YALLA YALLA Lebanese Grill in Dacorum

What a gem of a little restaurant. I eat Lebanese food all over London and this place matches and beats some of the best I've eaten at. The Sharwma is a showstopper and the owner Mo is always polite, helpful and happy to help.

I recently had food from Yalla Yalla, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The flavours were rich, fresh, and beautifully balanced — every dish felt carefully prepared with real attention to detail. Amazing Lebanese food! The flavors are authentic and delicious and food is always fresh. Highly recommend trying their mix grill, lamb chops. Great value for the quality and quantity And have always enjoyed the free mint tea and baklavas.

This was hands down one of the worst food I've ever ordered. I ordered through Uber Eats and I seriously regret it. First off, the food looked like it had been scraped from the bottom of an oven. What was supposed to be a baked or grilled dish came out completely burnt, blackened, and dry — it was inedible. Whoever cooked this clearly didn't care at all. The chicken wrap was a joke. Just three tiny pieces of chicken tossed into a Lebanese wrap , and nothing. It was like they were trying to save every last cent by giving the smallest possible amount of food. And the rice and salad? Disgusting. The rice was clearly days old, clumpy, and had that weird reheated smell. The salad was wilted and slimy, with no crunch or freshness at all — it looked like it came straight out of the trash. I’ve had better meals from gas stations. For the price I paid, this was a complete ripoff. If you value your money, your time, and your stomach, avoid this place at all costs. This restaurant should not be allowed to serve food, let alone deliver it to customers expecting a decent meal.

A definite jewel in the (Hemel) crown! We've been visiting Yalla Yalla since it opened and it deserves all the 5* star reviews and success that it has had. Every visit is a fantastic experience, the food is your typical Middle Eastern selection bit every is beautifully cooked every time and also great value. In addition the hospitality is second to none. The front of house are incredibly welcoming and friendly, you are treated like you are a guest in the owner's home. The rest of the staff are warm and welcoming too. If you haven't tried it then it is an absolute must. Make sure to book a table on busier nights of the week. Trust me you won't be disappointed.

Lovely food and service. Probably the best Lebanese in Hemel Hempstead. Located in the beautiful old hemel high street. Great place to eat for a day out.

The place and the food are amazing...charcoal-cooked chicken, kebabs, and authentic Egyptian kofta, and the basmati rice is very solid and kept in a cooler with mint tea. The place is amazing and the food is delicious, well done and juicy, the taste of kebab and kofta and the chicken are typically Egyptian not like other restaurants, also when you order and eat basmati rice, you are from the other side of the world. All these in addition to the tidiness of the place and the people who work there

Went for lunch during the week. The choice of food was good and the food we had was lovely. Service was nice and the waiter was friendly. This is the only restaurant I know of (I could be wrong!) where the soft drinks are not an extortionate price. I would definitely recommend.

We came off the A1 to find a pub for lunch and found this lovely little restaurant in Hemel Hempstead, Old Town instead. I loved the fresh mint tea instead of a tea bag. Food was lovely. Will definitely go there again.

Really enjoyed our family lunch here! The chicken steak and the chicken shawarma are both tasty choices and come with a generous portion of rice. Will definitely be back again!

Brought my parents for lunch and had a wonderful meze spread and chicken shawarma wrap which was so delicious. Very fresh and wonderful spiced flavours. Having eaten alot of middle eastern food, I can say Yalla Yalla's cuisine exceeded my expectations and I cannot wait to come back and try more. We were here for iftaar on the weekend, and what a lovely experience we had. The staff were so lovely and the food was delicious. Such a cute cosy atmosphere - really recommended. Looking forward to revisiting!

OH DEAR! High prices for small portions. You are basically paying for very basic kebab meat on a plate at ridiculous pricing. Soft drink prices (cans of coke, not even bottled) are also high. The quality of meats were dubious and taste was bland. We did not feel great the following morning and this was the only same food we both had eaten. I cannot understand how this place is rated so highly! There seemed to be a lot of delivery pick ups and maybe this is their key custom. No, I would not return. If I want a kebab, I will go to a kebab shop and pay reasonable prices for larger portions (and hopefully better quality meat). RESPONSE - “almost wiped clean” plates?! WOW. What a response! Shocking false claims. Absolutely no need to talk on the phone as your fake response says it all really. Finally - you must have the worlds greatest memory and be more psychic than Mystic Meg! I did not quote the date/time we visited - yet, YOU know exactly the date (weeks ago) and time and table! WOW - JUST - WOW!

Good services and delicious food

Staff really friendly, food is delicious and served in reasonable time frame. The atmosphere is clean, rustic and cosy.

The food was mainly very tasty, the lamb shish was a bit dry but the main reason for scoring a 3 was the fact we ordered a 'special mix grill' and it was a lot more rice than meat which was rather disappointing.

Great authentic Lebanese food, superb service!! Baba Ghanuj was sensational! Worth coming back just for that!

Great local restaurant who know their customers

Ordered from here a week ago and the food was amazing. Decided to visit the restaurant on Thursday and was very impressed yet again. The service just adds to the overall appeal of the restaurant, so quick, friendly and efficient and the food tastes INCREDIBLE. I would recommend the baba ganoush, I’ve been dreaming about it 😛

Great service and a cosy place. Meat overall was of a good standard and plus points for being generous with the rice on our dishes as well as value for the big mixed grill. Standouts were the kibbeh (which tasted super fresh and not over fried) and the chicken wings for how soft and tender they were.

First time visiting this restaurant. Lovely atmosphere and decor. Staff were helpful. The food was really good, and the portions were big. They don't serve alcohol, but they have a large selection of soft drinks. If possible they would prefer cash payment, but no problem if you pay by card. To avoid disappointment, it is a good idea to book.

A nice friendly local Lebanese restaurant where the staff welcome you the moment you enter. I like the fact the menu is not over complicated. We were there for lunch and enjoyed their shared meze platter which at around £14.00 for two is reasonable. We added the Baba Ganuj just because we could. We had the fresh mint tea which was made from fresh mint with the choice to add tea as well. The staff were sublime and I can imagine this place is popular with locals, and rightly so. Recommended

Went with friends as we have been wanting to go here for quite a while, having heard great things about the restaurant. Our group have a few dietary restrictions - gluten free, vegetarian, lactose intolerant and there were dishes to cater to all of us and we definitely left stuffed! The staff were friendly and accomodating, service as quick (this was a Saturday night), the restaurant is small so there is a lovely, cosy atmosphere and yet there is still plenty of space to sit - no cramped tables here. The food was delicious, we will definitely return and happily recommend to others.

Very clean and hygienic, clean toilets, aesthetic is rusty makes it feel unique in a good way. Food is good.

This place is run so well. Staff are perfect, from the start to finish I couldn’t ask for better service. Clearly passionate about the food they make and making recommendations as we leave for good options for next time. Smart and helpful. The rice and chips are perfectly seasoned and the chilli and garlic sauce are full of herbs and go well with the sides. We had the mixed grill which was up there with the super expensive ones for double the price in London. I couldn’t recommend this place enough even if you aren’t local it is worth a drive. Thanks for creating a great restaurant.

Honestly - this place is the best! We visit a couple of times a month - the service is amazing, the food absolutely delicious and it seems I am now known to them for my love of their baklava!! Honestly I couldn't recommend it enough and the only time i've had trouble is yesterday when I just missed the last portion of baklava aha! such an asset to the old town <3

For the first time in the uk, I’ve tried lebanese food! Omg it was soo scrumptious 😋!! And the girl (i think her name was ouzi, i know I’m spelling it wrong), she is so lovely 😻!! I visited Yalla Yalla for dinner last Saturday night with two of my friends. It's located within an historic building in the old high street, with a very pretty interior and good atmosphere with other diners of all ages. We shared some delicious starters (Sujuk, Falafel, Baba Ghanuj, Hummus, and flatbreads) and then shared a mixed grill which came with a lovely salad, chips and/or rice. The staff were friendly helpful and the food excellent. Overall - top marks for food and service and I would definitely recommend it. See you again soon!

Falafal was the only good thing. Shawarma is not authentic except for the bread. The place was decorated quite exceptionally.

The best Food from Hemel Heampstead

The special mixed platter is our favourite. the lamp chops are packed with flavour and tender and theynare always generous with the rice.

The biggest issue I have with Yalla Yalla is that it gets so busy that it's very rare that you can get a table without booking. That might have something to do with the great food, which is very good value, and the fab service.

We had an incredible meal at this cozy little spot right on the pretty high street. The service was impeccable and the food was absolutely wonderful. The Baba Ghanuj was the best I have ever tasted and the lamb was tender and delicious. Oh and the Arayes Halloumi dish was divine! All in all a fantastic experience. We’ll be back!!

Absolutely insanely delicious lebanese food, packed with flavour, so juicy. We went at lunch time and we ordered the Chicken shawarma wrap with chips, so juicy, the batata Harra potatoes as a starter which was packed with garlic, red pepper and cumin flavour with corriander, yum. My husband ordered the mixed grill, again packed with flavour so delicious. Definitely a place to visit, we loved it so much that we ordered a chicken shawarma to go, have it for dinner. We were visiting from Newcastle and thankful google showed us this location, perfect end to our trip. Its also in a beautiful little location, the street in front is a beautiful walk path surrounded by trees and a park.
