Popped in quickly on way back from Wembley. Only had drinks, service good, pub clean prices reasonable The local we chatted to whilst having our drinks made us feel welcome too. Will remember for next time.

Katie Wheatley need to be sacked she smokes weed every day rude to me and she a alcoholic that shouldn’t be working in the pub because there not good to have a alcoholic working for your company and your manger Emma she good but she shouldn’t be working with Katie at all she is a bad influence on her and the manger of the George is so bad she letting people sell cocaine at of the men tolites if I was you you need to have a word with your manger there a person that goes in your pub and sells cocaine in the men’s it’s not a good look for the pub

Very nice and large pub. Very friendly and efficient staff. Nice food at a reasonable price. Good place to meet up with friends.

Sonia,Magdalena and Alfie were so nice and amazing .... They had a great customer service. Although,Patsy,Charyl had a great Customer service. Tonight,DJ Dave was phenomenal. Thank you so much DJ Dave for the entertainment also thank you so much for your assistance during the karaoke.

Bar staff leave a lot to be desired! Attitude!

THE BARMAID CALLED KATE IS THE BEST SHE LOOKS AFTER THE DISABLED MEN SHE IS KIND I WORKED FOR BENSKINS FOR 10 YEARS AND I FIND SHE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT IS GOOD AT HER JOB .

They don't serve food anymore. But you can bring your own! Cool idea!

So management changed around a month ago. Food is no longer available, but you are able to eat your food in there that you have purchased elsewhere 🙌🏾👌🏽as long as you buy a beer. And pool 🎱 is back 🎉🍾

A couple of visits in the past few weeks, one in the afternoon, the other in the evening. For a town centre pub, in a bland town centre, the George is well above par. Standard pub grub, nothing wrong with that, and decently kept drinks. A pleasant, town square sort of outdoor area. In short, if you really must to Harrow and you need some moments of respite, this is the place for you.

Half the drinks had gone bad on tap, as per the bartender. Google said they served food, even their own page did, but they stopped serving food months ago. Quite a average pub with bright light inside and not much atmosphere.

They have a pool table now £1 per game. They have a DJ on Friday and Saturday. They don't do food anymore but you can bring your own food if you buy drinks.

When I walked in for an evening pint, the barmaid said that all the beer (by which she meant the fizzy lagers) was off because the cooler was broken. I asked her about the hand-pulled real ales (namely, Hobgoblin and Fuller's London Pride), which she appeared not to recognise and which she said were off. I asked her when they had gone off, in response to which she rudely shrugged her shoulders and referred me to her manager[ess], who was sitting in a sofa in the bar with her laptop; she said that in fact the Hobgoblin was on. I asked her when the London Pride had gone off. She shrugged-off the question but said, "We need to connect it to the pipes." Thinking to myself, "Well get out of your chair and do it, then," I said, "That's not good for a pub, is it?" She replied, referring now back to the fizzy lagers, "The coolers have broken so it's out of our hands." I reminded her that it was her pub; bade them both good night and left. By contrast, the Wetherspoons pub up the road is excellent: the staff provide an excellent service and clearly take a pride in doing so. As a result, it had customers, quite a few actually and all satisfied. Besides they sell Ruddles Best @ £1.47 a pint! I might go into The George again (before it goes out of business), not to buy anything but rather to have a laugh at how well spectacularly clueless, idle, uninterested, surly staff can destroy their own pub. 😁😆🤣

A great pub for watching sports events, it's a shame that the kitchen is closed and there aren't even snacks, but everything is great

Thank you for the reply to my original posting. Just to clarify, I did not have a negative experience there, however I stayed only very briefly and could not fairly rate the other aspects of the service on offer.

Used to go a lot there , since u stop doing food wont,be as much the young lady behind the bar reamended a gin to me , think it w's a lemon one had 3 lage ones could u thank the young lady for me , think i was there about 230 she was telling me it'was tje brewey who dont want to do food , uesd to love the food in your lovery pub

They stopped serving any food a week ago.

Wanted to get a drink and watch the sports they were showing. Staff said they couldn’t serve anymore due to last orders which is fair enough but then was told you must leave the premises as you haven’t brought a drink.. when it was 45 minutes before they were closing.

Not happy not the moment pub is waiting for someone to sort the gases out. The pub is due to close on 12 April for refurbish. You would think they would get this sorted. I believe it will close before 12th

Pop in there, as I was working in the area, Staff were very friendly, food was very nice and reasonably priced. Pub was very clean, will definitely come back to try the drink one night.

Found a cozy corner with my family on a Saturday afternoon. The food was good. The Fish and chips were not available unfortunately. The chicken tikka and chicken fillet sub were good. The salad with sothern fried chicken was okay, and quite fresh and sweet.

Great pub fantastic service good selection of drinks, along with brilliant prices and good venue for watching sports.

We are regular in Harrow the George pub As we had chat with Indian girl Risham whenever we visit she always complains about the staff working George pub This girl also very rude to customers which makes customer bad service

Amazing food, professional service, great ambience. Risham was very helpful with her advise to choose our breakfast. Definitely, Must have occasion (birthday, anniversary) breakfast.

Excellent food but sadly my favourite barman Jordan is no longer here. I enjoyed coming to The George and being served by him. Have not seen him in a few weeks. His customer service was top notch and he had good craic. The remaining staff have a big shoe to fill. But I hope future visits will be good still.

Lovely place for pre drinks before dinner. Looks like you can eat in too. Also, it looks like it gets better and more lively after 9pm, but unfortunately I had a train to catch.

I go here all the time, drinks are a bit on the pricey side so if you're looking for a cheaper place, spoons is right down the road but the food here is spectacular, great seats, clean toilets, decent service its a go to dinner or lunch meal for me

Had my Sunday lunch there in Harrow today but the staff Risham had a very rude service providing a misleading price for the burger+beer deal. Giving me a bad face and attitude and claiming she didn’t charge me more. Engaged the pub leader but still nothing can be done. Worst service!!

Very warm and welcoming place. Friendly caring staff. Had Christmas Day lunch and it was really good. Exceeded expectations. Really nice time

A varied clientele that included groups watching football, people on a social and a couple that were very openly affectionate. Big, clean space with warm friendly staff. The place can be intermittently rowdy but not aggressive. This is one of the better ports bars.

Had a great night last week for the karaoke, was a great laugh and would defiantly recommend to others. Ray and Emma are doing a fantastic job of the pub great work.

Had a great visit when we passed this lovely pub. We were greeted by the new charming Irish manager Ray. He poured us the perfect Guinness and make great cocktails. The food came nice and quick. Loves the burgers. We will be back. Great job.

This pub is my usually place to eat and enjoy with family, since they change the management and staff the customer service has going down hill, the Indian female staff is terrible and argue with the customer for her fault and manager did not take action of her misbehaviour. AVOID

I came for food yesterday and the staff are very polite, food was lovely and also want to thank Emma is she was so kind to my daughter and gave her a lollipop for eating all her dinner. Will definitely come back.

The George is a cozy pub, and Katie's outstanding service made our visit special. Her friendliness and attentiveness added to the welcoming atmosphere. A great choice for a delightful evening out.

Without doubt the best Pub in this post code. Camra discounts, great ales super friendly staff. Nice n large no rowdy crowds. What's not to like 😄 Addition on Oct 28 2023! Today was a huge disappointment . There were no Ales in the cask except a poor useless 3.4% IPA so so upsetting. It ought not to call itself and English Pub , 🙃🙃🙃

First time in The George, and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The cocktails are to die for. Friday Karaoke, IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received from Magda was amazing, and we will definitely be back again. They all made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

Absolutely extravagant experience from Ray and Patsy, the food is amazing and their customer service is excellent as I had no reason to argue with my drinks and the waffle fries were so crispy!

Bar service very slow staff busy chatting to each other, I believe that your dishwasher may not be working correctly glasses very cloudy and dirty after two attempts I ended up with a straw in bottle of coke.

Visited on a Monday morning for brunch. Place was almost empty but clean. Atmosphere is a blend of old/modern. Gives the impression of being an old pub + sports bar. Staff was friendly and helpful. No parking in the street as it's a busy road but you can find parking nearby. Food was good, we had English breakfast. One negative side of it: no black pudding, which should be part of it by tradition. Would visit again.

The George is now my regular go to have a tasty and well cooked breakfast by Dom. The bar staff are really friendly in particular Katie, who knows my order and ensures I am looked after. This is the best pub in Harrow!

Went into the George On Monday morning for breakfast and was served by a lovely lady called Emma and was very helpful customer service and recommended what to eat and friendly and helpful especially making sure we had everything that we needed

Visited here for a bite to eat and a few drinks with my family, Emma hosted for us and took very good care in everything she done. The food was to die for. Beautiful pub inside and out and the staff are top notch. Will deffo be visiting again and recommend highly.

Hi. I was pleasantly surprised how wonderful the service was at your pub by a hostess called KATIE. It's a breath of fresh air when an employee goes out of their way to make one feel welcome and special.

The food was good value. It was a night out after work, and we did the small plates deal it was great.

I’m currently in Harrow for a business trip and came to the George for a quick meal and drink . I got served by a lovely lady called Katie who told me a lot Harrow and the area. She made me feel so welcome and was so happy . If I came back to Harrow I will for sure be coming back to the George due to her amazing attitude and service .

Went to the George for first time and it was wonderful experience the staff were so friendly especially the person who served me she so friendly so warm and she knew how to look after customer. The lady who served her name was Katie.

Went into have breakfast was cooked by dom was hot tasty and when had our breakfast we decided to stay for a drink was served by Katie who can I just say she is a pleasure served us a lovely cold madri was only staying for one but the atmosphere was amazing lots of locals laughing and joking so decided to stay for a few more Katie twisted our arms but really didn't take that much so keep up the good service thank u once again

I came in today for breakfast and it was lovely. The new chef is really good (I think it was Dom) I brought in 2 people with learning difficulties and they recieved a really warm welcome which is really important to myself as a support worker. Thank you Katie 😊
