Adana Turkish with Fusion in Tower Hamlets

Good food, good people, good atmosphere. I was keen on trying something Turkish but a bit more kick, and Adana was just that. I ordered the grilled half chicken with their house spicy sauce- it was cooked well, was very filling and they did not shy away from portion size. 👏

My husband and I spent a few days in London and were in the mood for Turkish food—Adana turned out to be an incredible find. This Bengali-Turkish fusion spot really impressed us. Everything we tried was cooked to perfection, and far exceeded what we expected. A big thanks to Afzol, who made our visit especially memorable. His hospitality was outstanding—welcoming, attentive, and effortlessly friendly. The whole team created a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that felt more like visiting friends than just eating out. We’re really grateful to Afzol and the team for the great experience. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in London inshallah, and we’d highly recommend Adana to anyone after fantastic food and genuinely warm service.

chicken was extremely tasty and succulent and servers were extremely kind and fast, food arrived really fast.

The food was succulent, delicious, natural meat and fish from the farmland. Its portions is perfect for me as a sporty person. This is Shah Kamali (Mixed Martial Artist) usual spot to eat.

Food was amazing, I enjoyed the food I had the chicken shish wrap and it was absolute perfect. The service was top tier as we were severed very fast and it was very efficient.

I bought two lahmacun, they heated them up, they didn't even give me a salad and the employees are not Turkish, I think they are Indian.

I went in couple of days ago just for the signature sauce.. it's just so tasty. The customer service is always on top eventhough when they are busy. They do they're best to keep their customers happy. Sorry I couldn't take any pictures to upload. Our group of 4 ordered platter for four. We were very hungry we forgot to take pictures of the food. Decided to check out Adana after coming across it online. The food was outstanding! The bread was fresh and delicious, and the kufta kebab was generously sized and packed with flavor. Service from the young lady could use a bit of improvement, but overall a really good experience. I’d definitely go back for the food alone.

Absolutely disgraceful service. The staff at this place in Adana are unbelievably rude — from the waitresses to the so-called manager behind the grill. Zero respect, zero professionalism. They act like they’re doing you a favor by letting you eat there. Hands down the rudest restaurant I’ve ever stepped into. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being treated like garbage.

I visited Adana on the 13th of April, having made a phone booking as usual for 12 people at 6:45 PM. One of the waitresses — who regularly claims the restaurant is fully booked even when it’s visibly not — took the booking, though her tone felt reluctant, as it often has in the past. When we arrived, we were met with cold, unwelcoming behaviour from both waitresses and even one of the grill chefs. We were given uncomfortable looks and seated at a very congested table that was not suitable for a group of our size. At around 6:45 PM, we politely mentioned that we would be finished in the next 30 minutes — well before their next booking at 9:00 PM. Despite this, they refused to accommodate us and made it clear they didn’t want us there. As we were leaving, we overheard staff saying things like “let them go, we don’t need them,” which was extremely unprofessional and disappointing. We’ve been loyal customers for years, visiting more than five times a month, but this experience has made us seriously reconsider. Hospitality is about more than just food, and unfortunately, this visit lacked the warmth and professionalism we expect — especially from a place we’ve supported for so long.

The staff were extremely rude and unwelcoming. The place is not suitable for children. We were treated terribly, and as we were leaving, someone said, "Let them go." They always claim the restaurant is fully booked, even when it's completely empty.

I ordered 4 platters for iftar. I arrived a little early and found my order on the grill. Staff were very helpful and polite. They even gave me a bottle of water and dates to break my fast in case I was stuck in traffic and helped me take my order to my cab. Would defo recommend them. Thank you to all staff. Adana is always the best place to be alhamdullilah. Honestly the most welcoming and still somehow best tasting restaurant there is. Best chillout spot also for some Turkish tea. OG Turkish spot 😂!!! May Allah grant Barakah in everything the brothers do.

Had an amazing experience at Adana Turkish Fusion in Bethnal Green. The food was absolutely delicious, the mixed grill was cooked to perfection, and the flavours were authentic and rich. Ordered half grill chicken with rice, chicken was probably yesterdays and was hard as rock couldn’t eat it at all, Iv had food from there before but I was disappointed this time as I tried calling them to explain, they were defending thier chicken instead of listening to the customers complaint, I’m not gonna drive few miles to come back to your shop to replace my food it shouldn’t have happen in the first place, spent over £100 on food and was told to bring the chicken back so they can investigate the chicken as they don’t believe their regular customer, really don’t have time for this, it’s just shows how you treat a customer when you have messed up thier order.

Super kind and welcoming staff. Went just for dessert and after tasting the Caramel milk cake (which was insanely good just like my friend mother makes it!) I am sure I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu!

Used to be one of my favourite places to eat. Was a regular and always used to enjoy the food without a doubt. Now it’s nothing compared to how it was. Ever since the chef & one of the owners left & made their own shop, this shop has decreased so much. The food wise & customer service. The portion is nothing like how it used to be the food ain’t up to its standard anymore. Heard the other owner shop in Roman road is how the orginal adana shop was. Ordered through Uber eats today & missing items. Portion is so small compared to how it was. Not worth £15 on Uber at all.
