Ordered at 21:00 now it’s 22:50 still haven’t received my order phoned 32 times still haven’t picked up the phone after trying 32 times someone managed to pick it up said 5min my order will be here 5 min past order still haven’t received phoning them again to cancel the order no answer poor customer service won’t be ordering again

The complete opposite of most desert places. The delicious smell of the baked goods just makes your mouth water. The staff are 10/10 they don’t rush you to decide even if they are busy so you can truly decide on your top notch purchase. It will make you forget about other desert shops and keep coming back for more.

I recently visited this amazing restaurant and was genuinely impressed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual dinner or a special occasion. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. What really stood out was the food — every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I tried the grilled sea bass with lemon herb sauce, and it was cooked to perfection. The sides complemented it so well, especially the roasted vegetables. Their dessert menu is also worth mentioning — the chocolate fondant was rich, gooey, and absolutely divine. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food and service. I’ll definitely be returning soon and recommending it to friends! Sanam was the best as well! Fantastic dessert shop. They've got a wide variety of desserts and are always mixing up the menu with new specials and seasonal favourites. I'm especially fond of the white heaven milkshake and the mocktails. The waffles have recently had a new recipe and are a must try. Fresh donuts made here too.

Best milkshakes out there in the UK. Friendly customer service which makes you want to come back always. Even though they are always busy, they ensure you’re not waiting long to receive your order. My number 1 choice for desserts always💯

It’s my first time coming Yannis and it was one of the best experiences I have had the waffle sticks were amazing and on point. Nothing was wrong with it as I have been other dessert shops but Yannis is one of the best experiences, the staff are amazing and wonderful and so helpful with serving the food and recommending what would be the best for your liking. As I like Oreo and Biscoff they made me an Oreo and biscoff waffle stick which was out of this world 👍🏽 If your looking for an outstanding dessert come to Yannis as I will be back as a regular :)

I just had the most amazing experience at yannis and I can't wait to share it. From the moment I stepped inside I was greeted by the sweetest aroma of freshly baked goodies. The vibe is super cozy and welcoming making it the perfect spot to indulge in some delicious treats I couldn’t resist trying their famous chocolate cake and wow it was so rich and moist definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. I also had to grab a scoop of their oce cream Seriously every bite was a little piece of heaven The staff were absolutely lovely too they were so friendly and eager to help giving great recommendations. If you’re looking for a place to satisfy your sweet cravings you definitely need to check out yannis Trust me you won’t regret it

Food 5/5 but milkshake went everywhere needs a sticker on top to stop them from spilling everywhere, really good milkshake and donuts.

I orderd my food from just eat last night and i will tell you the food was amazing ok they did forget to put my oreo milk shake but i tell you they maid up for it the gave me a large insted as my was a regule amazing service thank you

Love Yannis and come quite often with family. However every time I order a Oreo milkshake and kinder bueno milkshake they all come as kinder bueno. Not all of my family like kinder and so chose Oreo just to be disappointed. Wouldn’t really matter if it was a one off but this has happened many times.

Had some desserts delivered by Yannis and I must say they were perfect and delivered within 15 minutes of me having placed the order.

The strawberry mocktails are amazing, kinder waffle and strawberries came nice and warm with soft cold ice cream, delivery arrived very fast. Very impressed. Thumbs up 👍🏼

Regularly go here for desserts, I can be a pain as the fudge cake needs to be very warm but the staffs are awesome and always looking after me when I go there. 10/10 for me!!

Ordered through just eat last night & all I can say is wow. Waffle was fresh, amazing, and filled with toppings and chocolate. The milkshakes were the tastiest I ever had, full of flavour and nice and thick & to top it off the sundae was absolutely gorgeous, again filled with toppings, sauce etc. Will 100% be ordering again thankyou!

I came from Walsall and was disappointed with everything 😞 the desserts were dry as left out not moist and not fresh sorry won't be going again. My friend had a cake with custard, the custard tasted watery and not nice! The milkshake was awful so I didn't finish it, I just left it there and told the lady. Very disappointed as reviews were positive.

we are the usual customers for this dessert place and as a mum my kids love their chocolate and strawberry doughnuts it brings them joy and my oldest loves their Belgium bubble Waffles which are the absolute best! We ordered today and we only had two strawberries on the donuts and after the complain they had sent us 8 free doughnuts with amazing toppings which is really respectful and kind of them! Love how they actually care for their customers! Nice place but I prefer delivery all desserts is fresh and delicious

It doesn’t even deserve half a star they have no ear drums food is like rock, orded and the put milk chocolate on when I asked them just for white chocolate then went to the shop and they didn’t put my strawberry’s on and just gave me the waffle with white chocolate doesn’t make sense always messing up orders and food always comes cold.

Small dessert shop in the quieter portion of normanton road. Well made desserts with speedy service generally. The shop itself is nice by the atmosphere is ruined but the horrible TikTok music and the fact that it’s quite dead as no people eat in usually. I would generally recommend collection orders but the shop itself is clean (if you decide to eat in). Personally, I would recommend the chocolate brownie sundae or any of their milk-cakes.

Ordered 5 deserts. 4 of them being waffles. Took 1 hour 20 to arrive and was all freezing when we finally got them. Such a shame

Absolute shambles of a desert shop. Asked for a custard n brownie the guy bought it out luke warm, considering it’s freezing outside I thought it would be a good choice. Anyway ting was Luke warm, I told the lad. He then took it and reheated it, didn’t bring it back to me for 5 minutes even though I did remind him. When it come it became like acid, it was done. Finished. Melting straight through any surface. The lad got me a different desert. Apple crumble. Decent. Finished it. After I finished that I told my friend to taste abit of the brownie custard. It was so hot it didn’t cool down at all. Overall experience terrible. Mojitos are nothing special. Service is slow. And the girl at the back preparing- USELESS! If you want terrible desserts. Come to this place. :)

HAIR IN COOKIE DOUGH!!!! A simple order done wrong. 2 cookie doughs with white and milk chocolate only came with milk. Found a long black hair in my cookie dough on my second bite I was pulling it out my mouth. So disgusting they should be wearing hair nets! Rang up and they said next time I come they will put white chocolate on No thanks won’t be coming again. Female staff was on. Not happy !!!

Yannis Desserts has the best and most Delicious Waffles and Crepes I've tried in a while. Definitely worth a visit to Yannis Desserts on Peartree Road, Derby. The Strawberry and Lemon & Lime Mocktails were amazing and really refreshing. I tried out a Delicious Milk Cake. The Assortment of flavours are absolutely sublime. Don't get me started on the Indulgent Thick & Creamy Milkshakes with a Hot Cookie Doughs topped with Thick Ice Cream my kids loved them.😋🥳🤤 all 10/10.🥰

Disgusting, absouloutley disgusting. Made us wait 50 for water and 1 and a half hours for some waffles. Do not reccomend, please do not come here. Horrible especially as this was my first time meeting with my friend.

Best nice milkshakes and donuts as well just findout they do frozen donuts not the fresh ones because of that they losing customers bit I don’t mind. But if they do fresh donuts they should have compare to price they charging but everything really nice im regular customer

Service was good, quality of food lacked the cookie dough came back burnt on the outside. Presentation wise the cookie dough was poor but the sundae looked very appetising and tasted good the milkshake and the sundae was good both presentation and taste wise. Seating area is nice.

I have never ordered from here before so wasn’t sure what to expect but WOW!! Came well packaged nothing messed up , was still warm and nicely presented! They were also very generous on the toppings which I loved. It did take almost an hour to come🥲but I can see past that as it was worth the wait , will be ordering again !!

Tried the ‘Thats A Mazza Waffle’ on the Uber Eats offer. Waffles were warm when they arrived. However i would have preferred some cutlery with my order.

Just been in to YANNI’s desserts having passed by the kids insisted on a dessert everything was made perfectly but the strawberry sundae and pistachio milkcake was the best I’ve tried by a long mile

Hands down make the best chocolate sundaes in Derby! I won’t go anywhere else now and my family absolutely loved it! The orders are always delivered within a reasonable time as well! Only giving 4 stars as unfortunately the cookie dough wasn’t that good, ordered a Terrys Chocolate Orange one and it tasted more like a club bar chocolate. It did also seem like it had been over cooked as it was a bit hard rather than doughy! I’ll be sure to up this to 5 stars when I try and order a different cookie dough next time!

Mine and my son's favourite place to go for sundaes and milkshakes especially after jumma just wish you could open at 2pm on Fridays so we can straight there.

ordered the "thats a maze' waffles they were fresh and tasted amazing the ice-cream that comes with it was a light whippy perfect combo, not usually a fan of milk cakes but the Ferro Roche one from here was divine deffo recommend

On a Sunday night, me and the rest of my family headed over to Yanis deserts my brother ordered a milkshake but it nothing but ice cream in a cup.Also my uncle ordered two scoops of ice cream which were bubblegum and mango they got it wrong by splitting the two flavours in two cups so we asked them to change it into one so the next they made it into one so they GOT IT WRONG AGAIN! We asked it changed. Furthermore, the spoon that comes with the ice cream broke in 2 because of how useless it is.

MISLEADING. Ordered waffles — the “2 for 1” deal from UberEats. They put a picture of a waffle in a box — making you think you’ll get two of those for the price of one. However, you only get one box, with two little waffles stripes in it. Very misleading.

Absolutely amazing. Customer service was excellent. Ordered the lotus biscuit waffle which was lovely. Asked the gentlemen for more biscoff sauce not only did he give us the sauce but extra ice cream tub as well. Strawberry sundae was beautiful as well. Will definitely come back again. just tried the Oreo biscoff shake from this place and it's the best I've tasted by a long mile. I was recommended the white choc chip cookie dough with sprinkles and marsmallows which was really good although the portion was too big.

Came to derby on a day out with my mates and stopped at Yanni’s Desserts for a little while. I tried the Kinder Bueno milk cake and fell in love with it from the first bite… it was soo good that we had to get some for Takeaway too. I would defo recommend this place to anyone that visits derby, the staff members are very friendly and accommodating and there are a wide variety of desserts you can choose from!
