Bit more rough and ready in this branch compared to the far more nicer staff further down towards the Cornmill. I kind of refuse to go in here and will walk further down to go to other branches. Been in here 1 time in 6 months, mainly because when i did a too good to go order, don't know if the app was wrong but i arrived well within the collection time, lights off and they appeared long gone. There's a certain amount of time after closing you naturally need to turn the lights off lock the place up, move the racks around, prep for tommorow, there was none of that so rhey must have done the locking down within .25412 seconds, to this day i struggle to see how they could have closed to customers and locked up and left through the back/door without me or my friend even seeing sight or sound of any of the staff. Strange but since then, i rarely use this branch, orsered a pasty, judging by the older staff, i wished i hadn't bothered, the younger staff member is lovely though.

I am honestly surprised that Cooplands isn't that well known around England. In my experience with both places, I firmly believe that Coopland's is better than Greggs. The staff here are amazing, the food is pristine and fair priced. Would go here all the time.

If the Manager (High Row) smiled her face would crack, what an arrogant women, she has no customer service skills whatsoever. The way she spoke to the young girl working here was utterly disrespectful.

Great service today as usual, wonderful selection of pastries, sandwiches, cakes and breads. Particularly liked the Halloween themed cakes and gingerbread men. Their loyalty card system is very good too, every 5 stamps gets you a free treat so worth checking out. The customer service is always excellent too and little things like "have a nice day" really make a difference. Keep up the great work cooplands Darlington.

Absolutely brilliant staff at cooplands high row Darlington great value for money especially the 4 sausage rolls but my favourite is the chicken and bacon salad £3:50 really filling and inexpensive. While people are struggling with the virus the staff always seem to be smiling and always very helpful. Really love the place top Mark's all round ♥️

Ordered burrito and loaded nachos as an evening takeaway meal. Burrito was mostly rice, dry and almost flavourless. Loaded nacos were stale tortillas topped with plastic tasting cheese and a few scattered jalapeños and kidney beans. Probably the worst burrito I've even had and whole thing cost me just a little shy of £20. Restaurant should be embarrassed to be serving such subpar food
