Tesco Cafe in Glasgow City

not delivered I have no idea what they're doing

The food was cold, amount of the food called a breakfast was the bare minimum and I ordered a cappuccino and got half a cup of plain coffee. For the money they charged I was expecting something better.

order food for family it arrived 30 mins late, will have to check to make sure it got there

good food, and delivery driver was great

quite disappointed with the portion sizes with the chunky chips. there were around a dozen chips in each box. not great value for the price. they tasted great but at £6 for what is essentially still a half portion of chips I can't recommend it.

no stars, where was it delivered to because I never got it

Ordered a large breakfast and bagel but received only a coffee

delivery driver said tea was damaged so I asked him to take it

Paid for extra item that I didn’t receive in either breakfast

usually great but the bag with the tea was open and leaking everywhere so I. had to throw it away

The woman with the black hair behind the counters attitude is stinking, went up to order and got asked “what is it you want” .. staff need customer service training badly they stand around gossiping about there colleges while the food is under the lamp getting cold

Good food and drinks but the tea was leaking and ruined the bag until there was almost nothing left,

Absolutely shocking can't get an order right the waitress is Absolutely shocking the price is ridiculous would never recommend anyone going their at all

30 mins before food arrived and that only when we mentioned we were still waiting . Hire more staff Instead of having one person run around like a loony.

A significant delay caused both hot drinks and food to become cold. Despite this, I continued to try the other dishes, which were also disappointing. I wish I could post images of the food

Messed up our order, got it second time. Food doesn’t stay warm long coffee cold as well. Cafe cold too

Sent it back to shop as took 3 hours to come

Asked for a decaf latte, was told that they could make it. I developed mouth ulcers almost immediately while drinking the latte, meaning that the latte they made was not decaf, as I have never had ulcers from decaf drinks, only caffeine causes this problem. Not fatal of course, but they will take at least a week to heal now. NEVER AGAIN. Imagine how you can end up if they do not care about what they serve to people with food allergies.

Chips were cold and quite hard,at £3 a box I wd hope that they wd taste nice. Normally they are crispy and soft but today's were not nice.

Delivery time was disgraceful. Changed 3 times and at one point said ‘To be updated’. Took TWO hours to arrival from ordering and not even 10 minutes from the place. Terrible, terrible service. Needs sorting out.

Unfortunately several items missing from breakfast and no apple juice with the kids meal.

Chips were amazing cooked perfectly and the toastie was really tasty

Didnt get one of the two ham & cheese croissant i ordered but the one i did get was cold in the middle. The peas also hadnt been seasoned/ where bland.

I didn’t like the experience at all the food was burn then too cold to eat . It was there for someone to bring it to me but they didn’t until half an hour

Stood at the till for 5 minutes waiting for one of the two staff who were chatting to serve me. One kept looking at me so they knew I was there. Ended up leaving empty handed as was taking to long.

Time kept changing and took very long.

Was here this morning, for a much needed breakfast after school run and to say disappointed is a understatement, our food was in the window and they had rang the bell, it was cold and my husbands didn't have his blackpudding or mushroom, when asked about it she said she would get it, when it came it was so greasy and think it was put in the deep pan fryer,our toast was freezing and to be fair the toast and cold beans where the only thing that was worth eating and you don't want to know how the bacon was. Very disappointed... definitely give it a miss, as we will Not be back.

Staff are lovely..very friendly and approachable.

Lovely breakfasts - not greasy, food hot when delivered and items not all in a one mixed up mess. We throughly enjoyed our brunch. Just one recommendation- could black pudding be added as an option?

I ordered a breakfast, but instead received a wrap and a beverage. Unbelievable.

They forgot the add-ons that I paid extra for. Fried egg was not completely cooked. Delicious coffee though.

I had mentioned how there was an issue with previous order and they made up for it and more with this one. The food is delicious I recommend the elemental croissants and the goats cheese and caramelised onion panini

i ordered chips they came freezing cold and burnt

The food delivered was cold & missing items. I phoned the cafe and informed them of missing items as per delivery driver advice. I heard the member of staff before they came on the phone sounding irrate and claiming to the other staff member that all items in the bag. They were quickly corrected as I advised them that I can provide video evidence from the ring doorbell of missing items & COMS with delivery driver.

Delivery driver couldn't follow simple instructions I shouldn't have to go out of my home to collect it off the driver the whole point of home Delivery it's to your door .Even telling him the direction did not listen 15 minutes to Delivery a 5 minutes journey if that

Goats cheese foccacia didn't have any goats cheese on it but toastie was good.

Charge you for extras but give you none

Cooked breakfast was fine but ordered a slice of cake at £3.60 and it wasn't with my order. Tried to phone cafe and cannot get to speak to anyone there. Not impressed.

I did not receive food then went to go out of house 1 hour later it was sitting on the door step no knock on the door nothing really disappointed in the service as you don't just drop food at a door and run 😒

Absolutely terrible. Waited 15 minutes for food that was sitting under a heat lamp. Dry and cold. Asked for refund. Waitress barefaced lied that food had been sitting there that long. No apology, just money refunded and told it didn't happen as she was up at the hatch. Food usually mediocre at best. But customer service disgraceful. Won't be back.

The avocado wasn't even ripe, the mushroom was undercooked and the all the hot food along with the hot chocolate was all cold.

Enjoyed my coffee and lemon cake. Comfortable with enough seating. Music not too intrusive. Staff pleasant and willing to assist. Tables sanitized after each customer. Floors and tables clean.

Cafe staff very helpful in ensuring all items ordered were packaged for delivery: they kindly sent chocolates and cake as an apology for previous items being missing in my order ..I thought that was very kind of them…we enjoy the food ; it’s fresh ; good portions and nice quality; would recommend..👍🏻

Breakfast is advertised as link sausage, it’s not it’s a square. Otherwise ok for the price. Half a slice of bread as toast is a bit miserable though.

Hit the spot. However, one breakfast was missing the tomato and there was no toast at all. I like to squish my fried tomato onto my toast - so a wee bit disappointed on this occasion.

Over priced as far as a breakfast goes. Dont let you swap items (3 hash brown, and a tomato for 1 nit of black pudding). At nearly 7 quid you dont even get a slice of toast with it or even a tea or coffee. Avoid it definitely

Have been popping in a couple of times a week since this cafe opened and usually the service is decent. However, over the past few months the service provided by the ladies taking orders/payment at tills has been pretty appalling. They all seem to be newer members of staff who don’t know how to interact with customers appropriately. From barking at you when they’ve messed up/forgotten things from your order, this happens nearly every visit, to closing the kitchen early because “they can’t hang about all night” 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s a shame because there are members of staff who have been working there for literal years who are fantastic and the food is generally good, when they get the order right.

Slow service. Limited selection food and drink. Staff pleasant.

Rather expensive for just a coffee and snack.

The roll was full, fresh and tasty and this was matched by my latte. All very friendly and relaxed.

The food I ordered was okay but I had to wait almost half an hour to have it served at my table

Oh my goodness. The food in here is great. I ordered the big breakfast and it was very surprisingly of high standard. Tasted great. Pity the coffee served is no longer Costa coffee which I really miss as I am a returning customer to Tesco cafe but the food is what keeps me returning.

Dont order there big breakfast paid extra £1 for black pudding got 1 slice. Bacon under cook so was the sausage luke warm. Staff not interested it must have been sitting too long in the kitchen.

Eggs Royale are are perfect. Excellent cappuccino. Just dishes was taken away to fast.

Food was only warm not hot. Pretty mediocre really. Refrigerator broken, cold drinks were warm. Place was not very clean. This used to be a nice place in Tesco, not so much any more. Will avoid in future

Well this was unexpected. Quite unlike any Tesco cafe I've been to and all the better for it.

Breakfast was fresh, hot an tastey.

I got the ham hock and piccalilli sandwich which was tasteless! Mum got all day breakfast- bacon was hard, hash brown tasted nothing like hash brown should, beans were dry and the fried egg was cremated! Won't be back!

Yummy food and the staff are lovely. Will be back.
