LOVELY PLACE FOR SHARE WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS...!!!

Had my first bacon cob yesterday morning the cob so so fresh the bacon was perfect and the service was amazing can't wait to start going through the menu it looked amazing and was extremely reasonable prices too

Probably the worst sandwich I have ever bought. It’s not really a sandwich just bread. The filling is supposed to be spicy chicken and cheese, can’t see the spicy chicken and that’s a pathetic amount of cheese. For £3.50 that’s pretty disgusting. If I could give it a no star rating I would.

Found this place a few weeks ago and have returned several times . It has a welcoming atmosphere and fits into its community like a hand in a glove. The generous breakfasts go down a storm with nearby builders, while locals like to feel at home with a cuppa and a home made treat. The staff are friendly and take a pride in their products which are efficiently and flexibly served. The only reservation I have is the absence of an onside toilet but there is a pub opposite and the local doctor's surgery a minute or two's walk away.

Used Woody’s quite a few times now for our works breakfasts and lunch time sandwiches after trying a few other with poor results. They are so accommodating and the food is spot on. They are always happy go the extra mile to please and have very fair prices.

What a gem this place is in Nottingham! Fantastic food, great prices and cheerful service.

Delicious jacket, lovely crispy skin, fluffy in the middle. Home made slaw one of the best Iv tasted. Massive jacket got polished off in 5 mins flat. 10/10. Oh and service is always efficient and polite. Can’t fault the place

What a fabulous gem of a place, lovely people, great image and service but more importantly, a fabulous selection of tasty home made goodies, spoilt for choice and everything ive tried is great! Definately recommend.

Went in there and the man over charged me maybe he's struggling to pay his bills or he has a habit I don't know,but i will not be going in there again no different than a petty thief.Whats the point of a menu and you make up your own prices.

Updating review as it has been 2 years since I last did. Absolutely great selection of cakes and pastries, homemade, in store. Very good value breakfasts but the cakes and pastries are insanely high quality. Cannot recommend enough.

I was recommended this place by a work colleague. Usually, if I need lunch I would nip to Nottingham train station, but I thought I would try a locally run business. I have only had cobs from here, (freshly prepared) and also the best Victoria sponge I have ever tasted and trust me, I am an experienced cake eater! The scone pictured was absolutely huge (and absolutely delicious). The cakes are homemade and it definitely shows. Their menu is extensive, although some items are only available on certain days. They also do outside catering. The staff are lovely and it is very clean. You can sit outside too. If you don't live in the Meadows, it might be strange to go shopping there, but if you work close to the station, it is definitely worth the walk. There are other useful shops in the centre too. Highly recommended
