Mushy peas were rock hard and the chips had a weird taste to them. Sausage was good.

Chips where beautiful, sausage well hot and couldn't ask for better, love the food will be ordering again from here, top marks all round

Only been open a short while but very good. If you go at quite times, will take longer, as cook fish as you order but definitely worth the wait

Absolutley awful I will send a pic if it allows me , ahh no it’s not ,curry sauce may as well of been dish water tasteless and as thin as water ,no rice but ordered chips rice and curry , I have a picture on my phone so if anyone wants to see the diabolical mess I will send it,£18.10 total waste of money ( will say been there previously and no problem but looks like it’s been taken over by people who have not Got a clue

Very friendly and lovely staff, but unfortunately like most places the chips weren't cooked enough, also if you want chip shop curry sauce this is not the place as its Chinese curry sauce.

Fell upon this chippy by chance and so glad I did! Outstanding quality of food and fish and chips are the best I have ever tasted and the homemade tartar sauce and mushy peas were top notch, the staff very friendly and welcoming and I could have eaten off the floor it was so clean, definitely worth a visit and highly recommend this little gem, we will be back 😊

Went last night after hearing they have reopened under new management. Thank goodness Barnsley finally has a decent chippy. The home made tartar sauce on the side is a nice touch. Thank You Frydays. Excellent

Seems to have closed down, not open in middle of Tuesday evening within opening times and no sign saying why it wasn't open...

Called in the other day, didn't know about the new owners, but they are wonderful people couldn't help you enough. The food was gorgeous will definitely be coming frequently.
