This place was so good it had great staff and they were all kind.The food was out of this world from how tasty it was. The price was afadoble for the food potions which could make you full. Great hygiene clean plates and utensils. The atmosphere is moden and very pretty. My Waiter was very patient and kind to help me pick the best food .

Genuinely one of the most delicious places I have ever eaten and the staff are super polite and responsive. It can be a little pricey but honestly I don't mind as I always leave feeling satisfied.

Cancelled a large Saturday night booking with less than 24 hours notice because a larger party had booked. No apology. Really poor customer service. Will never visit their restaurants again.

We recently had graduation party at Yara, the food was excellent and the hospitality snd service were outstanding . Highly recommended

Lovely food. Atmosphere wasn’t great but simply because of the lighting and I’m fussy. Food took a while to come out but the waiter gave us a free desert for compensation.

Food was lovely but service was non existent

We've lived in the area for over 20 years but had never thought to try this place. It's far nicer inside than it appears from the outside. The food, environment and service were all exceptional, as was the range available to people with dietary needs (we had a vegetarian and someone with Coeliacs in our party). I'd very highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The salads, chicken wings, falafel, breads and houmous we ordered were absolutely delicious. Best take away we've had in a long time. A new firm favourite!

Major disappointment. I was really looking forward to their lamb chops. When they arrived, the quantity looked good, but when I bit into them, they were overcooked and dry as a bone. Seriously disappointed. ☹️ The chips were nothing to write home about either. Sorry folks.

We have been to Yara restaurants for years, always a great experience, this time not that great. Food is always great, I think all the chain uses the same ingredients. So if you have been to any of them, then you know the food. Excellent and freshly prepared. This time it was a strange experience, we booked our table only to be shown a table that is so close to the door in a cold rainy day. We objected but we're told the restaurant is booked, although it was nearly empty. After objecting we were shown a much better table. We ordered starters, mains . Half the starters arrived and then the other starters arrived with the main together with extras we didn't order, we were told this is on the house. When the bill came, it had the extras and also other items that we didn't order so had to point it out From start to finish ,this was not the usual Yara experience we are used to in other branches.

Really great food and helpful with gluten sensitivity. The sauce that comes with the kebab is incredible.

We had to wait 1 hour 45 minutes for our food. Service was not good at all - food mediocre. Don’t recommend!

We ordered a takeaway tonight. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. Friendly helpful staff, amazing food. Can't comment on the atmosphere as we didn't eat in. The restaurant looks well presented though. We intend to return very soon.

Lamp chops were really disappointing. Very bad taste and smell looked like prepared from spoiled meat .I have just discard it.

Excellent choice of authentic food of the Lebanon and Syria. First class service. Taste refreshing and reminded me of the Eastern Mediterranean cuisine. Some wines from the Lebanon, also superb quality. Highly recommended.

It's a great place for families and couples. The waiter / bar manager is a Portuguese lad and he is just the best! I totally recommend it.

Delicious good value healthy food

Recently went out to dinner here. Lovely ambience and the staff were really helpful with suggestions. We ordered hummus pitta bread and mahmarra for starters which were delicious. Mains we ordered mushaka and chicken basha which were okay and did not do much for the taste buds. In hindsight should have ordered some grills but can try again.

Superb taste, felt like we were in Lebanon. The Chicken Sultani was fit for a king, the mujaddara amazing, but the kibbeh was the outstanding piece for me. Well done.

Great food. Staff are amazing and so helpful. They are willing to adjust any food options as needed. We were in a group of 5 and we had an amazing night.

Nice and accommodating staff. Could have been a little more attentive, selling more drinks when they ran out. Offer corkage which is great option for a bottle of wine. Food was ok. Lots of options and veggie options.

The best Lebanese restaurant in Manchester. I liked the bamiah and hummos shawarma.

Was a really nice and clean restaurant. I got the chicken shawarma and my partner had the lamb shawarma. Lots of meat in both, and came with fresh hot pitta. The lamb was really tasty and tender but the chicken was so so dry. It came with a little pot of sauce that helped, and it did have a nice flavour. Overall a nice meal

High-quality food and beverage! Waitperson are pleasant and professional, good at explaining the foods to us. We had a happy lunch here.

My first visit to Yara in Chorlton. I went with five ladies to mark a special occasion. Greeted and shown to our table. Took a while to take our drink order, meal orders. The food was absolutely delicious. The young man who waited our table offered service with a smile 😃

We've only had takeaways from Yara but they've been unfailingly delicious! The freebies and sauces (tonight a yummy cucumber and yoghurt salad) they kindly throw in are also so good. Thank you, Yara 😊

Amazing food and a great atmosphere for a night out with friends

Exceptional food, we had 6 starters and rice between us which was more than enough! All servers were lovely and made us feel so at home. Definitely returning with friends, fantastic place!

Lovely setting inside to greet you, unfortunately didn't have the staff to match. The theme throughout the night was slow and at some points non-existent service. The food was good in the end but we just weren't hungry having waited nearly 1hr 30 before our mains showed up. Could scrape a star back but it would take some serious work.

One the 9th May I went back for this great experience on my Birthday. It did not disappoint. Unfortunately I have lost the names if the staff. But they were a young man with a beard and a tall young woman. Overall, the food was lovely and service was attentive but not overbearing. They accommodated us very well especially as we had brought a board game. --------- I am reviewing the Yara Restaurant in Chorlton, Manchester. I have been to this outlet twice in fairly quick succession and have been impressed with the standard of service and food It is the same menu as the Altrincham one and I assume the other ones. The food is delicious and flavoursome. The service is nowhere near the Altrincham standard. The staff in Chorlton do not give you an overbearing feel and do not rush you out of the restaurant. One time in the Altrincham one a waiter stood at the table waiting for the bill payment when we were not ready. A fantastic meal at Chorlton, thank you Aida and Sisi. You were the exact opposite of Altrincham, well done!

Nice modern deco and looks very clean. Enough space between tables and chairs so your not squeezing in to sit down. Unfortunately non of the staff came to greet us or any other customer when we walked into the restaurant. When we were seated we had to wait for a while and grab the first member of staff to take our order or for anything we needed. We ordered mixed kabab and chips and a vegi dish with rice. More staff needs to be hired and training given. Food was nice, but I won't be rushing back there any time soon

Delicious food across the whole menu. The best thing is that it tastes like someone made it at home. I think it’s the best compliment any restaurant could have. Highly recommend.

The standard of service has gone down as we had to wait a long time for our mains. I don’t think we will be back. It spoilt our evening.

Visited the chorlton branch last night on Saturday with great expectations. Very disappointing. Starters just about okay but mains were very below average and few items tasted and looked as though they had been heated in the microwave. At over £55 for the two of us this was simply not worth it given the great choices of similar food around Manchester at a fraction of the cost. To add to our woes the service was horrible with staff who clearly didn’t want to be there nor really wanted us there it would seem!

Food was great, authentic Lebanese dishes and great ambiance, Lebanese music playing. Amazing customer service, Palestinian/Romanian waiter lady was so attentive and welcoming, made our first visit very special. Would definitely come back.

We came on a Sunday afternoon for a light lunch. There was not a single other person here.. However, having said that it's a nicely presented place with white napkins and tablecloths, the service was great and the food was to die for. They also serve alcohol unlike some middle eastern restaurants and the house wine was delicious and very reasonably priced. Overall I would highly recommend!!

Delicious food and lovely staff but there is no need for alcohol to be on the menu. Food and atmosphere itself is good enough. Otherwise 10/10.
