This little cafe is often overlooked in any reviews for the area , but is one of our most favs, we mostly do breakfast but they have a great menu , but as for the breakfast you won't find better value anywhere in the area , full breaky toast and coffee for under a fiver and all from local butchers, so quality is very good , I just drink black coffee so not sure about anything else coffee wise .

Situated inside xs stock, this cafe serves tasty food but is very overpriced. It is always busy and ques can get quite long but they have a good variety to choose from but i think it is expensive for what you get.

Really horrible experience in the tavern, obnoxious customers and rude barmaid, will not be back.

Table booked on 24/12/2019 for 9 people to have lunch on 5th Jan 2019. We were told when ordering our drinks that they had only one can of diet coke!! Bad start. One hour after our arrival no food had been brought to the table. Eventually starters were served. Food average. When we asked for salad cream for a salad it was to be told that they didn't have any! I ordered fish and chips and was told they didn't have any fish ' only scampi. Attitude to customers was take it or leave it! I felt they had let us down and Dalry down. We will not go back there again.

For a start, I don’t understand why a commercial building built in the late 90’s doesn’t have a lift given my guess of the average age of their clientele. We went for tea and a scone with my mum who is recovering from getting a new knee. We were told that we could have a table in the foyer cos the restaurant wasn’t accessible. They then changed their mind and told us that we couldn’t order a tea and a scone because there was already 6 people in their restaurant and it would be at least 30 minutes before they could put in a new order. There were 4 people in the empty shop, two in the foyer and presumably numerous staff in the cafe. Between them they couldn’t get us a tea and a scone. We won’t be back.

Great food and fantastic friendly service in an idyllic location. My brother and I, had the Bagel Stack for a breakfast, great start to a holiday in Largs.
