Woody Grill in Harrow

Order a large mix doner with chips. they gave me a very small portion the staff seems not care about customer service overprice junk avoid at all cost

I’m not a meat lover, but to be honest, I ordered the mixed grill and the meat was raw. I complained to the manager as well who was standing they’re wearing a suit and he just looked at my face and said this is how it is and nothing. Chicken was as always nice and tender wherever you eat salad and the red chilli sauce is nice it was empty. I figured out why because the prices have gone really up the platter which used to be £64 now it is £94 and the one which used to be 46 now it is 76. I wonder how anyone can afford it? I rather not go back there. It’s not about money end of the day but when you count every little thing it adds up. Last thing I forgot to add up is there sweet don’t try it it’s rubbish

I’ve always seen her put so much hard work into her job. Always been so warm hearted to me, my daughter and other customers too. Her pure smile and wonderful character just puts you in a good mood. Thank you Tessa for always being such a wonderful human. I’ve always seen you work so hard! God bless you always! Secondly, there’s a gentlemen name Mohammad who always gives kind service to us and the kitchen Manager too. Thank you for your kind service and hard work. Really appreciate it! Furthermore, the food and drinks are amazing and we’re regular customers who goes there every week especially my daughter who loves their restaurant and their milkshake. The atmosphere is really nice. Would highly recommend :))

I would have given this shop a five star but the service was bad. They serve nice and fresh food, with some lovely kitchen staff and nice serving ladies in the past. We had a request for Turkish tea and was told it was not available by a young male waiter. Moments later, we noticed the same tea being served to some other people in the same shop. We complained to a nice guy working in the kitchen who made efforts to apologise and offered to give us tea or even some bags of the tea home. We declined because we had already bought some drinks from the shop which was full of sugar as we did not have a choice. We needed something to eat our food with. We are matured adults and sugar is the last thing we need in our diet now hence the reason we felt bad. I have been going to this shop for a long time to eat and even introduced some of my friends who still go there. I will continue to go because there are still some nice staff there, but I will speak to the management when I have the opportunity or hope they do something to make this not to happen again.

I ordered the food and the food was very good but the customer service is poor when ordering food I ordered desert and said bring after we finish the main course waited 20 minutes but no desert.

Turkish food is lovely, until you order from them take away , especially when it’s weekend …. It is the second time they sent us the wrong or missing order.. I had to drive , to show them what they sent… Is so annoying… Not to mention that you have to wait longer than usual, 1 hour to get your food, and you can’t eat because they put something else on the bags…

Good for a late night meal. Food was decent, halloumi could have been cooked better and cut more thinly. Nonetheless food was fresh and prices are great. Service was good too.

I'm no fan of junk food, but it seems Harrow Council will only license greasy kebab shops or oily chicken shacks to open after midnight, to service those of us with rumbling tummies, after spending hours on a night bus... I've tried Woody's chips next door before, and they seemed like a fairly average chip shop chip, so I assumed I'd get the same or similar from Woody's grill next door, but how wrong could I be? I ordered the chicken and chips, thinking I'd get a portion of chips similar to that which I'd had in the past from the neighbouring chip shop, with a few chicken wings or thighs added into the mix. What I ended up with was a tiny portion of skinny McDonald's style chips and four pieces of reconstituted chicken, each about the size of a pound coin. So, I'll be taking my business back to Zara down the road, who've always sold me a decent sized portion of chips in the past, even if they don't seem to sell bits of chicken to add to it, in order to help sate the appetites of those of us who weren't fortunate enough to catch the last train back to the area. What's worse is that I didn't even get offered a chip fork, salt, or vinegar on the food, nor any other condiments.

Loved the food it was tasty and very fresh with good quantity, and the best part and the main reason for my rating is that it's open until 4am in the morning, which is so convenient price is a bit too high but worth if u wanna have food in the late hours of the night. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We celebrate our dad’s birthday today here. The staff are so nice and friendly. Service was very good and quickly. Food is very delicious but we still expected a little bit more in-term of the quality and softness specially for kids and elders. Environment was very nice. I do recommend for everyone specially meat lovers. Thank for the staff who provided us tee as gift of the birthday.

Love the fact they're open very late but the lamb and chicken kebab always have a funny smell to it and could be cooked longer.

An unpleasant experience from the girls with the service

I don't recommend an unpleasant experience from the staff, they don't serve you on time, they don't even put cutlery on the table, they just talk to each other, the girls, I wasn't satisfied at all

Sneaky prices, ordered 2 small chicken wraps on their own, with no bread, fries, sauce or usual service and then charged us £30 (worth about £16)….piss in my pocket then tell me it’s raining! Oh well another customer bites the dust!

Poor staff are clearly overwhelmed and over worked. SHAME on the manager SHAME. Hire more people instead of being selfish with your money. Poor cook is running around to tables and serving food. And forgot my chips.

Mr Stone and team were very helpful and friendly. The service was excellent and the venue was clean. The portion sizes were generous and the grilled fish and chicken were delicious. The chilli sauce and mint sauce together was also lovely. Fresh orange juice was very welcome and good. And the presentation was excellent. Altogether we had a wonderful early dinner after work with friends.

I visited Woody Girl with a large group of friends for the first time. The service was awful and very disappointing. The starter came without bread, which arrived 10 minutes later. While the environment was excellent, the food was good. They may need a bit more staff.

We had a great meal at Woody Grill not too long ago. Rich, real flavours abound in the perfectly grilled seafood platter. The servings were substantial and extremely affordable.☺️ The service offered by our waitress Catalina was excellent knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. We had wonderful food recommendations from Catalina, who also made us feel very welcome.✨ The atmosphere was ideal for a laid-back yet elegant meal. In general, Woody Grill surpassed my anticipations. I will most definitely be returning and heartily recommend it!👏🏻👏🏻

Before I start I appreciate that everyone's taste is subjective however I write this review with what Google informs me as being one of the top 10 percent read reviewers and read views on the platform. So my opinion of course matters to me but probably to many others that value my opinion on turkish restaurants (being a Turk also) Really disappointing restaurant as a summary. Where do i start. The meat in the Lamb beyti (kofte) or any lamb shish (in the mixed grill) has a very strong odour and aftertaste. The tomato based sauce in the lamb beyti tasted simply like a tomato pasta sauce and definitely not how it's tastes in the 1001 turkish food eateries that I've eaten in London and across the world. The meat from the mixed grill beyond the awful lamb shish, was as follows; Chicken shish - well cooked but bland Chicken doner - again bland Lamb doner - probably only semi above average thing on the menu. Lamb kofte - as explained was awful with a smell and aftertaste. Chicken kofte- like the previous chicken dishes tastes of pretty much nothing. The service from the staff was good but getting their attention for anything took 5 mins at a time when the restaurant was 2/3 empty. Finally I'm afraid to say within a few mins of leaving the restaurant I had to rush home to the lavatory where i write this, one of my worst reviews from a restaurant. Was expecting to find a gem in Harrow but unfortunately you wouldn't find me eating there again.

I ordered the Woody Grill Breakfast and it was absolutely incredible. I've been there before and its better to sit in rather than order a takeaway. Beats a Full English Breakfast by some distance. Friendly and accommodating staff serving bottomless tea - makes the experience more enjoyable. This is a place that deserves to be busier.

Used to be a nice place but now it has become a horrible one. Food doesn't have any taste or flavor. Please avoid going here

First time I came to this restaurant and I was amazed with the level of standert, good food, good service and most of all the restaurant was so clean and again I will mention the breakfast was 5 star so far I eat compare to other restaurant and the the lady who serve us who name was Cåtålina was great and polite👌

Although I came in to grab a take away, the inside had a lot of cute traditional touches to the place. The guy who served was ok aswell. Unfortunately the food was so grosse. Soooo grosse..... The chicken burgers felt like it had a weird plastic texture. That was not chicken.... i don't know what it was but it wasn't chicken! After one bite we had to throw them away. We finished off our chips though. I didn't even get the right number of mozzarella sticks and paid the full price.... so I'm not too impressed by them.

No sauces were given to us had to ask them they said OK but was give minutes later. Missing items from my order was; Chips Tea Water. Food was not great as well.

Shame on them, I used to like this restaurant and always recomended it to my friends who are new in London. But last time( Eid elfeter24) was so disappointing. So first no cultery( spoone& fork) , they put the starter with no bread and no plates. I didnt complaine yet as there were two bowls of salads and my husband and me were not too fussy. for the bread didnt complaine too as i didnt want my two kids get fool with bread only. But they been serving other ppl who arrived more than 15 min after. After half an hour the food still not arrived,I asked them if its not ready we will leave. but it was ready on that time but not like always(not nice and neat). And they didnt even serve us the water that we ordered. I understand it was a busy day and thats why i didnt coplaine but what upseted me thay didnt even appologies plus they been looking after other table more than us whe were there much earlier I feel we faced discrimination as we were 4 ppl and they wanted to serve biggger group. Dont recomend it anymore

I was in Harrow branch with my family last night. Food was very nice especially ribs. Their service was excellent. Mrs left her gold rings in the toilet , when we reached home she realised that her rings are missing. We called the restaurant and spoke to staff and Manager Muhammed.. they found the rings and put them in a locker. Excellent service .. Thank you.

Absolutely disappointed. Will never come to eat here again. Went there for the first time, with the kids to celebrate Eid. Horrible service. Noone acknowledged us at the door, we stopd waiting to be stated till noone came and we sat down on the nearest table. The waittess came and simply said "yes?" My kids were so disappointed. We were given complimentary humous etc with no bread, no spoons, she simply left the plates on our table and went off. Had yo call her 5 minutes later she appeared and asked her for bread till she disappeared again. My 10 year ols had to call her to ask her for napkins and cutlery. Asked her for bread again and she replied "it's coming". 5 minutes later another waitress comes with oir food and stands there waiting for us to make space for it. Saying not a single word. She stood and watched how kids 10 and younger tried to make space for the platter. After eating my son had to call someone else to bring the bill to us who actually bothered to see us as customers. Horrible experience. My kids are so upset. We sat on table 5 on 11 April 24.

The food is still amazing. One of the best places for a kebab. However, the service was really poor last week. Bread came burned and we had to ask for our food more than once.

There service standard changes depending on who they are serving and this is something I have absolutely no respect for. The food is a 5.5/10, 6 at best. Why do they act so entitled like they are some special restaurant? They move very very stingy with the sauces aswell which really puts me off visiting a place like this again.

Kebab shop, large shop, decorated beautifully and inviting to sit. The staff is very polite. There's chicken and lamb, but it's a pity there's no meat. They taste good. After work, come home late and hungry. Order just one set and you'll be full.

I love the food here good portion size, we had a mixed grill it came with a bread basket, salad, sauces and delicious seasoned tender chicken and lamb kebabs. Open very late every day just a life saver if you work late. The staff were very welcoming and attentive.

I and my family was so tired and hungry. We just googled and came here by chance. Believe me its an amazing place to eat and such delicious food. We were served at table 12. Both the girls who served us were very nice with a professional and smiling face. So not only the food but staff is also very good.

Ordered a salad for 5.50 to get a tiny plastic box with about two mini slices of onion, tomato was way too soft. The only thing I ate was the cucumber and lettuce ☹️ Burger was delicious
