Went with friends as we have been wanting to go here for quite a while, having heard great things about the restaurant. Our group have a few dietary restrictions - gluten free, vegetarian, lactose intolerant and there were dishes to cater to all of us and we definitely left stuffed! The staff were friendly and accomodating, service as quick (this was a Saturday night), the restaurant is small so there is a lovely, cosy atmosphere and yet there is still plenty of space to sit - no cramped tables here. The food was delicious, we will definitely return and happily recommend to others.

Very clean and hygienic, clean toilets, aesthetic is rusty makes it feel unique in a good way. Food is good.

I can’t recommend enough!! Everytime I stop by and get some food in Yalla Yalla my happiness level reach the maximum! The food, the atmosphere, the service.. it’s just top notch. This place is run so well. Staff are perfect, from the start to finish I couldn’t ask for better service. Clearly passionate about the food they make and making recommendations as we leave for good options for next time. Smart and helpful. The rice and chips are perfectly seasoned and the chilli and garlic sauce are full of herbs and go well with the sides. We had the mixed grill which was up there with the super expensive ones for double the price in London. I couldn’t recommend this place enough even if you aren’t local it is worth a drive. Thanks for creating a great restaurant.

Honestly - this place is the best! We visit a couple of times a month - the service is amazing, the food absolutely delicious and it seems I am now known to them for my love of their baklava!! Honestly I couldn't recommend it enough and the only time i've had trouble is yesterday when I just missed the last portion of baklava aha! such an asset to the old town <3

We had a lovely dinner in a very cosy restaurant. The food was really tasty especially the meat. The staff was super friendly and smiling. The made sure we had every we needed to enjoy a beautiful meal. We finished the dinner with a lovely fresh mint tea and baklava:)

What a great find! We were looking for a quick lunch and stopped here for some superb wraps. We really enjoyed it and thoroughly recommend it. Good value for money too. Great to have complimentary baklavas too. Will definitely come again.

I visited Yalla Yalla for dinner last Saturday night with two of my friends. It's located within an historic building in the old high street, with a very pretty interior and good atmosphere with other diners of all ages. We shared some delicious starters (Sujuk, Falafel, Baba Ghanuj, Hummus, and flatbreads) and then shared a mixed grill which came with a lovely salad, chips and/or rice. The staff were friendly helpful and the food excellent. Overall - top marks for food and service and I would definitely recommend it. See you again soon!

Falafal was the only good thing. Shawarma is not authentic except for the bread. The place was decorated quite exceptionally.

The best Food from Hemel Heampstead

Delicious food, excellent customer service.

The special mixed platter is our favourite. the lamp chops are packed with flavour and tender and theynare always generous with the rice.

The biggest issue I have with Yalla Yalla is that it gets so busy that it's very rare that you can get a table without booking. That might have something to do with the great food, which is very good value, and the fab service.

Great experience and lovely food and plenty of it too! Our waitress Ozzy was very attentive and polite.

We had an incredible meal at this cozy little spot right on the pretty high street. The service was impeccable and the food was absolutely wonderful. The Baba Ghanuj was the best I have ever tasted and the lamb was tender and delicious. Oh and the Arayes Halloumi dish was divine! All in all a fantastic experience. We’ll be back!!

Absolutely insanely delicious lebanese food, packed with flavour, so juicy. We went at lunch time and we ordered the Chicken shawarma wrap with chips, so juicy, the batata Harra potatoes as a starter which was packed with garlic, red pepper and cumin flavour with corriander, yum. My husband ordered the mixed grill, again packed with flavour so delicious. Definitely a place to visit, we loved it so much that we ordered a chicken shawarma to go, have it for dinner. We were visiting from Newcastle and thankful google showed us this location, perfect end to our trip. Its also in a beautiful little location, the street in front is a beautiful walk path surrounded by trees and a park.

A wonderful find in our locality which is not far from Watford. Sincere hospitality from the moment we arrived right through to when it was time to leave, such lovely people. The food was delivered quickly and full of fresh tastes and flavours. Everyone made sure we were well looked after which made it even more special as it was a busy Friday evening. We had a starter platter and different mixed grills with rice and chips amongst our table, everything tasted like it had been cooked fresh and all food seasoned deliciously! Highly recommend, very children friendly and the server even treated my little two to a complimentary lolly pop which went down well!

I always visit this restaurant when I travel via hemel The food is delicious and the staff working there are so friendly and kind ! The atmosphere inside is great. It’s the only halal restaurant in Hemel that I know every time I travel through Hatfield to hemel just to eat in. I always have quality food for my lunch or dinner. My favourite restaurant in Hemel Hempstead. Me and my partner visit it regularly and we love the food and the place. Everything is always fresh and super tasty, we are their customers for long time now and tried almost everything from the menu and everything is delicious, never had a fail. Great food and attentive service here at Yalla Yalla. The atmosphere is light and busy. The frequent comings and goings of the takeaway couriers through the middle of the small restaurant is a bit of a drawback for me. It's a good indicator of how nice the food is though!

YALLA YALLA is amazing lovely staff very friendly also soo kind and generous. Food is delicious strongly recommend good flavour and seasoning portion is always filling and presented well done. I come my self with friends from work twice a month during our lunch break and always everything is on point and we get treated in the end with a lovely dessert on the house. Makes you feel at home.

So yummy! This was our first Lebanese food experience but certainly not our last! We live in California USA so our next experience will be compared to the high standard of Yalla Yalla…good luck living up to that!
