KFC Glasgow - Nitshill Road in Glasgow City

Ordered 45 quid worth of food from this branch. Man came to the door with 1 item which he took back once discovered was wrong when I checked at the door. He went away to sort it and never came back. Left with no food at all and 45 quid out of pocket no one to contact and branch don't answer the phone. Utterly gutted about this whole experience. Had to order from elsewhere. Won't be getting KFC again unless in a branch.

Place was empty but still took 25 minutes to get food. Lad who was serving us had 2 speeds, dead slow and slow, you know who you are and so do your colleagues. Got wrong order but couldn't face going back to change it. Food was okay.

Every time I order from here if it's in store or through just eat there is always something missing. There is no leadership in this store, ran by kids who clearly don't take their time when putting orders together

This place needs a manager the sort staff out , food is very poor small portions than usual and burger thrown together possibly in the dark . While loud staff at counter think its a street corner to chatter about weed . Tables are very dirty again the underran staff behind counter could be tidying up

I couldn't find any table that is clean. The floors were dirty too and rubbish everywhere. Some items were missing in my order. Food was not fresh and warm. I will never come there again.

Very poor portion sizes compared to other KFC restaurants. There was no table number stands for the self service.

Good and quick service from drive through

Visited KFC darnley last week. The chicken was chewy and slightly burned, and our order was one burger short. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and paid another visit yesterday. Explained we were short of a burger last week. This was replaced. However, they then did not give us the large popcorn chicken in our order. Got the meal home, and it was disgusting. Extremely burnt chicken. And burgers were very rubbery, to say the least. Also noticed, looking in the drive-through window into the large number of gentlemen just wandering around. Discovered some where delivery drivers. To summarise, I would strongly suggest not using this KFC whatsoever. It's only a matter of time before someone is poisoned.

Good tasty food.Faster service.Nice and clean atmosphere.100% improvement compared to my last visit.The only thing i have noticed KFC is open till 11pm for sitting in.But staff partially closed 3 quarter of the restaurant area and only 5 tables available for dinners to sit. I've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but everyone leaving a poor review here is telling the truth, the place is so badly managed it's only a matter of time before it disappears. Can't understand why though, it's in a prime spot and we've been going for years. Nowadays though, orders are wrong, the quality of the chicken has nosedived and your more likely to get a tough wafer of what used to be a chicken on your sandwich. If the management are reading these reviews please listen and return the store to its former glory 🙏

Only product that was warm was c.o.b ,no butter on corn,chicken was slightly warm,chips over cooked and dried out and cold,should have known better chip rack full ,no one in store and no drivers waiting 9pm tonight sat 4th may,will go to elsewhere🤔

I think you need to take your staff on a course on how to acknowledge customers. This store was not busy (I know why). No communication skills from your staff on duty Sunday 21st April 2024 at 1.15pm. We walked out after standing to be served. Not evan a we will be with you in a minute, just staff walking about like they really don't want to be there. A man stood waiting longer than us, couldn't say what he got but I'd guess 2 bits of chicken in a bag only to bring it back!!! Incompetence at its best.

Quick delivery But the food was stone cold and Chicken was Black in parts ABSOLUTELY a waste of money that's a few times I've ordered and it's been average at best...never again KFC food quality has diminished and I loved it shame

I’ve ordered 5 meals from this bad branch Nirshill Road Glasgow , the rice box was very bad taste!! the rice is just maybe one spoon and half of the box empty and cold , the all 3 zinger box’s comes without mash or cravy just the fries and the sandwich , 2 Pepsi cans are missing , it’s extremely very bad experience . I don’t recommend to buy from this KFC

This place needs an urgent refurbishment. The drive through speaker hardly works and some of the drinks machines don't work, they give out cans instead. The food is good but with things not working it does make you wonder about other items serviceability, so if your stuck then use it, if you have a choice I would try somewhere else

I don't normally make reviews at all, and normally when I get a bad experience at fast food I don't normally complain, I used to work in fast food, I get the struggles, but this was something else. We went through the drive thru because drive thru normally get food quicker than dine in or take away, was getting a bit of food because half my family was sick so we decided to get a takeaway. We thought it was going to be quick considering inside the shop looked dead. We waited 30 minutes in the drive thru parking lot and only found out when I went in to check on the order that the guy serving got rid of the order receipt and then went home, meaning no-one even knew of the order. Giving 2/5 on service cause the girl at the tills was apologetic which was nice. And the food was okay too, however, it was hella dry and got a couple things missed in the order. Even as a former avid fan of KFC, I won't be going here anytime soon, probably better to settle for the Maccies next door.

Been a few times over last 12 months. Every time the order has been wrong in one way or another so have taken to checking before I leave to the disgust of the girl at the checkout (who constantly gets it wrong!) Went on Friday eve to order a bucket of chicken and was told " eh no chicken" i tried to empathise and asked how come? Have you been super busy. Got a cheeky response of, "how do I know I'm not the managing director". Terrible customer service, always seem short staffed and now they dont even have chicken. We went elsewhere for our takeaway and won't be back. Don't think it will be long before this place closes down which is a shame as if it was run properly it could be a thriving business.

Ordered 2 box meals to take away, Trilogy & Boneless Banquet and some BBQ bites. Only 2 sides available beans or corn. No popcorn chicken, but no biggie - offered extra fillets instead. Got home to find Trilogy had extra fillets but Boneless Banquet consisted of 2 portions of fries and no chicken whatsoever. They had put all the chicken products in one box and fries and corn in the other. So, in essence paid over £20 for 1 portion of BBQ bites, 1 zinger burger, 4 fillets, 4 fries and 2 corn on cobs. Place wasn’t busy, 2 customers sitting in, but appeared that what little staff available were running around like headless chickens. No wonder McDonald’s drive thru was queued round the block. Won’t be back to this branch. Advice - always check your order before leaving - or just go anywhere else.

An absolute shambles of an eatery. Working late, I popped in on the way home to pick up something quick to eat. Stood at the counter with around 8 or 9 others, all being roundly ignored by what appeared to be the only two staff members on duty. None of the ordering touchscreens are working. None of the overhead displays are working. I was directed ("yeel needtae yooz 'e website mate") to use their website to chose my order (on my own phone), despite pricing not being listed. Myself and two others swiftly turned and left. It's always been a shambolicly run KFC, but it appears it's gone even further down the pan. Avoid like the plague.

The dirtiest KFC I think I've been in. The place was full of rubbish does nobody clean this place. The burger I got was rotten I think it was under a hotplate all day. Dried up. I don't recommend this place it's so bad.

Turned up tonight with my son to get food and a wee freebie he had built up on his app by buying numerous meals, first bad experience was when I went over to the counter to ask how my son went about getting his free item however as I stood for about 5 minutes while a heavy set woman and another woman with a foreign accent stood and spoke to someone in what looked like an office at the end of the counter made eye contact but never once ask if they could help me or tell me they wouldn't be long, so at that point I walked back to my son at the table and we both tried to work out what we needed to know, then we both approached the counter to be approached by a young girl with blonde hair and glasses who was very polite and clean who tried to help with our request, eventually we put our order in, while waiting for our order this young boy starts walking round to the front counter from the back fryers, on his way round he rubbed his nose all the way up the sleeve of his top, then touches his nose with his fingers then lifts his cap and runs his fingers through his head and hair, then starts to put an order together and puts it in a bag so I said to the young blonde girl if that is my order I am not accepting it and she asked why so I told her then she told the heavy set woman who started to rant about the reason she didn't serve me was because she was busy however this was in a rude manner until I interrupted her and told her that it was nothing to do with her not speaking to me or serving me and told her about what I just witnessed the boy doing so she said I never saw him do that and guess what? No apology in any way shape or form, so got my newly made order which I hope was made by someone hygienically proud and left, sorry for the long story folks but to cut it short then avoid kfc nitshill road at all cost, as far as hygiene goes I would be surprised if most of the staff in that place could spell it never mind follow hygiene. ?(Avoid Avoid Avoid)

Food was hot and fresh, place was clean looks new inside. Staff were friendly, all in a great experience.

Today I ordered online, collected through the drive through... my order was missing gravy and a whole wrap! I NORMALLY (normally being the word to use because this happens EVERYTIME without fail.) don' t make a complaint as it seems to fall on deaf ears and goes nowhere. But I can't even describe the lack of common sense, awareness, and (for lack or a better word) stupidity of the staff. It's like trying to communicate with a bunch of Neanderthals. Rude, ignorant and clearly not capable of ... well lets face it, reading the orders. Now, I have never worked in KFC but I do know that it's not a hard job, yet the simplest of orders never seem to be correct. I'll take the hit, ONCE AGAIN, on my money... You can keep it and use it toward hiring better staff . Your welcome. Never ever will I use this restaurant again. I rather drive all the way to East Kilbride Queensway at least the staff there can do their job correctly and smile.

Would never review a fast food place cos it is what it is but the wee guy with the specks was so rude. They had nothing and he acted as if we were the reason why no fizzy juice on tap no hot drinks no corn. Instead of getting my order of juice I wanted, he put his head in his hands and started to moan to another member of staff cos it was another thing we wanted they didn't have. Honestly charged £1.80 for a cup of warm 7up from a bottle that was sitting on the counter.

Visited Glasgow Darnley KFC this afternoon with my son. Ordered 2 box meals with fries and soft drink and 1 ice cream. Was not impressed. No Co2 in fizzy drinks machine as the dispensed drinks from the drinks machine were flat. Staff then filled 2 cups from 2 ltr plastic bottles. The ordered ice cream was non existent, told by uninterested employee that ice cream machine was out of order. They then proceeded to get order wrong and charged me for the ice cream. Chicken was under lights too long, texture dry and hard to eat. The chips were soft and mushy too. Place was deserted as well..... We won't be back

Food not great - dry, very small portions & over priced.....promised myself years ago never to go back but stupidly I did &, once again, wasted my money. Female member of staff was an absolute disgrace - there was an error on her part but instead of apologising, she started shouting. Will definitely not be back & especially to Darnley!!

Bad, won't be back. The food was great, but the service was appalling. The staff were run off their feet dealing with drive through and delivery orders, so the customers in the restaurant were absolutely neglected. I stood at the counter for 7 minutes waiting to talk to someone about a very small omission in my order and ended up having to wave my arms to get attention. The bins are full, there are no napkins and if you want cutlery, you're a dreamer. Nobody was nasty or mean, they were just obviously prioritising different aspects of service and appeared to be short staffed and under trained. I think they'd do better if they didn't offer dine in because it really felt like they didn't care about those of us sat eating right in front of them.

This Brunch is absolutes waste of place and let me tell you about the staff, it sounds the staff never had a proper training to serve customers, have no manners neither respects it is like “My way or the highway “in this place with its staff. I’m even started telling you about taking the orders. They have no patience with customer and they don’t even listen properly to the order over the drive through. The order always has to have something missing, unfortunately there isn’t another branch of KFS to go to but this branch as local. Tonight I went for a quick drive through and again ended up getting off the car and asking for missing bits yet when I got home I realised the most important thing was missing which is the drippings and just before that I had to get off and ask for the beans side order. While was waiting saw another customer was having the same problem, what does that tell you. who is the owner of this branch cuz needs to see what is happing with his/her business. Owner you need to wake up and do something !!!!!

Absolutely shocking service. Turned up to buy my son a kfc as he’s in hospital and I wanted to treat him. First night they closed 20 early and wouldn’t let me in. Next night there wasn’t anyone at the drive through speaker done when I drove round to the window there was no one serving even though they were all standing about pretending not to see or hear me.tapped the window and they looked over then continued to ignore me again. I went to park and we in and asked why they did that to be told they had a problem in the kitchen and the kitchen had to shut down this was 9 o’clock at night My. Very last kfc at Darnley went to the one in Linwood instead where they couldn’t have more helpfull. Shocking Darnley

Absolutely sick of getting the wrong order at the drive through and then when you open it it's dried up and just off cold. You need to up your game if you want to stay in business. Chips were disgusting, dry and cold, fillet burger was a little less cold but dry and tough. Wings were hot and good. Oh and the cappuccino machine is never working. This place used to be reliably good but has been shocking last few times. Cannot wait for Popeyes to open so I can get decent takeaway hot food. Overall appalling and won't be back.

I ordered large fillet meal x 2. Firstly there was no breast meat in any of the two meals I ordered and was given a lame excuse by one of the employees, I explained to her that my order was for breast chicken only 4 peaces in each order ,she explained that this is the only chicken available , (3 drum sticks , 1 wing ) and these portions were the same price and I wasn't charged extra.! Bad explained and wasn't happy with food ,employees, and the whole experience, the cost was over £ 25 and if anyone from KFC wish to check my claims just contact me directly. Staff didn’t have a clue what was in and out of stock. Also told bottles of a drink were sold out when the open container next to the kfc was open and full of it. Staff just couldn’t be bothered.

Hopeless. Service undeserving of even 1 star. Ordered a 14 piece bucket and was very specific about not wanting legs and only breast pieces. The waitress nods her head and when I go home and open the bag.. Guess what? All leg pieces. Despite me confirming twice with the waitress when I took delivery of the order. What a waste of money.... Never going back again.

Firstly i ordered via machine and got two ice creams. They went through successfully and i waited for at least 20 minutes i then notified them and they apologised and they said the ice creams were coming.Another 15 minutes went by and still no ice cream they then acknowledged i was still there and they asked if i was still waiting for the two ice creams i said yes then after 5 minutes i got the two poorly made ice creams (chocolate sauce leaking all over the tub, no spoons and half melted ice cream) bad experience.

This KFC stands out with their inability to get orders correct. It’s a bit of a running joke that we’ve never had an order without something missing/wrong. I think they boil the chips too, instead of frying them. They come in a soggy ball.

Honestly the worst kfc out there doesn't even deserve 1 star. Chicken is not fresh dry and chewy and if you get delivery you will be lucky if you actually get half your order. Dont buy!

Service has been really good and efficient. All the staffs were really nice. We asked for a large order and we got it with no issues.

Very, very disappointing. I feel completely ripped-off. It’s hard to imagine where I’ve had a poorer place for food in recent years. My meal cost £9.40. I was still very hungry after it. The burger was minuscule and the small bun was way bigger than the goujon-sized piece of chicken. It came with a small drumstick, that was delicious but mostly bones. I got way less fries than I should have. I asked for beans and got gravy. The coffee was okay but was a 40p add-on. For the money I spent, I should be at least full even if the food is poor. It was no more than £4 worth of food and service, masquerading as £9.40’s worth. The service was slow despite me seeing at least 5 staff members and being the only person they were serving. There was no ketchup, I mean, really? I was taught to always use a condiment. No doubt I will go back to KFC, but not the Darnley one. I can see why the place was empty. If this is standard for this place then anyone visiting will simply never go back. People are looking for value these days, and this was the opposite of that. Poor stuff.

Worst KFC I've ever been to. I ordered through the app then drove to pick up food . I waited inside for about 45 mins , no updates about my order and no info displayed on screen . Worst of it the chicken was tasteless, very plain , very little salt . I thought it was just me I kept it quiet then wife and kids mentioned it doesn't taste like KFC chicken. I've had KFC chicken several before but never experienced flavourless chicken like this.

The chicken I was served from this outlet today was absolutely cremated and dripping in grease. Hardly finger licking good... more like throw it straight in the bin! It was a drive-thru order, so by the time I noticed how bad it was, I was already home. The staff are constantly getting orders wrong here, and I often hear them shouting and swearing at each other behind the counter in full earshot of customers. For quality of food and service, this has to be the worst KFC outlet I have ever visited. This franchise is a disgrace to the KFC brand.

If you are lucky enough to get fresh food then its actually good (thats if you get the right order) Time and time again drive through orders are wrong or items missing. Last two orders have been done in branch, both with mistakes, and met with attitude when the mistakes are pointed out.

Asked which drink I would like, I said Tango. My husband brings the food over and my drink is not Tango. He enquires about the drink and is told they don’t have any Tango, Pepsi Max is the alternative. Part of my order wasn’t on our tray, it was still at the food area. The chips weren’t fresh - I suspect the oil needs changed. Asked for the accessible toilet to be opened to change my 2 year old daughter. The toilet seat was up with urine stains on the toilet. Someone’s Aussie conditioner by the sink. A wooden KFC fork was in the changing table. Litter on the floor. Sink plug hole clogged up with cardboard. I did tell the server, who had also been the one to open the toilet door, that it needed a good clean. No apology, just a wistful, “I’ll tell someone.” This is our second and final visit to this branch of KFC. For so many staff behind the till, the space isn’t clean enough.

Staff can be at times stand offish and manners with certain staff it'd a hit or miss with them food okay but would recommend you double check your order before you drive of

Having placed my order for our KFC food, I was disgusted to learn, that not only was the order wrong, but the food presented was cold and not very appetising. The staff at this establishment couldn’t care less about the quality of the food they present to their customers or indeed if the order has not been properly processed ! Alas, perhaps if the £22 for two burger meals was to be deducted from their salaries, they might take more of an interest in what’s presented to their customers 🤢

We'll never use KFC delivery again. We were supposed to get 2x 6 piece chicken for free, one as first time delivery, and we won one last time we used the app in store. We also ordered another meal and some sauces. We only received one 6 piece chicken bucket with fries and we got the drink and mash from the meal. So we were missing most of the boneless banquet, all of the sauces, and one of the free chicken buckets. The chips were inedible. We couldn't call the restaurant, had to call KFC deliveries (by deliveroo) and wasted ages trying to explain what had happened. They refunded only part of the money and would not budge. So I ended up paying £6 for a portion of mash and a can of juice. The meal was ruined. Hopeless and no recourse other than to do a chargeback on my credit card which is just too much hassle....

Constantly getting stuff wrong misseed half my order and wants worse is that it was stone cold and stale. went up to go get it replaced with fresh and they said they couldn't do anything about it as ive gotten the food .floors are greasy nearly fell the toilets are stank the only thing edible from here is the live rats.

After having to wait a long time in the drive thru, we got home to find the order was wrong. A cheaper option given and not boneless. Would take too long to go back and get it corrected.

Excellent food and friendly service

A lot of negative comments, I don't know why KFC management doesn't see it. There was an employee wearing a necklace who made fun of customers and made jokes about them. I recommend not employing children in this branch.

Been a few times, always missed sometgung from my order

Standing in the queue, a girl serving with a grey shirt on was having a conversation with someone over the counter who was clearly an employee who hadn't been paid their proper wage. She was swearing constantly, in full earshot of everyone in the queue. An elderly woman and her husband were standing next to me shaking their heads. Her attitude was absolutely atrocious. Then my food came. The chicken was so dry, I left half of it. I will never be back there again.

Everytime we order from this kfc there is something wrong with the order. Today I got a wrap meal and honestly the wrap was laughable. It has a tiny fillet inside with one leaf of lettuce and a bit of cheese. In comparison to what it states to include and the photos it was ridiculous. It wouldn’t even fill a child. I’m so unimpressed. I can’t even figure out how to upload a picture to show how poor the wrap was. And for the price?! Absolutely ridiculous.

I don’t normally leave reviews but have got to the stage where it’s every time you go here there is something not right. They forget something or it’s just not what you ordered. I don’t know if they do it on purpose or just don’t care but why ask what side you want with your meal when you’re just going to give us what you feel like giving anyway? Sick of receiving coleslaw instead of the side we asked for. How can you eat a rice box with a fork so small you can’t get anything on it? And they don’t have water as a drink option ??

The service here is shocking. 25 mins wait for one meal, the shop wasn't even busy. In the time I waited I watched one of the staff members let their friends skip a gentleman who was waiting and placed their order first. One of the staff turned to another and went in a rather rude tone "what are they waiting for?" (In reference to my order), she could have asked me instead. Poor show
