Quite simply outstanding.! The staff bent over backwards to accommodate my friends and myself. The food was amazing and nice large portions. We came back Sunday but we’re too later for breakfast but the girls still made two of my friends a sausage and egg bap and the others had roast dinner. They even helped me find a hairdressers. Just a great find! Thank you so so much!

I found this little gem when my bus stop was temporarily moved (opposite the swallow hotel, 10 yards on the left) so I popped in for some lunch. The great array of dishes made my decision a difficult one, jacket potatoes, panini's, homemade burgers and sandwiches to name a few, I eventually decided to have the hot beef bun with home made chips and a cup of tea. Proper Yorkshire tea and beef that melted in your mouth (just like Mama used to make) and the chips were to die for, did I mention they were homemade. Comfortable and clean with friendly staff I will defiantly be back.

Tucked away on the edge of Durham Kane industrial estate (but the full on the way in!) this little cafe is a haven of peace. Simple menu including sandwiches, paninis and salads. Friendly staff. Lots of free parking.

Popped in here whilst work was being done on my car nearby. Owner (I think) was lovely, very chatty and willing to help with my food intolerance. Apparently they serve gluten free paninis, would be a lovely little spot for lunch.

We had takeaway but the atmosphere in the cafe whilst waiting was lovely, very helpful and welcoming owner, noticed the 'washererupper' was doing a fine job! The soup was delicious and a huge serving, hubbies butty was very tasty too. A great little addition to a walk in the park (forgive the pun!) You've got to visit this little gem.

Have visited this place for years and it never disappoints. Serves the best food in Teesside and beyond. We have been to many Michelin Starred restaurants and the quality of the food here is on a par. First class food but with generous portions and without the fuss. Its exceptional value for money.
