Wonderful Chinese Takeaway in Wakefield

Excellent customer service and the food was delicious.

Delivery driver didnt bang on my door, used my doorbell (big thing when kids are asleep and wake up at every night). When ringing, staff are kind and food is amazing!!

Worst salt and pepper box I've Eva had got a large an well I'm still hungry avoid the salt pepper boxes ripped off is not even close

Ordered the aromatic duck, it was just a over cooked duck breast and it was in cubes not shredded, the chips were awful too, will not be going there again, the bin got most of it

Was very busy last night, I couldn't get through on phone but drove down to order and didn't wait long. Haven't had a decent Chinese takeaway in Castleford for 2years, places seem to have gone downhill but had a craving and decided to give this place a go. Very happy I did as the food was delicious and there was plenty of it so much so that it did me another meal today. Had salt and pepper chips and unlike others they had lots of flavour, onions and chillies and weren't over cooked. Also had the tofu with green peppers in black bean sauce with fried rice and this was fab, definitely recommend to others whether you're a vegetarian or not.

Quick service and was very nice. No complaints.

Poor, very poor. Not local, just passing through. Will not be going there again. Partner threw his into the bin and is really disappointed. Chips were terrible. Tasted as though they were reheated from last week. Curry had no taste whatsoever.

Took over 2hours to arrive. Food was cold and you could see the food had been sat for ages. Phoned the takeaway 3 times, each time they said it would be 5 mins, it never came. I would never recommend this place again. Horrific!

The reason I gave them 2*is because my meal was delicious But my husband ordered sirloin steak dinner the first one came with two very small pieces of Steak, didn't look like sirloin, tasted disgusting. He then moved it over and pulled a very long blonde hair out of it. We telephoned them and they offered to prepare a new meal the second one didn't have a long blonde hair in it but nothing else had changed. So be careful what you order as mine was spot on.

Not good service. Took 10 mins just to make rice and it wasn’t even nice it tasted watery. Didn’t even come with forks to eat it with which you’d expect. The lady at front counter pulled one of the chefs on to her and kissed. Not good service

Totally disgusted. I ordered a meal from here at 7.15 on just eat. I had a phone call at 9pm to say that it was going to be kate as due to floods the driver was coming the long way round ( we knew this as my partner ordered from a takeaway in castleford and he got it to us with a detour) at 9.30 we rung to ask where it was to be told it had been cancelled without no phone call or nothing. This was 2 hours and 15 minutes after our order of 1 meal for me and my son to share. The member of staff on the phones reply was "what do you want me to do about it?" For a start learn some manners and decent customer service skills. Just rude! Far from WONDERFUL!!

Lucky it’s that food hit and miss but tonight 2/3/19 we waited 2 hours for food we got told an hour on phone as a regular customer I’m disappointed in your service definitely not recommend when food takes this long and it’s standard food (chips raw) pork fatty not good enough

Ordered chicken in batter with sweet and sour sauce, chip and rice. Chicken in batter tastes like it's been reheated. Chips were under cooked and ended up getting gravy instead of sweet and sour sauce and delivery took over an hour

Every time I order the price of the food is higher than stated in the menu.they used to be lovely but now it tastes as if it's been cooked earlier in day and then warmed up.will not be using again

I love Foo Yung and I was recommended this takeaway by my brother in law. It was amongst the worst I have ever had so I'll never be ordering from here again, most of it went in the bin because I just couldn't eat anymore of it. It arrived on time but was awful.
