We were introduced to this by a resident-nearby friend. Handily situated on the A40 just outside Carmarthen, it is easily missed as it is not well sign-posted but it is well worth the effort to find. The restaurant/cafe is run in conjunction with a well-establised cookery school and the food choices reflect a genuine interest in cooking and food presentation. Dog and people friendly. Highly recommended.

Met a friend for breakfast on the weekend. Lovely place. Really welcoming staff, plenty of choice for food and decor was nice! Will be back.

Stopped by on our way home for a 'lite-bite' but could not resist the ''Cawl cig-moch' or ''Ham Cawl' served with wholemeal bread, butter and cheese. It was delicious! It was well patronised on a Saturday lunchtime yet there was a very relaxing atmosphere throughout. Another new, small business well worth patronising.Check on opening hours.

Beautifully renovated barn. Light, plenty of room, very welcoming and attentive staff. Lovely range of their own products. Food was delicious - a great place for breakfast or a light lunch. Good range of cakes etc. For those with a sweet tooth.

Menu said sandwiches for lunch but didn’t state what fillings were available.....wanted omelettes which were on menu but unavailable today.....so the choice was down to open sandwiches only....very disappointing . Shan’t be rushing to go there again. Staff were very nice .There were also two large dogs roaming about in the cafe which was a bit off putting lovely though they were.

Lovely venue. Very limited gluten free menu so I had a portion of the frittata with homemade coleslaw which was delicious but was way over priced at £6.50 for the snack as it fitted on half a tea plate. Coffee was very good and more reasonably priced at £2.50

Had a visit here around 10.30 am, we were the first and only customers, but more came. We decided to have breakfast starting with a latte which was (warm), I had mushrooms on toast, a big plate with a few slices of bread that I think were supermarket slices and a small sprinkling of mushrooms in the centre. It was disappointing to be honest the toast was stone cold and butter not melted. We also had pancakes which tasted quite nice but luke warm to cold (bit of a theme here). It's a real shame because the place is a converted farm building and looks quite nice, but the tables are shoved into a dark and dingy corner. The kitchen and cookery school would be a great place to sit as you could see the food being cooked and could interact with staff. Check out the condiments, there was only white pepper, salt and brown sauce. Come on guys, you can't serve cold food in a cookery school, your not setting the best example!

Bues i i'r caffi yma ychydig o wythnosau yn ol, ar ol ymweld a'r parc gyda fy'n nheulu. Roedd y bwyd wedi cymryd amser hir i fod yn barod ond roedd y bryd yn blasus dros ben. Bydden wedi hoffi i'r staff fod ychydig yn fwy 'welcoming' a roedd y caffi ychydig yn fach ond os yn anwybyddu hyn, fe ges i amser da iawn a bwyd neis hefyd. I went to the cafe a couple of weeks ago after visited the park with my family. the food took longer than expected to arrive but the meal was very delicious. I would have loved for the staff to be a bit more welcoming as the cafe was a little small but if I was to ignore this I had had a lovely time and a lovely meal to go with it.

We met the owner during the week and as a result of his recommendation visited their burger van Friday evening to have their homemade fish and chips.. so good. We then visited Sunday to try the Sunday lunch.. spectacular! All homemade to perfection, tasty and generously portioned it was delightful! We absolutely loved every element. The veggie option was a treat and not the run of the mill usual option you get. What a great place will be back every week!
