Delicious chicken Katzu bento box and Srijan was a fantastic server

Quiet on a midday Friday. Service was sharp and quick, much appreciated from Shivani. Decent portion sizes and very tasty. Not bad for a quick bite while shopping.

Atmosphere was nice was served by Felicia and it was great service will 100% be coming back again

I was served my Ana, she was amazing, explained the menu and everything was tasty and we were served very quickly. The gyoza and takoyaki were very good. The whole experience was incredible.

Worst yakinori I've ever gone to. Save your money and go to the selly oak branch instead. Served cold bland food in comparison to the selly oak branch. Both ordered the firecracker sirloin steak dish which is usually our favourite from selly oak here we just got rice zero sauce and bland beef with no seasoning made worse by it being a smaller portion which was cold on arrival.

First time visiting - the food was delicious. Quite big portions so definitely worth the prices. Moin was our server and he was really kind and accommodating, would definitely eat here again!

Delicious sushi & miso soup at really reasonable prices. We were served by Srijan who was so friendly and smiley and overall excellent service. Would definitely reccommend for a lovely spot for sushi in central Birmingham.

celebrated my friends birthday here. the staff were so incredibly friendly, the customer service was so good we were so impressed. the food was amazing, would definitely reccomend to anyone looking for a spot to eat in the city centre!

Me and my friend was served by Justina, she was very considerate by letting us know the non-halal items and the sweetest. The food was delicious and overall service was amazing.

The chicken ramen was very bland. Not much flavour to it. A bit disappointing. The service was a bit slow on a none busy day. Don't recommend. A non japanese run place.

Ordered a seafood ramen and a couple of drinks, which tasted fantastic. Only issue I had (and this is my fault) is that the portion was massive so I couldn’t finish it. Other than that, would recommend !!

I asked the only lady working at this restaurant about the 4.95 meal advertised outside the shop. But she didn't answer my question and told me to take a seat first and then ask one of the other waiters. When i asked one of the other waiters, he told me that offer was only for take away and that I couldn't have it if I were eating in. Everything else was three times the price. While I do love going to Yakinori and see myself coming again, I absolutely do not appreciate the trickery of that female waitress at this particular restaurant. Her manager needs to have a word with her!

Justina was so excited welcoming and helpful when I came to eat with my friends she gave advice and opinions on what is the best on the menu and helped whenever we needed anything extra. I also loved the halal options here I find it very hard finding places to eat cause of this but here was amazing for selection.

So tasty! Great decor and friendly staff. Green tea was so good - genuinely haven’t had such a nice blend in a while. The chicken in the chicken ramen was super tasty, and the udon was a fabulous texture.

I've visited a couple of times, primarily for dinner with friends. It's a tranquil and welcoming place with excellent Japanese cuisine. I highly recommend trying their daily specials, and I thank Ash (Aishwarya) for the recommendation and assistance with my last reservation.

My visit to Yakinori Birmingham was nothing short of a major disappointment, primarily due to the appalling hygiene practices. While waiting for my order at the counter, I watched the team preparing food, and what I saw was shocking. Several staff members weren’t wearing gloves while touching, cutting, and preparing fish and sushi, then immediately handling sauces, plates, and cutlery without washing their hands. Even worse, a team member who was wearing gloves used them to prepare fish, then proceeded to touch the spoons offered to customers without changing gloves. This blatant disregard for basic hygiene raised serious concerns about the safety of the food being served. To add to the disappointment, my order was underwhelming. The chicken slices were meager, there were barely enough noodles, and the dish was drowned in sauce. The portion size and balance were completely off. With such poor hygiene and disappointing food, I would strongly advise against dining at Yakinori Birmingham. You can never be sure where those hands have been before they touch your food, and that’s not a risk worth taking.

Had a great meal for 8 tonight..superb service but more importantly really great food.... Great job guys

Ordered via Uber Eats for lunch at work. Requested for cutlery and put a note also as I needed chopsticks, they did not put chopsticks or soy sauce in the bag. I called the restaurant and requested for them to bring this as it is not far from where I work and I was not able to leave the office, the said sorry no. Waste of £20, very poor service.

My second visit there. Lovely as always with amazing food and very friendly staff. Anastasia was a star 👍🏻 Would be 5 stars, but they decided to ban anything with pork, for some reasons that I am not happy with :) sad to take choice away from the customers

visited today with a friend since they are doing 2for1 right now, we both got firecracker noodle bowls which were lovely! huge portions, super hot and fresh! as i have a nut allergy it can be daunting to try new food places but i was reassured by the manager that they have no nuts on site so i will be returning! we were served by zahra who was kind and attentive :) my only complaint is that there is no calorie/nutritional information in the restaurant or online. other than that will definitely be back here soon! :)
