This is a great place to go for a cheap meal or a great cup of coffee and a piece of cake. In the Summer it is lovely to sit outside in the Manors garden.

I can't believe there are still people who aren't aware of this cafe. This must be the nicest open, green space Brighton and Hove has to offer where you can get fed and watered. This is a Buddhist cafe set up to remind and inspire us all to play a part in wishing for world peace. The atmosphere is very relaxed: tasteful music from around the world mingled with the bubbling sounds of fresh coffee carefully prepared by volunteers under the watchful eye of the cafe manager, Lorre. Cakes are a creative fusion invented by Evie to delight vegans, sugar free wannabes and those that just like to try something new. Quiches, veggie roasts and toasties are a popular draw for meditators and visitors who just want to enjoy the surroundings alike.

Enjoy a vegetarian lunch in a bright, clean café or sit outside in the beautiful garden. In the café you can also buy cards & gifts. In a separate room you can arrange for a meditation class. We were expecting to see Buddha's serving in the café or walking the grounds but we did not see them. (We enjoyed carrot/lentil loaf and spinach/feta quiche)

The World Peace Cafe is a beautiful place, not just because of it's location within the Buddhist Centre, but the food is fantastic too. I have thoroughly enjoyed every single meal I've eaten - thank you x

You should come hear and experience the peace and tranquility of the KMC centre in Hove. You can even park for free! Unheard of in Brighton or Hove... The food is really good and very much homemade. Staff are lovely and cups of tea are however you want them to be. Clean and fresh but calm place to be

Came for lunch and chance to gather my thoughts. Excellent spicy tomato soup served by friendly bods. It was lovely to get away from busy streets and sit in garden reading book for a short time. Would come again.

This is an unusual and rather special venue to meet friends for a coffee or a light lunch. Set in beautiful gardens, the World Peace Cafe is part of Hove's Kampala Buddhist Centre and serves really fresh and wholesome dishes. Today my friend and I chose a spinach quiche which came with a variety of salads and an optional dressing. We attended a half hour meditation first, which was very restful in itself and it also meant we got a meditation-and-meal deal for £6.50 (drinks extra). The cafe is a restful place with friendly people serving and you don't get badgered about Buddhism. Customers can also park for free and get free wi-fi. There are some mean cakes too!

This lovely café is within a Buddhist centre so does have an extra special atmosphere. The food, all vegetarian, (vegan options available) is all lovingly made, and has a choice of amazing salads, quiches, panini's and soups. They have a wide range of coffees and speciality teas, not forgetting mouth watering homemade cakes. On a nice day you can enjoy your lunch/ tea and cake in their stunning gardens or patio. It also has free parking - a rare treat this close to Brighton and is a short walk from the sea front.

Wonderful cafe served by lovely people. All the vegetarian food is inventive and tasty. It's only two blocks up from the beach (near the skeleton pier). Fab.
