Such lovely people. Favourite takeaway in town.

The food was a bit hit and miss. The mixed starter was not that great. The prawn toast not the soft prawn and chicken topping as other good places serve. I ordered beef in ginger and garlic. It was onions with more onions. Duck was standard but the hoysin sauce was watered down. Not a great experience

Fresh tasting Chinese. No five spice flavour just awesome taste.

Food was delicious not greasey, soup had plenty of meat. Chow main was gorgeous, wish I had money to go daily.

Ordered in the shop and unfortuantley was a bit of a wait. Should be expected on a Saturday night though. Food was tasty - kept it basic with crispy chilli beef and it was full of flavour.

If I could have given a minus star tonight I would have. Placing an order 30 minutes after they opened resulted in a delivery of 3 items 2 hrs 15 minutes later which is beyond acceptable. If I had not chased my order up it could have been much worse and arrived god knows when. Not only that the delivery driver was a bit lippy when delivering his heart felt apologies for the late delivery, not. If this new(ish) takeaway want to build a good local reputation to rival the Mayfair then they need to learrn about good customer service. Its a shame because their food is good

VEGETARIANS / VEGANS BEWARE!! My girlfriend and I are both vegan and have I have been eating here for a while. It was my girlfriend's first time here and she asked if the dishes we ordered (all had the vegetarian symbol next to them) were suitable for vegans. The lady returned and informed us they don't contain the ingredients but the chips are cooked in the same oil as the chicken balls. Pretty sure that makes them not vegetarian!! This is a matter of opinion as some people don't care about cross contamination, but I know some do so please check before ordering, I wish I had 😩

I really apologize for the long waiting time recently, and we are helpless, because of the virus, we did not call any staff back to work for safety reasons. Our manpower is really insufficient, but there is no matter which takeaway you choose. We all understand，we can only say that it’s a pity that we couldn’t keep you stay thank you again

Food is always delicious and good quality, sometimes the wait is a little long (but expected when busy) but worth it for the good food. Staff are very Friendly and helpful....

Absolutely loved my Yami's, the food was hot fresh & full of flavour. The lady was really friendly and explained there would be a delays on delivery due to how busy they are. (which I don't mind as its about the quality of the food at the end of the day) will be ordering regularly from here as it puts Mayfair to shame. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AMAZING FOOD, YOUR MISSING OUT

Best Chinese takeaway I have had in a very long time. The food is ALWAYS top class, not greasy or salty like others I've tried. And the customer service is second to none. I really couldn't fault YA MI, and certainly would never consider ordering elsewhere now I've found this little gem.

First time trying and will be the last. 2 hour wait for delivery, forgot some of the order and chow mein tasted burnt. Absolutely disgusting. Will stick to Mayfair in the future.

Best Chinese food I've ever had, not greasy or salty, excellent vegetarian choice, the tofu dishes especially good!!

Just tried this Chinese for the first time and it was lovely. Had sesame prawn on toast and chicken in satay sauce and both were very tasty Satay came with pineapple pieces, which is very unusual but actually tasted nice and suited it well. Sauce could be a tiny bit thicker, but other than that I really enjoyed it. Definitely will be ordering from here again.

Shocking!!! Chicken curry was like piss water! Chicken chowmein was as dry as a flip flop in sun I'll not even bother mentioning the chips.... Will 100% not be ordering from there again!

All I can say is WOW the best Chinese take away I ever had. I read the other reviews and thought give these guys a try and I am so glad I did. The food was so tasty and not too greasy like a lot of Chinese food. The delivery time was excellent. I will use these guys again and recommend them to all our friends and family.

Food delivery arrived within 30 minutes. Hot, tasty and great value for money. If you want Chinese food then DO NOT GO anywhere else as you will be disappointed compared to the food at Yami.

Amazing, the salt & pepper chips are fantastic we some every saturday!

The food is delicious, I love that all the dishes are packed full of flavour. There is a wide selection and the staff are very friendly its definatly a 10/10 for me :)
