Simos Pizzeria & Italian Takeaway in Darlington

Food is quality 👌 and their chips are always fresh which is a good sign, prices are also fair would highly recommend in darlo.

The man who answers the phone is beyond rude. Phoned to make a big order for collection and he slammed the phone down on me when I asked if it would be longer than 30 minutes. We are regulars here and this isn’t the first time he has been really rude on the phone. After tonight I will never order from here again, has to be the worst customer service i have ever encountered.

Gone totally downhill, used to be great but now food is basic , and customer service is dire still waiting for the salad that wasn't delivered lol and if they don't have the answer to the problem they hang up and you can't get back through, won't be ordering again

Staff were shocking and disrespectful food is not fit for my dog even when I offered the dog it fresh and still hot he chose to lick his own back side and go to sleep

I try to pay by card and staff said minimum £8 plus £1 extra for card payment....Really.... Nonsense.

Speak to customers with no respect been over an hour waiting for food they were rude when I rang up and then as I was speaking they ended the phone on me.

Best place about. Always ask for Yas, makes a mean garlic bread and delicious food with on point customer service. I don't know how to order online and Yaser was very compassionate and helpful. Would recommend everyone go here, better than Chef Shabbas

First time ordering from here tonight and we were very disappointed, to say others had put 5 stars but hadn't left comments when making there review. The salad and pittas were fine but the kebab meat was bitty, the garlic sauces were watery, the curly fries were hard and overdone and the chips were like rubber with a soggy taste and smelt burnt. Won't be coming here again unfortunately

Ordered food 4:15 never come rang at 6 told me they set off rang again at 6:45 they ended it on me as I were talking not answering now

Really nice meals staff were really friendly. Travelled from Manchester for the parmo and horse racing. Can’t wait to try out more of the menu when we. Are back again.

Don't get the donner may aswell be raw did ask for it well done but never listen

Went to store picked up a large donner pizza got home other end of town and no donner on it..anyways after few words on the phone explaining that we lived over the other end of town they sent out another and by the looks they purposely made it the thinnest they could..absolutely shocking service we where long serving customers of yours and we won't be spending anymore money there again..

Orderd a kebab to open it to have no pitta or salad and about 10 scabby chips and freezing cold Donna rang to say that they had forgotten the pitta and salad for then to be rude on the phone and put the phone down very poor service

Been using Simos for years. Pleasant and efficient staff in shop. Never been let down with delivery service even though the pandemic. Spot on.

Got a kebab box and have not eaten since as been crippled with stomach cramps, severe diarrhoea, and a fever, typical signs of food poisoning. Don't order from here!!

They don’t know the meaning of the word customer service, speak to paying customers as if they are a nuisance and are giving their food away which all things considered would better than charging for dry, tasteless and cold food.🤷‍♀️ Maybe some training in customer service and food preparation and hygiene is required!? Oh and they can’t estimate a reasonable timescale for delivery 1 hour they say then 2 hours later you ring to see where your food is and it’s “on it’s way” please don’t use the takeaway it’s really a waste of your hard earned money.... 💁‍♀️

One item was missing, rang up and was told that they will send me another one out which came very quickly with the missing order item as well ! I wanted to pay for it but the driver was faster than me. Excellent customer service and lovely food. Thank you

The food was disgusting no donner meat in the rap the pizza must off Been cooked for 20mins and sat about as it was stale and hard plus only had 15 chips on top of a london Pizza as counted them missed a garlic out I will never order from hear again and I suggest no 1 else does because you will be really disappointed!!!!!!!!

We have never had such disgracefully service in all our lives these people are so oblivious to customer relations they should be shut down there food was dry and over cooked and also 30 minutes late when shop is 5 minutes walking distance away really??? All in all liars and thief's and rubbish they also can't add up check your bills people

Ordered food at 18:03 rang them up at 19:25 and hadn’t even been cooked..

got a large donner kebab and chips no sauce with kebab pitta wasn't cut to put meat in ... very bland will not go again

The food is nice. The parmos are spot on.

Many times I go here and every time the food taste amazing. The people are always friendly and busy working. An excellent choice for your takeaway as the food is always generous in portion and fulfilling your hunger. My tops picks are the chicken kabab, the paramo burger, and the cheesy chips. They are all mouth watering, so go get you some mo Simos, I got my paramo burger, so delish. :)

Very average. Dry overcooked pizza. Not recommended
