Woodgate Chippy in Birmingham

Ordered food on Tuesday, order was completely wrong, chicken wasn't edible and burger was soaked in ketchup. We called to complain and the male manager I spoke too apologied and said that the next time we order it will be 50% off. Just called and ordered, and they are not honoring it. They've offered only 30%. Avoid like the plague! Unprofessional and food is lacking!

I would never eat from here again the chicken taste raw like it aint been cooked probaly by the front door there are rat droppings plz avoid

Woman working there was rude. Gave me a higher price then what it said on the board. Overpriced. Fish was hard and the chips were not fresh. The chilli sauce was horrible. I do not recommend.

Decent food, but I question how clean the place is

Unqualified staff ,dont know whats going on as chips always cold and dry chicken donor not cooked properly still raw. Sorry but never eating uncooked food from your chippy again.

Chips are never fresh and they are dry. First time I had large cod it was big, fresh and batter was moist and soft . Then the past few times ordering I've been getting cod that I'm shocked they would even serve someone. They keep giving me half of a cod, chopping it in half so it looks. Also very black and scalely underneath.

Prices are decent. Portions aren't massive Pizza was nice and a good price for opening offers, but compare it to others ive had then i would not choose this one. Chicken was a bit tastless in terms of the flavour on the skin. Been again and got a large chips which looked like a small.

Absolute joke ordered food nothing said others kept ordering samething I asked what's happening . We are waiting on chips Finally chips 2 scallops curry sauce served Curry sauce is set n cold And how the hell can you cook the batter on scallops but the potato is still raw Chips Half cold n brown rest was un cooked mush Lot went in the bin.

Well mannered, attentive staff. Reasonable prices. Nice food. I ate the chicken kebab and chips.

Horrific food absolutely disgusting the salad on the kebab was old and rotten the kebab meat might as well have been dried strips of boot leather The roe and battered sausage tasted like they were cooked 8 hours ago Chips were also dry and overcooked pretty much everything in their display window was overcooked and looked like Battered cardboard Do yourself a favour and walk up the road 5 minutes to woodlane chip shop

Just been to Woodgate chippy at 9.40pm Friday night to be told "sorry we've got no chips". What a joke🤬🤬

Everytime me and my Girlfriend have gotten food from there she has fell ill so I don't think they know what they are doing in there

Newly opened prices are good waiting time is about 5 to 10 minutes but they cook from fresh and it tastes great pizzas are freshly cooked and a great price lots on the menu would recommend to others

First time had cod chips well if it was cod was a funny colour chewy was greecy my dogs had it sorry but not to good

amazing local chippy with brilliant prices for the quality of food you get, so lucky this has opened up close to me and my family have already been a couple times. As a student coming back from London its so refreshing to have good takeaway options at such a decent price- really nice pizza, love the chips!

Food not the greatest, staff all confused with orders. Waited 20 mins to the be told they had no hot wings cooked so had to wait for them even though everything else was packed and ready. Fish was slimy

Menu options are good and so is pricing. They have just opened so are getting their bearings I guess. But still the 3 times we've been there the food is great...it takes a while but with the pizza's being made to order to can be expected.

New Chippy always use wood lane was passing only ordered mini fish and chip and nan with chicken tikka. Staff seemed confused and not sure about order. OK new takeaway my fish chewy and chicken tikka tasteless. I think got fish and chips not mini as alot of food unfortunately threw most away. Staff not friendly. .

The food took 30mins and when I arrived home I found a hair in my pizza. Extremely poor.
