It's a Costa not much else to say you know what your getting

An employee just drove into my car and didn’t even say sorry! She just laughed with the other employees and got told to “ignore me” when I beeped. Absolutely disgusted with this costa. They should be appalled by themselves - I’ve attached a photo of the person who’s done it.

Drive through is always closed is a nightmare queuing up out the door nearly litterally must happen 3 times a week

Far too much emphasis on the JustEat orders. Not very well organised at all and took ages for a simple order

Good cup of coffee. Seating can be very busy at weekends and lunchtime and cafe is clean and has a good atmosphere. Drive thru is fast and my preferred method of getting my caffeine fix. Staff are very friendly. Ample parking and ideally suited for the bypass for a quick rest stop.

No food, as no GF options. A very welcome iced coffee, nice coffee, but I often find there is too much syrup added. It's not consistent though

Costa doesn't need any further introduction, but their fresh image is a long way away from traditional cosy, walk in coffee shop. Drive through offers a quick and convenient way to fill up.

Visited on 1 April with daughter and grandson for lunch, left just over 90 mins later and today 6 April I receive a parking fine for £100/ £60 if paid within 28 days of notice. Whilst I accept there may be signage neither I nor my daughter noticed them and no reference was made when ordering regarding parking, it appears I am not the only Costa customer to be caught out by this. Rather than face the hassle of appealing I have paid the fine at £60 but would caution any other motorist to beware of this rip off. Wold not recommend and will not be returning to this Costa coffee in the future

Don't go here, I had a coffee with a friend and we both got £100/60 parking fines a few days later. It's not as if it's the middle of town and people are trying it on, but plenty of parking in the area.

The app showed my home in a difremst street the curiourncpuodnt find me, it wasn’t his fault it was the just eat app showing my home on a diffrent street despite the addrsss been correct, the curious was polite however my food was cold.

The quality of the cups are shocking it came leaking and everything and I order an ice drink but they sent it hot

Avoid this Costa at any cost, the nearby parking is £60/£100 parking fine vultures. Didn't care I was a customer, didn't care I was delayed in store. Avoid avoid, can only hope the nearby companies stop using that parking company.

Drive through. No clear instructions, but the lassie who eventually took my order at the window was very pleasant

The staff are first class ,very quick at there job and are always friendly and go beyond what is expected of there role to make your order and experience great, the coffee and food has always been great. The price is pretty steep for what you get but the quality,taste and selection make it worth 🤣🤣

I was appalled at the customer service from the barista serving us in the Darnley store, very rude and impatient. I will not be returning and urge others not to visit.

My food was stale and cold very disappointing

£100 parking fine despite paying for food and drink!!!!! Tiny car park. No warning from staff regards parking fines. Apparently a tablet is available to log reg bit nobody tells u this when u visit. Customer service state "not the responsibility of staff". Very disappointed, luckily they have opened a Starbucks in Barrhead.....no parking fines!!!!!!

Later on in the day they never have any croscents or ever ever have things like sausage rolls. Everything is made with heaps and heaps of sugar.

Met friends here just prior to Christmas for a catch-up coffee. The coffee was decent, but shocked to see I’d been hit with a £100 fine as there is a 90minute timescale on how long you can park. (Signage not obvious in the dark) Perhaps I’m naive, but I presumed if you were a customer giving trade to the business then you would be exempt from parking restrictions during your time giving them custom… Costa don’t think so, I’ve tried to contact them a few times but they’re not interested. Presumably there is a lucrative contract signed with the parking management firm. Looking at other reviews, this obviously isn’t an isolated incident. Please beware - go somewhere else for your coffee as customers are being scammed here.

Met here to catch up with someone and spent a lot of time over coffee and food. Two weeks later, have received a £100 parking fine. There may be signs but i wasn't expecting this, so didn't look for any signs as I've been before without any problem. I certainly won't be back.

The staff were friendly and coffee was good.

Your normal Costa coffee, with plenty of parking and a drive through. The staff there seemed particularly friendly. Great for a business meeting.

Not happy that I asked for no chocolate dusting on my coffee and it came with it on. I’m dairy intolerant

Didn't see any signs about parking but got a £100 parking fine for being 10 mins over their allowed 1hr 30min parking limit. No comment from staff or sings in the shop about this. Will be choosing one of the many other coffee shops in future

I asked for the food to be a lift called so I could help for lunch items every day for five days and never had a problem today. My food came hot. That means I had no lunch I can in the morning they don’t eat. My breakfast ended up in the bin.

Ordered a breakfast wrap, bacon roll turns up, was like chewing a cold brick, coffee was as cold as the artic, ordered new maple muffin, blueberry turns up, think stevie wonder was on shift this day & to add to insult the driver must of drove the nc500 twice before he decided to deliver. Terrible.

Visited this costa cafe at Darnley on 1st oct 2023 at 3pm, sat in cafe with my daughter and friend had coffee cake and sandwiches, stayed for 1 hr 40 mins, now received a parking charge today for £100 for parking in the costa car park, apparently you only are allowed to park for 1 hr 30 mins so for going 10 mins over I have received a £100 fine! Absolutely furious at this. Didn’t see any signs clearly, very unfair when I was a customer just gng for a coffee and get charged this. Very sneaky. Esp in cost of living crisis to go out for a small treat and it to end up costing £100 in a fine is disgraceful. Shame on costa for allowing this to happen to its own customers, I will never be back.

I always use the drive thru on a Saturday morning and the team are a 10!!!

As a regular on Costa all over the UK, this one is not up to the good standards of others. Very slow to get 2 coffees and my flat white was weak - even after asking for less milk.

Nice size costa and lovely staff. I've noticed recently though that they never seem to have the limited edition coffee or hot chocolate flavours and very little in the way of cake choices! Sometimes better going to the machine at the Tesco petrol station for coffees.

i wanted a pink drink with one pup of vanilla,and a caramel latte with a extra two pumps of caramel,and a egg sandwich,i wish they were nicer because they kept on saying this wrong shop its COSTA NOT STARBUCKS and i was saying that i know my coffie shops they where being rude by saying go away, stop, hang up. and thats why i left the review thank you.

Good Costa outlet, clean, staff efficient and polite. It was quite busy when I visited and the atmosphere was relaxed. Worth a visit.

We used the drive thru, again lots not in stick but they did manage my coffee so that was good.

4.30pm on a Sunday. Almost every table unoccupied but not one of them cleared. Guy in front had to ask for a table to be cleared so he and his disabled wife could sit down. Other customers did it for themselves. Clearly not enough staff. Floor was filthy. It has always been poor for cleanliness though. Have decided that's it for us. Shame as the coffee and cakes are excellent.

A friend and I arrived here at 7 in the evening to grab a coffee before heading for a walk and chat nearby - to find they had no decaf. For a major chain to have none at that time in the early evening, when many people want to limit the caffeine at that point in the day, is pretty poor. Service and speed were all fine, but still...!

We have been going to the drive through Costa coffee in Darnley for a while now and without a doubt the lady in the drive through absolutely makes my day every time . She’s so happy and so positive and in these times and days it’s so nice Thank you so much
