Wong's in Glasgow City

I ordered when they first open @ 11am, it was defo meat from day before reheated was uneditable.

I've seen this place in the food court a few times but never thought to try it. I wish I tried it sooner. the katsu curry was a great price. absolutely flavourful and the cuts of chicken were delicious! Will order again.

Food is always lovely, hot and service is quick and easy. Staff are always pleasant. Came here for years , it's a favourite. Would recommend sitting upstairs , more space and a better view.

I always get crispy chilli beef and fried rice just after it opens around noon Food is always fresh and hot never had any complaints good value for the portion size , and plenty of seating upstairs where it is much quieter , staff are nice enough , been going for years anytime I visit city centre about 4/5 times a year

Like many others we were absolutely disappointed by our choice of restaurant here! Food wasn't at all at expected level and edible. Ordered 2 meals, for the first one was never asked on the type of rice and were given fried rice which wasn't the intended option. For the second meal was asked on the type of rice but the beef and blackbean was nothing near decent, it was burning hot and I had to wait for several minutes for it to cool down, however still not enough time, had to give up and dig in, burnt my tongue on something that was more a rice stew than a sauce!! Blackbean sauce was so watery with no consistency or even beans in whatsoever; rice was soaked in black water, onions were raw with only a couple of beef bits that were too smelly to chew! Don't want to use the word 'disgusting' for any food however think that's the only one that could describe what was served at this place! Please either shut the place or fix it, a disgrace to Chinese food!

Had chicken fried rice, it was terrific. Price reasonable. Only problem was finding somewhere to sit as it was lunchtime!

Pleasant staff. Canteen style seating in the food court at St enoch. Food however was absolutely disgusting. Like regurgitated garbage. Very expensive for the basic disgusting food.

Disgusting. Stay away from that gloop they claimed was 'sour and sweet chicken'. It’s like someone took a steaming pile and called it food. It turned my stomach just smelling it, sickly sweet. I didn't even finish it, and thank heavens, because I know I'd be spewing if I had. Never touching that sorry excuse for food again. If you value your gut, stay well clear. Never again.

I ordered 2 toppings with rice. The dishes were beef curry and chicken with onions. They tasted pretty good, just to satisfy my craving. I miss Chinese food!

got chilli beef with fried rice, the chilli beef for me was a bit heavy on the soy sauce and not much if any chilli. Fried rice ok bit greasy but had a lot less grease in it from what they call prawn crackers. Which are more like grease crackers than actually tasting of prawns. If you're looking for a healthier option then any of the other food places nearby this place in the st enoch centre will do and you'll probably still end up getting something that tastes a lot better for a lot less and that says a lot when compared to McDs, B.King etc

Food was delivered 2 hours and 40 mins after ordering, when it did come the quality and taste was horrible. Fried rice burnt and salt and chilli chips are not nice at all, the salt and chilli chicken was just slimy and didn’t taste good either, curry sauce is not nice , so disappointed as I always come here when I’m in St Enochs !!!

The food took 2 and a half hours to come and changed what it said on the app three times just for the food that arrived to be of a poor quality and freezing cold however not all was cold as the drinks were as hot as could be. The chips also arrived soggy.

the delivery dude purposefully caused a disturbance in my flat and had me go down in the stairs multiple times and ran off with my food and marked it as delivered. contacted just eat multiple times and they wont respond and the number for the restaurant says user busy. cant make this up

Small portion, very dry food there was NO curry sauce in my chicken satay curry and the can of juice was missing ! Won’t be ordering from here again!

Food wasn’t good, salty and also burnt rice was inside egg fried rice. Quality wasn’t good. We couldn’t even eat it. We were so hungry and end up with this food, that we couldn’t eat!!!!!!! I need reply for this!!!! We pay for food, and giving us bad quality food which is burnt I have proof too.

Time kept changing, food was scandles I usually come into store and eat and it’s fine this time there was no chicken in the satay was all onions! And half the rice was solid and chips not cooked right won’t be back

Chips lovely noodles and curry sauce and salt pepper stuff to and beef with sauce and crackers are lovely hit fresh and big portions girl always puts loads sauce onmy food

Very quick delivery and the food was decent, however the chinese chicken curry I ordered as part of the meal deal had no chicken in it, and the curry itself consisted of a small tiny tub of curry sauce! Won't be ordering from here again when there's better portions to be had from other chinese takeaways.

The vegetable chow mein was not edible. I think they burned the oil they were cooking with or something but it tasted awful. Wish I read reviews first. I also think I saw a health code violation occur so I don't think they're gonna care if I let them know about burnt oil so I won't bother. Buyer beware here. My partners chicken fried rice was also bland..... Editing in: I ended up trying to tell them just so they would know and the guy tried to tell me "it's the flavour from the wok". I have never had wok food taste like that before... Just no.

Awful ☹️ 15-8- 22 I was looking forward to my lunch, I had sweet chilli chicken and fried rice , The chicken was horrible there was also tiny bits of meat not sure what 🤔 don't Waste your money, go to one of the other places you know what your getting , or go to China Sea

The best food shop here. Good portion for what you pay. Food has always been nice and fresh. Hardest thing is to get a seat.

18 quid for two lunches !! The food was s...t !! Tasted awful and they covered most of the plate with rice.... Old trick ! What a waste of money!! Won't make that mistake again.

I always enjoyed food from wongs any time I visited Glasgow however I had to walk away the last two times I visited as one of the servers, a young, slim, fair haired young guy was picking his nose while serving. Disgusting! He clearly needs food handling training.

I have eaten here a few times the chicken balls are awesome. And the food is good. The staff are so friendly especially the older lady In Her 50s -60s with glasses, blonde curly hair like a old Annie she was very helpfully and funny. It’s cool that they had a bring your young child to work day as she had her kid with her as well. Was a little girl with dark hair was not the best at the cash machine but god loves a trier. Would defo eat here again good food and funny staff.

Food is good there’s a good variety of choices to have if you don’t like things with veg in it they can make it fresh without the veg staff are very friendly and helpful they always help me to my table because I’m in a wheelchair

Food was OK. 1 Female staff so rude and arrogant. She was yelling at me in front of others customers when i told her that she has made the wrong order, so easy just to yelling and blame it on me. Maybe she needs to clean her ears so she can hear better what customers order. Customers pay to eat here as it's not food for free and all staff make a living from the customers so it would be nice to give a good service to your customers. While I'm standing there waiting for chilli, not once did I hear any staff or the cashier say thank you after customers had paid their orders. I hope the owner can teach the staff, Just a simple action to say to your customers " thank you , enjoy your meal " it will bring the big impact to your business.

I had a chicken fried rice from here today - 24th Nov 2018. I must say it was revolting!! Worst chicken friend rice I have ever had!! I ate about 1/4 of it and have felt sick since with stomach cramps!! I'll be giving this a miss in future!!

This is the worst, most awful restaurant in St. Enoch Centre, Glasgow. I was ordering food for my husband yesterday, got the student discount. 10 minutes later I felt hungry and went back to get a meal for myself, only to have a very rude and arrogant female member of staff scream at me that I am only allowed to use my student card for one meal. This is an awful policy as most people will eat as families and theres no point trying to attract students through offering a discount if it is going to be under these stupid conditions. What is more, the member of staff was disgusting, unprofessional and should be trained on customer service. My concerns were not taken on board, I was not listened to, just yelled at. For the price of these meals, they are very watery also, you will not be much more expensive to go somewhere else and have a good meal. Will not be returning again and I hope the owners of this business see this review and discipline this member off staff (white women, elderly in her 50-60s, blonde hair and glasses).

I always eat here,food is piping hot,great value & plenty of it,no scrimping on portions. You choose rice or noodles & one or two dishes to go with it + for £1 add a spring roll.

Just wanted a quick bite to eat but food was not good. Won't be going back, for me it was a waste of money.

Chicken was OK, curry sauce was very thin and watery. For £6 it was pretty disappointing. Staff were pleasant enough, but couldn't serve me fast enough to get back to their conversation. I don't think I'd rush back.

Am vegan and asked for fried rice with no egg and was told you can't make fried rice with no egg, funny how we have had it elsewhere and made ourselves at home! Staff were so impolite and generally cheeky! Definitely wouldn't recommend and wont be back

Staff are impolite faces couldn't look anymore unhappier. Also they wont serve you if your on a mobile phone. Mistakes they make are blamed on customer

Premium prices and slop sold as food. Chicken curry was appalling and for £5.95 you should be making sure it meets the customers expectations of being edible.

OK food, impolite staff. I'm not coming back.
