Birds is always a great experience for food and service, but this store lacks a little on the quality of the internal fitout compared to other stores in the area.

Guys this is the second time I have ordered and u have got my order wrong got no bacon with my sausage cob again it’s bad enough paying your high price s and u don’t receive the right food never ordering from u again

I grew up in Spondon and while I live in the USA now when I do visit I like to sample my childhood delights. Grabbed a Lamb Slice and a Cream Cake from Birds the other day, exactly as I remember and particularly biting into the Cream Cake elicited instant memories of Childhood. Recommended

Birds bread and pastries are a must have for any special occasion or indeed as a treat at any time just to indulge.

Lovely local Derbyshire Bakery chain . This Spondon one as well as Ashbourne has friendly staff who will serve you at door if you are out and about with dog so obviously can't go in shop. I often get an item or two on way home from a dog walk and very helpful staff !

Birds bread and cake shop. Yummy cakes; cooked meat, sausages. Even does a hot dog with stuffing & apple sauce that's yummy. Any cakes to order. Has a chiller cabinet for cold drinks. Staff are friendly.

Believe it's closed casualty of the virus Birds are always very good for bread cakes and hot sausage rolls
