Woody's Pizza in Calderdale

Went here on a Saturday night. Had to wait an hour but it was well worth the wait. All pizzas were unreal and the loaded fries were amazing. Will know for next time to preorder before turning up but not to worry, there's a few nice bars down the road to grab a drink whilst you wait! Deffo our new go to pizza place

Has always been great food but won't be visiting again. Went in and lady on the counter shouted something at us, I didn't hear so asked her to repeat and she yelled HAVE YOU ORDERED COS THERE'S A LONG WAIT. I get that establishments get busy however the way we were yelled at made us feel about an inch high. Left feeling as though we'd been scolded just for walking in, one guy caught my eye and I said we can't wait an hour and a half, then another female staff member (maybe the same one) shouted ALWAYS A LONG WAIT FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS which we have visited a few times before usually on those days and it's never been more than half an hour vs the hour and a half we were told. Can't help the wait times the place is popular as it's good but wouldn't use again which is a shame as very nice food.

My partner and I recently moved to Tod and are already obsessed with Woodys. The pizzas are absolutely second to none, they are so generous with toppings, the dips are insanely good and the amount of choice on the menu is amazing!! Not to mention fabulous value for money. Absolutely stunning, we will definitely be regular customers.

We got 3 pizzas, a garlic bread & loaded fries. All vegan. Absolutely brilliant. My kids loved them too. I'd rate these as my best take out pizza experience to date. We took them home to eat on plates & share. We only had 1 slice left. They're generous with topping. Very good crusts

I don’t normally eat pizza, last option for a takeaway but while in Tod I was told to give this place a go. Liked it so much I went back a week later for another pizza, and omg the batty fries are out of this world. £4 for these was a bargin, if I had ordered these in london I would have paid £9 easy. The team are really friendly, will defo go back again when in Tod. Thanks

Very nice people making great pizza, the prices are very affordable and they're speedy getting the orders made! Lots of veggie and vegan options and no plastic packaging.

Perfect balance between quality gourmet pizza but still plenty of toppings/cheese, amazing flavours. About 10 pizzas in now, and not had a single soggy or bad one, 10/10. Friendly folks also, always made to feel welcome.

Best pizza I have ever had and it was vegan. Can really taste the difference with the freshly made dough. If I'm ever back in the area I will without a doubt be going back for more

3 of us got 2, 14in Pizzas to share at,one Vegan, the other normal,and 2 portions of chips.I have to say that this has been the best Pizza I've ever had. There was more choice with the Vegan ones also which our Vegan friend was very pleased about. If I could rate 100 percent, I would. We will definitely be going back.

Amazing pizza!! Vegan and veggie options are phenomenal. My meat eating boyfriend even liked the vegan all veg one the best! The base is nice and thin and they certainly don't skimp on the toppings. Staff were so friendly too. All in all a very good experience, I will certainly be returning.

You don't have to wait ages for your pizza. The staff are delightful and the pizzas are just beautiful! First time ordering, we ordered the crack pie, the cheeses crust and a large garlic bread. They look visually beautiful, the toppings are plenty (and locally sourced) and the pizzas themselves are just delicious! We will definitely be ordering again! Thank you! :-)

If you’re looking for the best pizza, Woody’s wins, and it’s on my doorstep. Not just because the food is next level (please try the Crack Fries), but the team are super friendly, and all the ingredients are locally sourced. I tell everyone I know to try this place!

We are regulars here since moving from Manchester to Tod and the pizzas (& fries) are great! Good prices, great variety (including gluten-free and vegan options) and really nice service. They've been really careful throughout the pandemic too. My partner always goes for slice and fries on Fridays (£4 w/ a can of coke). I have quite a few food intolerances and they offered to make me a special worry-free pizza, all I had to do was pre-order. These guys are really accommodating if you have dietary requirements! Definitely recommend!

So This is my first google review. There was a mix up with our original order at woodys . I’m not the type of person to complain so I just paid and left a bit disappointed in having to pay for what I felt was their mess up , when ordering from the vegan menu we ended up with a meat pizza as the same pizza topping is both available as vegan and non vegan. Anyway after a quick text the mix up was refunded and out next order is on the house. We would of been happy with a credit for £8 The customer service from Sarah was absolutely outstanding as she insisted that customer satisfaction is paramount. Thanks woodys x

Woody's pizza's are the best in town or any other town for that matter. Great selection of toppings and the dough is perfection. Highly recommend this place if you like properly made pizza's unlike the sad offerings the big chains have to offer.

Absolutely delicious pizza and the crack fries are to die for. Best to call in earlier a book a slot to pick up, but it’s worth it.

Woody's pizza hits the spot! They use local produce to create brilliant NYC style pizza with lot's of Veggie and Vegan options. A great addition to the town of Todmorden.
