Good place for Indian ( Gujarati) food

We went there for a Sunday brunch. The staff are great. Atmosphere is OK Food was not so great and for the price the portions were too small and it was ridiculous that they are not embarrassed about it. I will think twice before going back.

Plenty of tasty food, however the Crispy bhajia's were salty. The service was also slow and not very attentive.

Went here with a few loved ones after a long day. Was glad to say that it didn’t disappoint at all, the indo chinese food was amazing! starters and mains came out as we requested and food was made specifically to our tastebuds. Served with a smile which helped. Ambiance is blissful

I came to hatch end to get some sushi, I somehow found my way into Sakonis. I’ve never been a vegetarian, but the food had me my consider changing my meat lifestyle. It was so good. The chilli paneer tasted like a mother’s love. Felt like the sort of food I would eat on a cool Saturday in spring that was prepared by my mother and was served to me after football practice. Thanks to Suchak and Diksha for taking the time to walk me through the different things on the menu. Everything was warm, welcoming and delicious! Oh and the Chai was authentic! No of those cafe oversweetened versions.

Anita gave me brilliant service and she was very helpful. Ruchak was also good. This venue is better than Wembley so I will definitely come again. Why don’t you open a branch of the same standard in Ruislip😀😀

Nice hot piping food. Delicious vegetarian food. Especially loved chilli mogo! But watch out for the utensils as it does not appear clean! Ask to get it clean like we did. Very busy place but the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Has been a year since our last visit and still a great place to eat - we've enjoyed our meals here and the standard of food, service and the seating is excellent. Very well looked after restaurant which is good to see. Shout out to Diksha who was super helpful and friendly during our visit - nothing was too much trouble and it was much appreciated. Price point is a little high, but very much in line with other restaurants in the area. Although we don't visit the area often - we will be back here when we can.

Best Sakonis in North London. ..

Hatch End prices with subpar quality food. Bland, far from what the Wembley Salonis used to be 20 years ago. Not much of an atmosphere either. Needs a bigger menu and more curries.

I had a wonderful dinner at Sakonis in Hatch End. The service was exceptional; the two ladies who looked after us were very attentive and catered to all our needs without any fuss. The food was delicious, with a great variety of Indian vegetarian dishes. While some dishes were slightly too spicy for my taste, they were still very tasty. Overall, I would highly recommend Sakonis for anyone looking for great Indian vegetarian food and excellent service.

Mouldy sauce and poor stale chilli paneer. Would avoid at all costs. The takeaway delivered by Uber on 4th July was inedible. Not sure how how Sakonis can get away with this. Having been brought up going to the Ealing Rd store, they have really dropped the ball. Real shame. I emailed and called but alas no response! Good luck if you try the Hatch end store!

Usually I get the Chilli Tofu from the Wembley Sakonis and it’s great however, I ordered the same chilli tofu from Hatch End (right) and Harrow (left), as you can see from the pics, they are made entirely different and taste completely different. Why is that? Shouldn’t it be the same across all branches?

Always a pleasure to eat at Sakonis

We had the Mogo chilli, paprika chat, chole patureh and paneer curry. The food was good, I would advise them to fry the paneer chunks before adding to curry.

We had an amazing meal at Sakonis today. Dhruvi (Manager) was exceptionally helpful and kind, and the food was absolutely incredible! We will definitely be back, thank you so much to the whole team

Went for a quick brunch before a concert. Was not impressed by the quality of the dishes, unfortunately. However, the service was good. The girl serving us was very attentive and took on board things that were not up to par, understood our feedback and did not even charge us for the inedible dish. Expectations were high but the food standard, sadly, did not match. The chilli paneer wrap was not great, the addition of sauces to the already flavour-packed dish did not work well - the extra sauces overpowered the chilli paneer. Then the chilli paneer dish (typical paneer dish - no wrap) was very salty - inedible. The Mumbai Club sandwich was bland. The Hakka Noddles was the only dish we could eat there. Will not be going back.

Suchak and Brijesh did well and professionally served.

Was there for the first time today with family friends for the breakfast. Was very pleasantly surprised. Everything was just perfect. The service and the food was excellent. Big thank you to Krupa and Druvi for looking after us!

Breakfast was delicious and Anita Krupa was very friendly and gave us first class service.

Great tasting food but has become very expensive - not sure if it’s value for money therefore. Krupa and her colleague (forgot her name but starts with the letter A) were great.

The food was lovely and the service was quick. Anita was such a pleasure to deal with with her ever smiling and serving. It was my daughter's 18th birthday and Dhruvi very kindly brought her a cake and had a birthday song for her, which was really sweet. Overall I would certainly visit hatch end branch again. The portion sizes I felt have reduced. The paneer wrap was average and sandwich could have been a bit more toasties but the chat mogo and chips were lovely. We had a lovely seat given to us as well die to the occasion where we were away from hustle and bustle of the restaurant.

It was superb food like same as Indian taste. And i like service from writers staff krupa and anita.

We had breakfast on Sunday morning for Mother’s day. We were group of 17 people including 4 kids. The service was exceptional provided by Krupa, Dhruvi and Anita!! They prepared hot chocolate for kids. The food was amazing. Everyone absolutely loved the whole experience. Thank you

Three of us dined at the Hatch end restaurant yesterday and what a fantastic experience it was! A big thank you to Dhruvi and Krupa for making it a beautiful afternoon. Everything was spot on. The food arrived within minutes. Nothing was too much trouble for the two ladies. Dhruvi even managed to change a dish slightly to satisfy us, and really it was perfection!! Well done. I would award an A* to both of them

The food was terrible, had terrible food poisoning symptoms after. The male waiters were rude and obnoxious. Definitely would not go again. We went on 18.02.2024.

I recently dined at Sakoni’s Hatch end and had an incredibly disappointing experience. We called before arriving and made proper reservations. Upon arrival, we were rudely informed by the manager, who was wearing glasses (girl), that we couldn't sit at our desired table because they needed to set up for breakfast the next day. The manner in which this was communicated was incredibly off-putting and lacked any semblance of customer service. The whole service was rushed. Additionally, the manager's attitude was dismissive and condescending, making us feel unwelcome from the moment we stepped foot in the restaurant. Moreover, the lack of flexibility in accommodating our request (when the whole restaurant was empty) was frustrating and left a sour taste in our mouths. Overall, I would not recommend dining at Sakoni Hatch end if you value being treated with respect and courtesy.

OVERHYPED SAKUNI!!! I cannot express my disappointment enough with the poor service and staff behavior at Sakuni. From start to finish, my experience was far from satisfactory. The food, touted as exceptional, was below average at best. If the owner happens to come across this review, I strongly urge you to consider conducting a thorough training session for your staff in hospitality. The lack of attentiveness and professionalism exhibited by the staff significantly detracted from what could have been an enjoyable dining experience.

A real treat to have such a wonderful meal with a great variety of dishes in traditional Indian vegetarian style. The service was impeccable with most gracious waitresses, who explained to the novice what each dish contained.

Not been to Sakoni’s in over 15 years and don’t think i’ll ever be going again, ever… Poor quality food for the price. All the food is very oily, partially cooked & lacking flavour. Prices are high for individual dishes and there’s no complementary sauces to accompany the dry food.

Excellent food and good size portions. Very inattentive service and blaring Bollywood music which made conversation almost impossible

Unfortunately staff was such a let down Came to hatch end but our local is Kingsbury They spent most of their time behind the counter and was not a good experience The mains came staggered which took so long Will probably carry on going to Kingsbury

My girlfriend and I came to Sakonis on the 17th December for my birthday. We were greeted with exceptional service from Anita, Dhruvi and Brigesh. It was our second visit and it never disappoints. The food is outstanding!!!! The must-try’s are the mock duck, the Hakka noodles and the Garlic chilli chips. Lovely environment and fast service. Will be back for more:)

Perfect Saturday night meal. Excellent food. Took care over nut allergy and attentive service with a smile.

Below average food taste. Crispy Bahjya were just reheated and limp and tasteless. Mock duck was the worst I have ever seen. Just warmed up and burnt duck, badly chopped green shoots of spring onions, poorly chopped chunks of cucumber with some cabbage. The wrap were cold and dry.. all for £12.50- whata rip off. Food is overpriced and then you pay 12.5% service charges for really poor service. Count me out

We had a belated Diwali family dinner and had fantastic service from the Sakonis team. Thank you Anita, Krupa, Suchak and Brijesh for the friendly and efficient service. The food was so tasty and the children really appreciated that some dishes were made mild for their taste. Thank you and look forward to coming back again!

Delicious food, lovely ambient place. The service and staff were exceptional, very welcoming, very helpful . I would like to give Krupa, Anita, Brjjesh and Suchak a big shout out and thank them for 5 star treatment we received, which goes a long way, they deserve a lot of credit. Thank you all, I'll definitely be going there again!

We were very surprised, great veggie food with plenty of choices their papdi chaat is the best. We also ordered crispy bhajiya they were very fresh and a very good portion size. Mogo was excellent,The service was good as there were only few tables.We ordered masala Dosa for mains the sambar could be better and the masala Dosa was slightly burnt but tasted goodThe only down side is the restaurant closes at 9,30pm so it felt a bit rushed.

Really bad service and rude staff! They expect you to eat up quickly even though you pay premium rates for the food. Comments such as we are busy so the food you want to order we can do as a takeaway but you need to stand up and wait outside! What nonsense! Food is substandard now. Can’t recommend to go there unless you want to be told to leave!

This was my first time at Sakonis in Hatch end and what a wonderful experience, the staff and service was superb the food even better and massive portions! We came for my disabled mother in laws birthday and staff were extremely accommodating for her wheelchair by promptly providing access and making her feel comfortable. Special mention to Manager Dhruvi, and staff Krupa and Nikhil despite being extremely busy these three kept their calm were polite, accommodating and thorough an absolute credit to the Sakonis brand. Hatch end will now have to be my first point of call!

We have been coming to Wembley Sakoni’s for years. Over the years decor has been modernised but taste of the food is the same. Today we have been served by young girl called Dinal, she was very attentive, and very friendly. She was making conversation with everyone including our kids.

Wembley is an old time favourite for the family. Over the years decor has improved massively, management has improved and the taste has still remained amazing. I come here every often to get amazing Indian food. We were served by Dinal who was very friendly, courteous and attentive. Great visit…

It's an average food for me. Their special is chilli paneer, which is Indo Chinese. It's like paneer stir-fry with westernised chilli sauce. I'm not a very big fan of this. However my friend really enjoys the Chilli paneer. It's a very local Restaurant and for me it's a bit too far away. The price is very reasonable compared with central London restaurants and the quantity of food is very good.

An amazing breakfast experience this Morning, there were 4 of us and we took 1 takeout for one family member. Portions so generous and all the food was flavourful and fresh. Really great food. I had a dosa, which was very tasty for my lunch break and filling! Tasty lassi. There was a really welcoming and nice staff, especially a girl named Krupa who was serving me. Very attentive and lovely. Definitely coming back!
