Amazing vegan cheese for the vegan and lactose intolerant gals. Owner was so lovely and very funny. Was such a welcoming place and great prices too! Would highly recommend🫶🏼

Had the baby cheesus with the caramelised onion and it was EPIC! Was so quick at being made and arrived perfectly molten. Best toastie of my life, my only regret was getting the baby! If you want to have a good time, go now and grab a full sized toastie

Thoroughly enjoyed our toasties and the coleslaw with the gherkins were a nice touch. If you're in the area and you're feeling peckish you won't regret trying this place. Recommend the candied jalapeño which has a slightly sweet taste followed by a fiery kick but not too spicy.

Fabulous little bar that sells epic beer soaking cheese toasties. It was a bit quiet when I was here (to be expected at 1.30 on Wednesday afternoon) but I can imagine the atmosphere is amazing when it's busy. Keep up the good work guys.

One of the nicest little places in Hebden Bridge. The toasties are excellent and the bar is incredibly welcoming when its open Thursday-Sunday. The staff are really warm and friendly and there is always a cute dog or two wandering around the premises. Lovely outdoor drinking spot on a sunny day.

I love the passion, the food name and the location. Can we turn up the grill a few degrees? Always toasted on the outside but grated 🧀 just melted on the inside. Twice now we've had our Cheesus experience but falls slightly colder than the warm welcome....

Bloomin incredible toasties and lovely service. Seriously never had a cheese toasty taste that good in my life. We cycled to Hebdon Bridge along the canal and it was no bother sitting with the bikes outside (and undercover when it rained!). Totally worth a visit!

I was looking for somewhere cool, quiet and away from crowds. The cheese and smoked ham toastie was absolutely delicious, freshly cooked ( I was advised it would take 10 or so Minutes which is nothing for freshly cooked food with fine ingredients ) and accompanied by one of a range of quality beers . The venue has great ambience and the guy cooking and serving was pleasant and helpful

Absolutely spot on and so tasty! Make sure you check out this little hidden gem off Crown Street. I had the locally supplied Porcus Chorizo Cheese Toastie and it was delicious. New little sushi bar opening next too, so look out for that too. Pretty sure it’s the same people who are running that too, so expect good things. 👍

So you think you’ve had a good grilled cheese sandwich do you? Well think again because The Grilled Cheese Booth takes it to a whole new level. To start with, they’re massive! I know what you’re thinking... Quantity over quality? Not in this case! Every morsel was superb! They don’t scrimp on ingredients that’s for sure! In addition to the insanely good sandwiches, they also have a thoughtfully curated selection of craft beer! Not to mention their own coffee blend which is also stellar! To top it off, they had a lovely array of beer stix from Porcus to keep you sustained on the road! All in all, the food, beer, coffee and customer service were spot on! Hebden Bridge was also a lovely little town so recommended a visit!

Simple but really great takeaway food. They normally have a selection of 4-5 grilled cheese with vegetarian and meat options. I have yet to have a grilled cheese that I haven't loved, and friendly service. Can grab a coffee or a soft drink, and location means if they've run out of doughnuts you have time to go to the market and pick up an alternative pudding whilst your grilled cheese is cooking!

Indulgent pleasure. The best cheese sandwich I have ever tasted. Great ingredients, great quality, and a friendly team to deal with. Prices are ok, but you get what you pay for in life don’t you? Highly recommended amongst the thriving Hebden Bridge food scene 👍

Honestly the nicest people serving you the BEST grilled cheese ever! We both had the Philly cheese and it was utterly lush.. Was sad when it was over. Super recommend and will definitely be going again!

This place is monumentally awesome. There are 4/5 options (I went for the spicy sausage) and the taste is knock out. Toasted to perfection on two whacking great big slices of sourdough bread this place is worth the trip to Hebden alone! Update - having been here 5 times they’ve only had food left to serve twice.... it’s a tad disappointing so go early.

It’s not hard to love these guys, Chris always serves with a smile and the ever changing menu of fresh local ingredients is always delicious! I had the ale chutney today and MY GOD it’s good! No idea what chutney they use but it’s made me miss the pub even more 😭 Rob finally got to try the infamous salt beef and said it was great too! Thanks guys keep up the hard work! Oh and, Their coffee blend is a staple in our house now too, treat yourself to a bag!

Called yesterday and ordered from here OMG these are too die for, amazing ingredients so fresh and simple but wow are they good, sold out of bacon ones we wanted so that says it all but the cheese with smoked garlic pickle was just as impressive. Didn’t eat again that day as so filling. If in hebden please go try, you won’t be disappointed.

Something that sounds so simple, a cheese toastie, yet some this way is absolutely fantastic. When puttering around town this little gem, slightly hidden away, is a fantastic find for grabbing a quick bite to eat and sitting by the river. Honestly, once you’ve had a sandwich from here, you’ll be addicted. 😉
