Fantastic food, incredibly friendly staff, very quick service. Our server made sure that none of our food had allergens.

I had the halal English breakfast, the berry French toast and a mocha. The breakfast was delicious and perfect portion size. I felt full when I finished the plate so didn’t think I would be able to have the french toast but boy was I wrong. The french toast was fluffy and moist. Hands down the best French toast I’ve ever had in my life. The atmosphere was lovely. We sat in the heated seated area at the front and the vibes were immaculate. Chilled out and sipped our coffees until we had to go. 10/10 on all fronts. The Staff were amazing. Attentive, kind but not pushy.

The owner is a very nice person and so is the staff. I had English breakfast. The best halal hash browns and sausages I have ever had. Turkish tea with delight was very delightful. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

Food and service excellent! Can't believe a recent customer gave 1 Star. Echo is amazing and goes above and beyond expectations to fully cater for all customers. He knows where all his food is sourced from and food is always fresh and cooked to order. I get the feeling that some customers just want to sabotage businesses to get a cheaper bill.

Since i have allergies I requested for a dish without the allergens but the staff were lost. Waited almost 2 hours for the dish to come and turns out it had the allergens so had to re order. The food was so bad and the staff are slow. Do not recommend👎🏾

The wait time was not worth the quality of the food. I would never come here again the food was atrocious and not worth a 3 hour wait. They also got my order wrong multiple times which resulted in an even longer wait. They are extremely understaffed with one person running around the whole restaurant getting every single order wrong. They also tried to bribe me with Turkish delight which looked stale and tasted disgusting. 😒

Plenty of menu choice for lunch, very reasonably priced. Great for vegetarians with lots of more unusual Turkish dishes, plenty of English too. I had Shakshuka with warm fresh flatbread and a coffee, perfect quick treat.

We came to the new Saray- portokal For dinner. They are no longer serving dinner in the week so we said we would come back. The owner was so warm and friendly and the new renovation feels warm and inviting. We will definitely be coming back soon for dinner wt the weekend.

Great taste in a location that is easy to reach after a short research. Those who do not visit will be deprived of this taste.

Le dije a mi familia lo increíble que era el desayuno turco en Saray, así que todo el mundo estaba deseando este desayuno increíble. Nos quedamos muy decepcionados cuando llegó el desayuno. No se sirvió con té turco y solo 2 panes planos entre 3 personas. Creo que los nuevos propietarios han cortado algunas de las cosas que se servían anteriormente con el desayuno como aceitunas mermelada frutos secos etc aunque han aumentado el precio. ¡Lamentablemente no volveremos a cenar!

The food here is consistently good. Been about 5 timers and have yet not to enjoy my meal. Staff helpful, and the tables are not crammed together.

Booked a table in Saray for my 50th birthday. The food and service was amazing, couldn’t fault it. There were 7 of us and we sat in the outside eating area. My partner also took balloons and a cake before the booking and the owner was very accommodating. We had a fantastic evening.

We arrived at 9:40, although it looked open from a long road, it was closed when we arrived, we came all that way for nothing.

I come here every Eid and the food and atmosphere is always amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We don’t have to wait too long for the food and it’s over all a great experience. Thank you :)

Nice hot food...reasonably priced

I don't normally leave reviews but these guys go well above and beyond! After performing a panto round the corner, they managed to accommodate 28 of us at 10.15 with no hurry to rush us out even though we were there for ages, and the food is incredible. Everyone really enjoyed it. Massive thanks to Saray and the whole staff for being really lovely. Nothing is ever a problem! If I could leave more than 5 stars I would!

Absolutely appalling service. Please don’t order from here if you are Muslim! Ordered the halal breakfast and they gave pork instead of halal sausages and rashers (i could see they looked very pink and fatty) I called to ask if they can make the halal instead and I return the one they gave but they said no because it’s a loss for them. I was not able to get my refund on just eat either. What a waste. Bad customer service. Avoid.

Good turkish food. We ordered a Turkish sausage sujuk toastie which came with a side of fries, sucuk omlette and hummus which came with a piece of turkish bread. Everything tasted good, thanks Saray!

I’ve Visited a few times now food is lovely my favourite is the garlic prawns. Staff even went out there way to make a sucuk pizza for my son who is very fussy with food and rainbow mocktails which he was really happy with made he’s day. In all you can’t fault anything most importantly staff are lovely and welcoming.✨

One of our most favourite places to go for food in Chorlton. Have never been disappointed, everything has always been delicious, and the service is always amazing. Can only recommend!

We went here yesterday. We drove about 45 mins to get there only to wait another 45 mins for our food. The waiter forgot our order which was unacceptable given that there was only about 5 tables of people and it was breakfast time. One of the kitchen staff came to apologise and then took another half hour to get the food on our table. We drank almost 2 pots of tea before the food arrived. We were not pleased.

Nipped in on a whim because i was hungry and didnt want pub food and i am so glad i did. The food was beautiful, the atmosphere was claming and relaxed and the the service was exceptional. Will definitely be coming back soon.

The food was great, had a burger and a salad with my partner. Service was quick, but the food wait time was a bit longer than expected due to a completely empty restaurant, but nothing too bad. The salad looked amazing and tasted the same. The burgers can use a bit of smash on them because it’s nearly impossible to bite the whole thing in one mouthful.

Went for a Turkish Breakfast. Everything was 10/10. From the service to the food! The gentleman that served us was very professional and nice.

By far our favourite place for authentic and tasty Turkish food. Everything we have tried so far has been amazing including the fresh warm bread. If you want something off menu then nothing is too much trouble. The owner is very attentive, friendly and has a great sense of humour which makes the whole dining experience a complete package. It’s a must try if you are in the area.

A friendly welcome. Standard Turkish food. We shared a meze platter and ordered some kebabs and a couple of bottles of Turkish wine. No other diners.

Ausgezeichnet um ein richtig gutes englisches Frühstück zu essen! Und bitte nicht mit Toast, sondern mit dem türkischen Brot welches täglich frisch gebackene wird, essen. Man kann schön draußen sitzen und die Menschen in Manchester beobachten. Ich empfehle es! Ich habe das Frühstück um 12:30 Uhr gegessen, 😅

Came here for breakfast with the family. It EXCEEDED our expectations. The food was delicious, choice of music was great, and the hospitality and friendliness that the staff radiate is just special. I strongly recommend visiting this place - they seem to also do lunch and dinner.

10/10 !!! The nicest Turkish cafe! Prices are so reasonable and huge portions of food! I went for lunch today and ordered a full English and it was the nicest breakfast I’ve ever had. The Sausage & bacon was cooked to perfection and cooked throughly. And I was offered the choice of Turkish bread or regular bread. I tried the Turkish bread for the first time and it was unbelievable! Genuinely the best loaf of bread I’ve ever had! I highly recommend the fresh bread! My dad ordered the club sandwich with fresh chicken and Turkish sausage and it was unreal! We ordered a pot of tea to share, and it lasted us 4 cups each! Honestly the best cafe I’ve been too! The quality and service is 10/10 We enjoyed our visit here and will be back again soon!

Really great food, the starter platter is simply amazing, we couldn't manage a desert after the sizzling chicken and sizzling meatball dishes, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. A very warm welcome from Eko and his Team Thoroughly recommend

Truly delicious food, and such variety. My partner and I only discovered this place a couple of weeks ago and have already been twice! We’re both vegetarian and there are tonnes of options which are tasty and also feel quite healthy. The bread is the best I have tasted, and we would really recommend the Esme. The host is so kind and attentive and gave us a free dessert as I am pregnant so eating for two!

I’ve been coming here for years but haven’t visited since around November 22. Didn’t know it had new owners untill we arrived, restaurant is still as nice as before but obviously the food has changed. Didn’t realise untill we were seated and it’s no fault of the owner, chefs etc but I got my usual dish and it was completely different. I didn’t eat any of it. Waitress offered to change it I said no because I didn’t want anything else knowing it’s all different. It was no fault of there’s but also no fault of mine so expected the dish to be taken off the bill. I didn’t eat any of it yet got charged. I have anxiety and I felt awful asking for it to be removed but I shouldn’t of had to, Ive previously worked in hospitality for four years and it was basic courtesy not to charge customers for something with one piece of meat missing. It was full of oil and the meat was rock hard. Waitress was lovely but service was not the best. Would not go back

I asked in the notes to remove the tomatoes and mushrooms from the breakfast as I can’t stand them and don’t like the food waste but they were left on. The toast wasn’t buttered. If you’re going to pay a lot for a breakfast you’d hope it was right.

If you're partial to Turkish cuisine in Chorlton, this is the place to be, day and night. Portions are bigger than you see at first sight. Ingredients are always very fresh, without fail. Would recommend to anyone.

The food was very standard. At other Turkish restaurants we've had home made out of the oven bread, but here we got a tortilla wrap which looked like it had come straight out of a supermarket packet. There also seems to be a language difficulty with the guy running the restaurant.

Not been here for quite a few years due to covid etc but last minute decided to go tonight. Eko was lovely we talked about turkey and what we love best. Shared stories and made us feel really welcome. Most importantly the food was amazing even a fussy teenager had empty plates. Will be back soon not leaving it as long this time! Thank you

Amazing food and atmosphere very friendly people 👌

Food was alright, great bread but salads were a bit weak. Maybe it's a culture thing but service was bizzare, so slow. Waitress poured my beer out and it was literally 50% head. After starters we waited 20odd mins before we had to ask for our plates to be cleared and mains served, we should've taken more notice of the uncleared tables when we arrived. Walked up to the till to pay at the end otherwise we might've still been there now.
