and fried perfectly. However, the onion rings lacked flavour. And the mushy peas were not authentic.

Amazing food, portions are massive not like other chippys definitely worth it

The food arrived quicker than was scheduled which is a plus. But I'd rather it arrive late and actually decent food. The burger was absolutely disgusting. I bit into it and grease and oil dripped out the other end. My partners wrap was stone cold. He didn't even eat half of it. Definitely won't be ordering from here again.

Cold food.missing food. Did eventually bring the missing food but cold when turned up. Mushy peas were like a cup of water. I am shocked how someone can get fish and chips so wrong.
