Worst dining experiance ever, food was not edible, food wasnt available. service was terrible..Over priced and didnt know we had to pay extra to sit in until we had to pay! Will never go there again.

Great place to eat, the food was amazing full of lots of flavour. Server Mohammad was attentive and welcoming. Coming back this is the spot if you like lovely food and Turkish tea.

The food was spot on !!! The decoration looks amazing and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food was amazing! They have great selection of variety of dishes and their daily specials and stews are so fresh and taste like moms cooking, definitely coming back and definitely recommend to visit.

I had lamb Shish, rice and salad, food was great and the service by Mohammed Defo recommend this place. The price was reasonable too

My experience at Wood Mangal was exquisite, the staff were lovely and welcoming and the service we received as a family was great. The quality of everything offered from the drinks to the food and dessert was to such a high standard. The menu has such a wide variety of choices providing great prices for the quality and suits all appetites. If you would like to truly experience turkish dining this is my first recommendation.

Visiting from Scotland and wanted to say I just loved my visit to Baba Mangal! The lamb shank was tender and delicious, while the lamb shish and kofta were incredibly fresh and soft. Ended the meal with a rich, delicious baklava. Highly recommend!

Took family of 8. Worse experience ever. The staff members recommend family platter (which on hindsight we shouldn't have gone for) said would more than enough. When the food came platter was very small never worth £85. Other dishes were very pricey too. A small portion of chips was £3.50. 1st round breads were served pre-heated. Ribs had no meat whatsoever, less items then whats described on the menu. I would not recommend this place unless you're intoxicated on a Friday night at 12am as a last resort. PLEASE AVOID RIP OFF

Food is mediocre or average and ridiculously over priced. This happened more than once, so, We booked a table 5 hours advance, they took our name number and when We went with the family, they didn’t keep the table they gave it to someone else (thinking about money rather then having any principles). We told them that we booked the table. We came on time and they didn’t care. There was no remorse no apology no nothing. This was a regular place and we gave them too many chances and Now it will be our last ever visit.

We had a tasty kebab meal and ate in at the restaurant. Food was tasty but portions were meagre. Small side plate of salad and fresh Turkish bread arrived before the meal but this is actually part of the meal ordered. One plate of salad is served per table NOT per diner or per meal. We did have to ask for more salad but it wasn’t the same as what was served first. It was a few bits of raw onion with tomato etc. When the food arrived the plate looked so empty with about 6 small pieces of lamb shish and what can only be described as a child’s size portion of chips. Looking around at other diners some seemed to receive more than others. However I’ve given 4 stars due to the fact that I asked for more chips due to the small amount on the plate and was given more promptly and same for salad and we weren’t charged extra. The food was very tasty and I would return. Only thing that was a rip off was £6 for a small bottle of Efrain beer but aside from that it was an enjoyable meal and food was tasty and fresh.

Stumbled upon Wood Mangal while looking for somewhere to eat in Bethnal Green London. Wot! A great find. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Fresh, simple and good quality. Also the red wine was top quality. Would definitely recommend 👌

We came here for a quick bite after watching a show nearby. It was perfect - food was tasty and good value and staff were cheerful and friendly though they were getting ready to close up for the night. Lovely way to end the night!
