Wonderful Chinese Takeaway in Ealing

This was our second time to order from Wonderful in Bilton Road, Perivale, after our local and normal Chinese had let us down drastically through non-delivery of food on time. We ordered through Uber eats who delivered the food fairly rapidly to be honest. This time our order consisted of Special chow mein, prawn crackers, wonton soup and my daughter had Special Udon. We were more than happy with the first order and again the second order which is why we re-ordered for a second time and will possibly carry on re-ordering with them for the time being. Quality of food was good and the price for the above mentioned order was £32.36p which included a 10% tip and delivery charge.

After waiting 3/4 of an hour for the food they eventually cancelled the order leaving me with no food. The reason for cancelling was they hadn't got any riders despite saying that the rider was on the way to the restaurant. This happened 8 times. If they didn't have any riders then they shouldn't be accepting orders. They lose my custom!!!!!

I ordered 2 drinks. Only gave me one.

This used to be the go-to Chinese for my family. New owners now and the food is awful. Spent £40 and threw it all in the bin rather than argue over a refund. Also they now only accept cash. Avoid.

100% don't order from here if your looking for halal food. I'm so sure the chicken in satay sauce was cooked in pork or the same pan..it had the worst smell and I feel so sick..I still.ignored it and tried it. But honestly I spend £45 and I feel completely sick !!! Would never order here again.

Effecient, good food. I dont eat pork and the order I picked contained pork. I left a request note to confirm this and I later received a call from them asking for an alternative which was helpful and nice. This is my second time ordering, enjoyed it

The order had a live mosquito in the bag. The person at the restaurant didnt speak English. I spoke to Just Eat they said no refund as the food was not effected. This is wrong under the consumer rights act as the food is effected.

Ignore the bad reviews! I ordered a takeaway and the food was very very fresh and tasty and good portion sizes!

Had the sweet and sour...the chicken was hard and crispy, disgusting sauce and the bbq wings were so salty it was inedible. Not nice at all! Wish I could get my money back tbh.

Chicken noodles was off . They were not fresh at all first time ever . Tasted sour not eatable. So sad this was my favourite Chinese. I order it it was delivered in 5 min nobody make fresh food so fast . Very disappointing.Now my belly hurts 😫

Love this restaurant. Highly recommend the Beef Chow Mein, Tofu with ginger, Beef in black bean sauce with green pepper.... Taste so good! So great that it's halal too. Maggie will always take care of you. Fast delivery and great customer service as always that's why we keep coming back.

STAY AWAY FROM HERE FOOD IS DISGUSTING. I ordered tofu sweet and sour Hong Kong style and it was not even in batter. No taste really bad food. Go to Jaws in Alperton or china kitchen Hanwell both not too far from this horrible place.

I was reluctant to try here because of the bad reviews however I’m glad I did. I ordered chicken Thai green curry with veg & egg fried rice and I can honestly say it was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Fresh, hot & very tasty. Well priced and very fast to be cooked.

Good food… but check prices they inflate prices on dishes. After a few years we added up and it was £10 more and we questioned the female she came out with excuses. Add your total from menu. Then there was delivery charge till we realised we were under 2 miles which should be free so now they charging 10p for delivery plastic bags. I have never see a delivery charging for bags. Lady is about money money money and charging extra where she can.

The worst takeaway ever, reheated (microwaved, refried?) chicken with raw peppers, terrible taste. I've just went there to complain, the man in charge said if I'm not happy with their food talk to the Uber they'll do refund ( probably they "cooked" that as well ) terrible experience from all aspects. Avoid as hell!

I ordered in both times. Portions are okay, taste is great (except for the chow mien, which tasted really bland, for whatever reason). Service was super fast! They didn’t add napkins even though I asked in the notes one time. No complaints, otherwise. If you’re super hungry and want something quick, their delivery is speedy!

I ordered Singapore special fried rice an sweet an sour chicken , an special fried noodles I order on uber eats. Its a touch n go so to speak! meaning one min its really nice the next u order its not nice n they send u different to what you ordered On the Singapore fried rice rice it came Singapore noodles they didnt n send what i ordered plusin it was full of red chilli peppers even tho I ask it to be spicy but it was half of the container full of it was meant to have chicken, pork, beef and prawns in it but it only had chicken about 3 peaces shredded was highly disapponted the sweets and sour chicken had lots of onions n pineapples in it with about 4 peace of chicken 🙄🙄 so my daughter was un happy n the special fried rice was boring bland she described it i mean on ordering it on the app these are the disappointment to complain. But then its like wasting money to be disappointment 🙄

I recently ordered the satay chicken from this restaurant, hoping to enjoy a traditional cuisine. Unfortunately, the dish was disappointing as it lacked the satay sauce and other essential ingredients that make the dish unique. Instead, I received some bland, overcooked chicken pieces and veggies. I was extremely dissatisfied with the food quality and overall experience. In my opinion, the restaurant's standards fell far below what should be expected. I strongly advise against ordering anything from this place. In my view, it would be best if the restaurant addressed the quality issues, or else it may face consequences such as closure.

Ordered through just eat ,discussed as couldnt eat it as way to salty chucked it all,chicken balls just pure dough and thai green curry was like someone just put all salf in what a waste of money n will defo not reccomend

I got food poisoning straight after eating food. I ordered house special chow mien with gravy. Gravy was watery, almost half the container and very less noodle. I’m not going to order again

If you need good Chinese food and quick service? This is the place to visit. Good tasting Chinese fast food. Reasonably priced and good portions.

Quick summary: if you don’t want to cook this is an alright place to order from. This place is called the wonderful Chinese. We ordered sweet-and-sour chicken egg fried rice black bean sauce and some banana desserts overall the sweet-and-sour chicken and fried beef and black bean sauce mains were pretty good. Rice portions were generous (next time would only order one for the two of us). We were pretty disappointed with the desert option so definitely would not recommend the desert. The service was pretty quick and we got free prawn crackers which is always great.

So despite the poor Google reviews I still proceeded to order from here. The food arrived briskly after a small 20-30minute wait and of course I was unsure on how to proceed. However once the food came; I opened up and began to plate what I had purchased, I bought Tom yum soup (not pictured)and chicken & sweetcorn soup as my starters. Both soups were delicious and flavourful the chicken sweetcorn soup was However quite thick resembling Porridge consistency more than that of soup but alas it tasted lovely. After such great starters I had high hopes for the mains continuing the high quality. I bought beef chow mein and sweet sour chicken Hong Kong style. The chow mein was flavourful, the beef was tender and the vegetables were crunchy. However the sweet sour chicken was cold and somewhat gloopy and unpleasant. On the whole the portions are large and could accommodate for 2 maybe even 3 people and there is a wide selection to pick from, if the shop could work on temperature issues and consistency then my review would have been 5 stars and lack any negatives. Despite my review I can only speak for the products I ordered and not for any other food they offer so proceed with a pinch of salt in mind.

One of the worst Takeaways I have ever got. Plainest food I have ever had, and I can’t eat spicy The place is relatively pricey for a Chinese takeaways. I had egg fried rice, it was literally a scrambled egg and rice, no salt or anything at all, not fried rice, BOILED RICE. Had the chicken balls, no seasoning at all, the chicken tasted old and refried. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

Absolutely gorgeous food! The best Chinese I have had in a long time, I would say they could be the best in the borough, definitely the best local to me! Good pricing, great portions, and cooked very well! What is a bonus the people are very friendly, and considerate.

I'm rewriting my post for the second time... This Chinese has gone down from a two star... I am really stupid for ordering for the second time from this place... If its not good at first it will never be good... It is without a doubt the worse Chinese food I have ever tasted.... I am sure they sell you left over food from the day before... As soon as you open the lid you can see that the food is not fresh and you start wondering if its really Chinese food you see before your eyes...

By far the worst Chinese I’ve had in my life the chicken satay on skewers look like they’ve been run over by an Arctic Lorry and the salt and pepper chips look like a soggy pair of boxers after a half marathon and tasted even worse I would not go to this place the woman on the phone is rude and can’t take a complaint if I could review this place -5 I would.

Sweet and sour chicken with literally 5 pieces of dry, cold chicken. Food is pretty terrible, might be worst Chinese takeout I've ever had.

Ugh… where do I start. Reheated chicken skewers were like rock. Gloopy supposedly ‘satay’ sauce was clearly several days (if not weeks) old and resembled some weird brown blancmange. Whoever has given this place more than one star was clearly under the influence of something that brought on indiscriminate munchies. What a waste of money; Next stop - Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares. Some people think the restauranting is easy money

Ordered curry sauce and chips and full of oil. This takeaway is far more interested in getting the orders out that food quality is poor. Curry sauce was awful.

I ordered via UberEats and I was delighted with the order. I've never had Sweet & Sour Tofu Hong Kong style before and really enjoyed it. The Seaweed was also perfect without the shrimp powder, (at request). I would highly recommend for vegetarians/vegans who enjoy Chinese food. Portion size was also very good. 👌

For the 2nd time, were totally disappointed!

They charged £9.60 for mixed seafood noodles. They sent TWO king prawn & THREE SMALL pieces of squid. Every half decent Chinese will give Four king prawn and maybe five squid for £6.50 I would not recommend!! I actually want a refund!!!

Ordered a meal and was constantly told its on its way and it never arrived, tried to get a refund for the order and kept getting hung up on after trying to contact them for 3 days still waiting for a response as well . Do not order from here it’s a waste of time and money.

Order here to give your money away. I'm not one for writing bad reviews. But last night when we found ourselves in a bind and needed food asap, we tried ubereats priority delivery (extra cost) and it took these guys 3 hours! 3 whole hours to get us the food. I phoned and asked what was up, they said it was coming, instead delay after delay. Gave up on them coming obviously. I should have trusted their already bad review score and stayed away.

Placed an order for delivery at 19:40, it's now 21:19 and they still havent delivered and this was after a call to the restaurant and being told the food was being pack for delivery.

The food was full of flavour and exceeded expectations. Definitely visiting them again. Staff were courteous and helpful. I ordered online to collect in person but was running slightly behind, they rang me to check if it will help to deliver. Loved the satay and the Singapore noodles 😋

waited for delivery around 2 hours

Ordered food from them on uber eat. It was accepted almost instantly at around 7.20pm.. called twice, answered by two different people with 2 different stories. Its 9.10 and i still haven't received my food. The bloke who answered was extremely rude and condescending. Ruined my appetite and mood... never ordering from them again... Only order from them if you want to be lied to bieng shouted at over the phone and getting nowhere while trying to find out the status of your order. Abysmal service.

Ordered through Uber Eats from here. They accepted my order immediately, taking my money and making it impossible for me to cancel. They then took over two hours to send the food. Shocking service. They shouldn't be accepting that many orders when they clearly can't handle it. Don't order from here unless you're willing to eat at any time in the night. Ruined birthday.

2.5 hours of waiting for a delivery order because they didn’t even start cooking it until 2 hours after they took the order. Wouldn’t let us cancel the order and take our money back either. Appalling and lazy. Ruined our Friday evening.

Really happy with the service from Wonderful Chinese! Very courteous and thoughtful - when a customer cancelled a dish from their order, they called us to ask if we would like to take the dish for free. Of course we said yes, it was really nice of them as they didn't have to do that but they did anyway! Food itself was lovely, would definitely eat from there again.

They are a commercial restaurant with no attention to detail. Orders are hurried to get the job done. Called them to rectify my order and the driver still went and got the wrong order. Just Eat shape up! This restaurant? Hilarious!

Cold, disgusting and 2 hours for delivery. Most disgusting special fried rice i've ever had, nothing at all special about it. No peas, some cheap horrible white rice and filled to the brim with garlic and cheap veg.
